Accommodation was excellent .Staff very efficient and helpful Food -Breakfast good selection of food Evening meal could be better Day trips-lovely day in Swanage and Poole no time to spend in Poole would rather slend a full day in Swanage Coach to Tamworth had to changd coach 3 times not sure if this a regular accuracebut its annoying Coming home straight to Tamworth but had to wait for a coach to pull in with 4 passengers on board Felt sorty fof the driver as he was getging grief from passengers waiting to get home But there had been a accident on the motoway so the delay couldn't be helped . Surely there must be a better way for logistics instead of changing at Tamworth and waiting and waiting and waiting

From pickup to drop off home

From pickup to drop off home, everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up. The Hotel was lovely, food was good with plenty of choice and all meals were waiter service too. I had a single room which was quite spacious and there was no single supplement😊. The only negative was the shower didn't have a thermostat and was difficult to keep to one temperature but it wouldn't stop me from booking again. This was my first time with Alfa and won't be the last, the service by all staff at the hotel and the drivers was first class.

A lovely break!

This was our first holiday with Alfa and we really enjoyed it. We liked the hotel and the journey there was easy and without any problem. The hotel was nice and was clean. We thought our bed was a bit rickety and could do with some attention. There were two members of staff that really stood out, one in the dining room and Steve behind the bar was customer focussed and nothing was too much trouble for him. Rochelle in the dining room looked after us really well and both these people are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately things started to unravel on the journey home where we had a prolonged wait at Tamworth because one of the connecting coaches had been delayed. However, our onward driver who was put under unnecessary pressure by a minority of customers, did everything right and although we didn’t get home until quite late we thoroughly enjoyed our time away. So much so that we have booked another holiday with you later in the year.

Scarborough

Everything was great. Thanks a lot. It was so nice to be waited on. The day trips were very interesting,especially Whitby. The driver was very caring and helpful and knew a lot about the area. The room was just what we ordered. The twin beds were very comfortable. Thanks again for a lovely holiday. We will definitely be back for another Alfa holiday. Xxxx ❤

MISLEADING INFO

This company states in Bold letters No Single Supplements but whenever you ring up. No matter how early you ring before holiday commences there are none left.?? I find this quite strange??? Should not state this in writing if supplements always apply

Good Service and Great Value

Over 20 years and counting. 25 trips and no major issues at all. Burtonwood Services are too small for the 500-1000 passengers, with only WHSmith & Starbucks open of a morning and KFC for the evening return. Double benches would also be better. Being Family Run and part Staff Owner does help to provide more passion from workers to provide a 5 star service and do their best to resolve issues.

A very tiring journey

The hotel and staff were very good, no faults at all.however, it took 12 hrs from pick up to hotel including hanging about at the interchange, ( not acceptable ) and 10.5hrs back.

Every step runs smoothly from pick up…

Every step runs smoothly from pick up through to the holiday destination and back. The hotel at Tenby was comfortable, clean and the staff friendly and extremely helpful. Food really good. The excursions were enjoyable. Everything explained to us about timings etc by the driver. Our driver Dave was kind, knowledgeable and informative about the area. Only one criticism. Burtonwood does not have enough room inside. Lots of people with mobility issues having to stand around waiting for their coaches. Ok on a fine day with seating outside but impractical from Aurumn.

Hotel looked after us very well food good and varied menu coach and driver Jim was very full of information and did his best to keep you up to date with always a smile the only setback was the delay at Reading interchange but staff tried to cover this as best they could
