Excellent response same day I contacted Wessex Water an engineer came to see what was happening with waste pipe.

I would have loved to give WW a five star as every time we have met an actual person or spoken to someone they have been really helpful and generally used a common sense approach. I can’t go for 5 star as they have delayed our build considerably through not acting on an email labelled urgent. On the third occasion that I followed this up, customer service advisor was really helpful and called me back the same day with a resolution. The team on site were 5 star - Martin, James and Chaz were friendly and knowledgeable and forever apologising for having to dig up our garden to divert a pipe that wasn’t even ours! Wessex water get a bad rap (as do most water companies to be fair) but when you look behind the company to the people you realise they do want to do the best for their customers and to make sure this complex and aging system will continue to work as we do take it for granted!

We had an unscheduled ‘water analysis’ visit today. Just 10 minutes - no fuss….simply taking mains water samples from tap. Reassuring to know these take place as they thoroughly check the water quality to ensure it’s meeting all the requirements. The property is picked randomly to represent all residences in the area using the same reservoirs etc. Polite and professional operative (Ian Lucas); helpful and informative.
Harry, who took our call, was helpful and courteous, explaining everything clearly. The engineer, Leo, fixed our immediate problem and answered all our questions. He was particularly kind to my autistic daughter
