Constant problems with no water

Constant problems with no water can't replace the pipes but can pay their shareholders

Entering day 4 without mains water

Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

Dreadful service

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Great service from Anglia Water

I have had several occasions to call Anglia Water over the past couple of years the most recent being this week. Each time the staff both on the phone and the people who have come to deal with the problem have been fantastic- so helpful and a very prompt service.

Great customer service

Phoned up Anglian water re a broken drain cover in my front garden. Leanne was very helpful and two of the team turned up the next day and fixed my drain for me. Super quick, super helpful and friendly staff, an asset to the company. Thank you Anglian water for your outstanding customer service.

The most helpful person I’ve ever come across

After my partner leaving I had the daunting task of changing all bills into my name. Spoke to the most friendly, helpful, lady Becca who not only did her job to perfection but went over and beyond informing me of all the extra help I was now initialled to. I can’t express my gratitude enough. We need more people in the world like Becca.

We had a blocked sewer at our house

We had a blocked sewer at our house. The man I spoke to when reporting the problem was extremely polite and helpful. He gave me a time frame for someone to come out and I asked if I could be telephoned half hour before they were due so I could get home. The man sent to sort out the sewer did call me half an hour before his arrival. He was also polite and helpful. He sorted the issue quickly and efficiently. All was left clean and tidy. A big thank you from our house. Well done. I cannot fault the service we recieved.

Awesome resolution of my complaint

My account has been cancelled as someone else wrongly registered my address and after I have complaint, Jason Traves resolved my query in very professional manner. Sometimes things go wrong, but I have changed my mind about this company, they are definitely happy to deal with an issue and help their customers the best they can. I rarely change my Trustpilot, but Jason deserves 5 stars. Thank you

Anglian Water - We do nothing to help

This company just does not care. Poor service, poor customer services and a CEO who just can't be bothered. As a disabled customer, I have been treated in the most bizarre way that I have now cancelled my direct debit and they have been informed. It is so reassuring when this company contacts you the day after to ask for an alternative payment but lets you down on everything else. I want you to take me to court so that I can explain how bad you have treated me

I reported a blocked sewage drain on…

I reported a blocked sewage drain on Friday pm in LN2 (Lincoln) area. The response was excellent. The lady who took my initial call was polite, friendly, informative and helpful. She advised of likely timescales for response. My problem was not a critical emergency as only affected my property and no vulnerable people on site. The engineer arrived at 11.45am - less than 24 hours later. Cleared the blockage and was very helpful. So reassuring to know that Anglian Water are responsive and professional. Thank you very much. It is much appreciated.

I reported a problem with a sewage drain

I reported a problem with a sewage drain overflowing on line. I was informed an engineer would be in site within 4 hours. Within 2.5 hours the engineer had attended and cleared the drain. This was 8pm. The following day they attended again and further cleaned and disinfected the whole area. Excellent service.

TL;DR A complete lack of communication…

TL;DR A complete lack of communication caused a very negative impact on my credit score, be warned as you may also be affected and AW doesn't seem to contact people with this issue. Quite a long read.. I moved into my current property in Oct 2017 and notified Anglian Water (AW from here on in) of us moving in. The letting agents that we were renting from had already contacted AW to let them know we were supposed to move in 2 weeks prior to that (property wasn't in a fit state to live in at that point so we pulled out but that's a whole other story). AW didn't bother to contact us to let us know that despite the fact we weren't physically at the property for those 2 weeks, they still charged us £16 but when we actually did move into the property and notified them, they closed the other account and opened up a new one which we put on direct debit and have never had an issue with, again zero communication from them regarding the old account or any debt we were in. 3 whole years later I am checking my credit report (as you all should!) and it says I've got a negative mark due to a missed payment from AW, I was very confused as my DD payment of about £18 a month has never been a problem as we were always in credit so I called AW up and spoke to an advisor who looked at our account and said "there must be a mistake, your account is all up to date and you are in credit by some ammount". After a long winded dispute with one of the credit agencies they said that the report was coming from AW and they wouldn't change it unless told to do so by AW, so again we go to AW who on the second time of calling now start looking properly by searching the address rather than just on the account number. Bingo, this chap finds the old account and says there is an outstanding balance to the bank shattering sum of £16, ok I say, why weren't we told about this? He says they don't chase people for payment when it's under £20, so I file an offical complaint that they have then suddenly sent off a report to credit agencies saying that I've not paid something I've never been aware of. According to a representitve from Anglian Water, they went through an audit with the credit agencies around March time and were advised to report anyone that has an outstanding balance of more than £5. Fair enough as previously they weren't reporting people with balances under £20 (but not writing it off either?), but the big mistake here is that AW sent *NO* communication via email, text, letter or telephone, or anything else they just straight up reported the missing balance to the credit agencies and caused a negative impact onto our credit report with absolutely zero consideration for what impact and stress it would have to their customers. This is my warning, and my reason for the negative review. Full disclosure: Thankfully they have since wiped out the £16 debt and paid back money that we lost out to due to their lack of communication they also updated the credit agency to remove the mark against our name, so while they have fixed the issue that their lack of communication caused, I think it's important to warn people as AW doesn't seem interested in contacting people who could be affected. Their legal team also spewed some rubbish about how it wasn't their fault (despite the fact that it is, due to zero communication with myself or my wife) and yet paid the exact amount we were out of pocket for.
