RUN RUN RUN!!!!!

RUN RUN RUN!!!!!! Do not waste your time or money I have been paying for a sectional and cheap wobbly table almost 2yrs I have tried to contact cooperate no answer. I left messages no answer. I tried to return the furniture. They told me I have to donate it to a GoodWill. I am trapped. I didn't understand I had to pay it in 3months no one explained that. Now I have paid over $2000 for a cheap sectional and a wobbly table. I wish there were legal action I could take. DO NOT SHOP HERE PLEASE IT IS A RIP OFF PLEASE RUN I BEG U

Horrible service. I regret I ever bought from here.

We bought a bed today for the end of year Dec 31st, 2019 sale. I really liked the bed. But I cannot say the same for the customer service. For the second time, we were on the brink of just walking out of the store namely because of the rude, obnoxious, quirt attitude of manager, Andria. Every question after question was met with a quirt response or no response. Pretending to be on the phone, giggling with a friend, turning my questions away, ignoring me 3 times when I asked how much the bed was before taxes. Very very very very rude. If it wasn't for the back pain mother was experiencing, we would have left the store again for the second time. (We were in the store previously on Black Friday but had left due to rude service at that time). Since this wasn't the first negative experience we've had with this manager "Andria". Very rude and obnoxious person. I wished I could have spoken to the owner of the store to report her attitude towards the customers the first time it happened. She was very condescending and rude towards us. Even to the point when we were making the payment, she looked at me condescendingly when I was about to make the payment she again turns me away, and helps another customer, then after I had to wait on her, when I had my credit card out for her to take, she turns away again and helps another customer. I am starting to regret buying from your store altogether due to the absolutely horrible experience we had with Andria. I will see to it that our entire family members my brothers and sisters cousins and friends and co-workers will never ever shop at your store again, as long as Andria is still working for your store. Happy New Year!

First we didn't get our couch until way…

First we didn't get our couch until way after we were supposed to. I'm pretty sure they gave us the wrong color. I wanted light grey and this is definitely darker. And don't lean on it if you have long hair. The fibers keep getting tangled up in my hair it frizzes up like crazy. I've had to spend tons on oil treatments and detanglers to get it all out. And low and behold my knots had fibers in it. The static from it is quite comical tho. Its ok for the price but definitely getting a cover if I can find one.

EXCELLENCE

I'm a FAITHFUL Customer of American Freight East Main St for the last 5 years easily. The reason is because of their Staff. I get the BEST Customer Service EVERY single time I go into there store on East Main St. I have to say ....a month of so ago, I went to the store on Morse Rd & walked right back out because no one ACKNOWLEDGED me. The Customer service was horrible. People just standing around at the service desk. I didn't feel welcome at ALL. BUT when I walked into their East Main St location no matter how busy they may have been, they've ALWAYS ALWAYS acknowledged me & were ready to help. A VERY friendly environment. The last couple of days I went in to get another piece to my previous purchased & literally waited for Debra to finish up with a Customer & asked for her assistance because she have helped me before. She helped with NO problem or questions asked. Then I went in today 12/14 to pick up my purchase. She was busy & I was going to patiently wait however another associate, I hate describing him this way, but a very friendly & professional African American. I didn't know/get his name. He was willing to Assist me & he was even AWESOME. I will continue shopping there as well ad sending customers their way. Thank you ALL for your WONDERFUL Customer service. It takes a TEAM! You ROCK❤❤❤❤

Mario the manager at American Freight…

Mario the manager at American Freight in Toledo Ohio, is a very personsble and great person to wait on you, and takes his time helping you pick out what you need. I am very satisfied with the customer service and the dinning room set I purchased from the store. I will definitely be back to purchase a lining room set.

Ordered a large sectional for the…

Ordered a large sectional for the living room and a bedrooom set. Came out to almost 3k. Paid it off in 3 months with no interest . Alot of people that are complaining are people that didn't read the contract . I didnt read the contract as well but when i seen i had to pay it off before a certain date to not be charged interest thats what i did. Even tho i think its dumb that the furniture is 3k and when you dont pay after 90 days is 8k is a rip off however i signed ut so i paid the 3k off in 90 days.. read before you sign. We love the furniture though..

I moved to Columbus Ohio November of…

I moved to Columbus Ohio November of 2007. I walked into the main Street American freight company and purchased over $18,000 in furniture. And I truly love the furniture, well years have passed and I need it a new bed. I walked in and put $100 deposit down on a pillow top mattress after I finish paying over $598 for this mattress it was now delivery day. And the mattress that came to my home what's not a pillow top mattress. I am furious I am upset because these people will not take this mattress back and this was all their mistake. So my words today are , I would not recommend this place to a dog and they will never ever get another dime from me.

We had shopped for a new sectional and…

We had shopped for a new sectional and recliner for months. We finally found the perfect set at American Freight. A beautiful smiling face greeted us, her name was Asia. She was so helpful and friendly. Melvin is the stores manager and he was wonderful!! Together these two made this shopping experience fantastic!!!! Thank you Asia and Melvin we definitely will shop with you again!!!!

What to choose what will you decide?

I really like the pleasant atmosphere and the friendly faces as you walk into the warehouse is a bonus on top of all the chooses of furniture you have to choose from. The easy finance or layaway options is a great thing as well. So I think everyone should go out there try for yourself. They really got something for everyone.

Dissatisfied customer

I purchased 4 bedrooms sets and the 3 bed sets are fine. However my king bedroom set the mattress seems like it doesn’t fit the bed. There is a big gap between the mattress and the headboard. I spoke with the salesperson and she informed the manager the issue I was having. I sent them pictures of the spacing and the manager told me that’s how it supposed to be. There shouldn’t be space big enough for my child to fall through (which did happen). He didn’t want to come up with a solution to help me with the matter or anything. Basically said it was my problem. I am so not satisfied with this company.

Do not buy anything from this company

Do not buy anything from this company. The salesman are worse than any others that I have ever encountered before. They will lie there regional manager Chris will back them up and attack you even after his staff admitted to what they told you. He is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have never been talk to or treated this way by any company that I have work with before. The furniture is of poor quality. I have been back and forth with the manager Chris and salesman Lee out of Charlotte for months now with no resolve. I still do not have all of the furniture that I requested and what I have is or has broken down already. I am very dissatisfied and will be seeking legal actions at this point

Horrible service and substandard…

Horrible service and substandard merchandise, We purchased a sectional and dinette set from the Glendale AZ. location and had it all delivered. The furniture was 2500.00 dollars and we had to pay extra for delivery we also paid for a hassle free replacement warranty in case something happened on our end. Well we had the furniture 3 days when the frame of the sectional broke I could hardly believe my ears when I heard it crack. We called and spoke to Nick whom assured us there would be no Hassle if something went wrong. When we called we were assured they would indeed replace the unit although they had to get it from another store we said great. Two weeks passed with no calls and no delivery of the replacement we called back and they informed us they needed photos now to submit the claim. We sent photos and and were told again that it was approved and we would get them Tuesday or Wednesday of the coming week this call was on Saturday. Two weeks passed again with no call no delivery so we called back and spoke to the Salesperson that sold the Furniture to us. She stated Nick was not in but she remembered us and would try to find out what was happening and get back to us. Another 4 days goes by and no call no delivery so we call again and are asked to resubmit the photos again and we did this as well and are told it should be cleared up right away. We wait again and then call and finally talk to Nick again and he does not know anything because he was out of state but will call me the next day. Got the call from Nick the next day but still no delivery of the replacement I tell Nick I am ready for them to return my money and we will go somewhere else his response was oh well that will not be possible at all. Here we are at Saturday and my Wife had to go borrow a truck and go to the store with baby in tote to tell them she wanted the replacement couch. This is terrible customer service I am not sure how they stay in Business treating people like this and how the upper management can be okay with this behavior from the stores. This has to be the worst experience ever in regards to the way we were dealt with in regards to the quality of craftsmanship and service by this store. I have been in retail sales now for 26 years in the Automotive Industry here in the Valley and if we treated someone like this I would get fired. I cannot stress enough how very unhappy we are with the merchandise and the service we were given or not given in this case. Funny how helpful they were taking the money but how we had to practically beg for help when there was a problem with the merchandise.
