Useless Money Grab

Results consisted of a very little bit of useless information. Evidently I have a full sibling brother named Colleen? What on earth is that supposed to mean? Site teases you with other information available if you want to pay extra for it. No thank you Ancestory. I’ll just be done now.

Worse company I’ve dealt with

Jokes of a company had 4 kits sent out now none of them have worked. Customer service is shocking don’t have a clue what they’re doing. If you read this review please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Little info, unless you pay more money

Ancestry gave me a little bit of information and then wants to charge me for anything else. I thought it would be way more interesting and have more info. Nope. I don't recommend it unless you are going to spend a lot moremoney.

I started using Ancestry during g the…

I started using Ancestry during g the pandemic. What a wonderful experience but expensive. I decided to get the DNA kit since 21andMe fell in the toilet. It sucks all they want is to drain my money with every single interaction I have with them. JFC!

Do not waste your money

Don’t waste your money. I wish I had done more research into this company. Paid for the DNA testing kit, which they have only just received sent 8 days ago! I have been receiving non relevant information that doesn’t in any way match the information I have provided. Emails trying to upsell when still waiting for the basics. Today I find that well over a hundred pounds has been taken from my account which I would never have agreed to as I always would go for a monthly subscription. I have contacted them and will not even receive a reply for 7 days. I wish I had never signed up the whole experience has not had any positives. One star is generous. I will post again when I hear if I will get a refund!!!!

Not very intuitive

Not very intuitive. Editing is difficult. I have my my father, my mother, my sister listed twice listed twice and I can’t fix it. I’d like to delete the entire thing and start over. No tools to edit easily when partial info is correct but not all. Just to jumbled to maneuver. Hate it right now and there are no helpful steps to fix. I’m not enjoying this experience at all.

this is just a money-making organization

The first thing that is wrong with this company is why do you have everybody's family historic records and the family doesn't even have them. Then you want us to pay for records that are rightfully ours because you know what the government did to us. I got a two-week trial offer and with those two weeks I got no hints no nothing so I canceled then the third week here you go taking 39.99 out of my account that I want you to refund ASAP. I think Trump should shut you down. I have a friend that knows Trump personally and I'm going to see what can be done about ancestry.com not even existing anymore. Are to become under government control the new government control. You are a bunch of scammers and you need to be shut down and somebody else needs to take your place you think people have money to find out where they come from and where they belong you're wrong just like this crooked ass government took our people killed them rape them maned them. Raping babies grown men raping other grown men butt breaking. The unimaginable torture of people. Lynching people from trees pregnant women and you can't give us our f****** information the hell with you and your services just like I said I hope you get shut down by the government the new government the new world order should not put up with this s***. They said they couldn't see a charge on their end for $39.99 but my bank sure did. These are modern day slave owners.. give us our information that belongs to us we're not paying for another damn hint.

Disappointed

Now I have to pay more money for the details of my results? Certainly not what I expected to achieve here. This is why I held off on buying any more offers. Just waiting to see what I actually get for my money. Have to tell you, I am disappointed.

I'm very disappointed in the results

I'm very disappointed in the results. I don't know who's saliva you tested, but it wasn't mine. I know my family lineage all the way from the 1700's and the results you gave me don't come close to it. I feel I wasted my money.
