Accommodation was excellent .Staff very efficient and helpful Food -Breakfast good selection of food Evening meal could be better Day trips-lovely day in Swanage and Poole no time to spend in Poole would rather slend a full day in Swanage Coach to Tamworth had to changd coach 3 times not sure if this a regular accuracebut its annoying Coming home straight to Tamworth but had to wait for a coach to pull in with 4 passengers on board Felt sorty fof the driver as he was getging grief from passengers waiting to get home But there had been a accident on the motoway so the delay couldn't be helped . Surely there must be a better way for logistics instead of changing at Tamworth and waiting and waiting and waiting

From pickup to drop off home

From pickup to drop off home, everything was taken care of, all I had to do was turn up. The Hotel was lovely, food was good with plenty of choice and all meals were waiter service too. I had a single room which was quite spacious and there was no single supplement😊. The only negative was the shower didn't have a thermostat and was difficult to keep to one temperature but it wouldn't stop me from booking again. This was my first time with Alfa and won't be the last, the service by all staff at the hotel and the drivers was first class.

A lovely break!

This was our first holiday with Alfa and we really enjoyed it. We liked the hotel and the journey there was easy and without any problem. The hotel was nice and was clean. We thought our bed was a bit rickety and could do with some attention. There were two members of staff that really stood out, one in the dining room and Steve behind the bar was customer focussed and nothing was too much trouble for him. Rochelle in the dining room looked after us really well and both these people are a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately things started to unravel on the journey home where we had a prolonged wait at Tamworth because one of the connecting coaches had been delayed. However, our onward driver who was put under unnecessary pressure by a minority of customers, did everything right and although we didn’t get home until quite late we thoroughly enjoyed our time away. So much so that we have booked another holiday with you later in the year.

As usual we were well taken care of…

As usual we were well taken care of every thing was great room food entertainment and day trip the feed back on this trip from our driver was superb very interesting his knowledge was awesome Thank-you very much keep it going 😀 👍 😊 🙂 👌

Long journey but very good accommodation

We hadn't anticipated the length of time it would take to get to our destination, but once there we were very pleased with the hotel which was spotlessly clean and provided very nice meals. I did like the fact that our bags were loaded onto our feeder bus and we didn't see them again until we were in our room and there they were waiting for us.

Great holiday

I have just returned from a holiday at the Monarch Hotel Bridlington which I enjoyed very much. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable and the service was good. The coach driver Keiran was excellent and did as much as he could to keep his passengers happy. My only issue is that we were put on the sixth floor and there was only lift access to the fifth. In the confirmation letter I have it definitely says lift access to all floors. I wasn’t aware of how many floors there were and on which floor we were staying but had no reason to question it because of the confirming letter nor did the hotel know that maybe I would struggle with the stairs. I didn’t mention this issue while we were there and it hasn’t put me off coming back again. I just think maybe you could clarify the situation so people can make the decision before choosing. I noticed that in the new brochure it says lift access to 5 floors so I am guessing this isn’t the first time it’s been mentioned. Maybe if you are allocating a room on the sixth floor you could inform the customers of this issue, just in case. Thanks once again for a lovely holiday and we look forward to visiting the Mornarch hotel again.

Self drive...hotel good

Self drive...hotel friendly and good service ,bar restaurant and reception. Food delicious and had a good choice .apple pie yum! Bed Room at back with small windows and ok . Bathroom shower room with lots of space .

The Border Holiday

Good hotel, lovely staff, situated in a super position near the lovely town of Melrose. Excursions to Edinburgh and Royal Yacht/Peebles were great.

Cool Cromer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cromer. Although the weather was sunny, there were strong winds which made it feel rather cold. (Obviously not Alfa's fault). Hotel, food and staff - all good.

Overall the holiday was very good

Overall the holiday was very good. Hotel mostly good, staff mostly good ( young lad waiting on us was hopeless) but Kenny who seemed to do everythingwas great, entertainment mixed- Simon Rees was brilliant, bingo and quiz good, lady singer dreadful. Food was OK, not great but satisfactory. Coach was clean and comfortable. Excursions enjoyable. Delay at feeder station, which spoiled the overall good feeling of the holiday a bit.

the driver, Nigel, gave a splendid guide to the things and places we were passing through and visiting. The weather was good despite a lot of rain during our stay. Everyone was very helpful.
