Efficient Web chat after reporting sewage leak in road outside house. Engineer turned up promptly and resolved problem. Whole matter dealt with quickly and smoothly.
Never explained about billing etc which nearly caused me to go into debt. Price increase now reflected but not using more water etc. esp as every other bill gone up but wages hasn’t.
I had three really complex questions that were all difficult to solve. I had spoken to other representatives that were nice, but could not really help me. I meeded someone with both expertise and a willingness to spend the time on the phone with me. ALFIE WAS AMAZING. He was not only incredibly helpful with all of my questions, he was funny and kind and patient. Wessex Water has been fine, but the 5 stars go to Alfie.

I don't like being call by my first name by people I don't know. ALL you agents a disrespectful and should ask if they can use a person's first name. Otherwise they should use their title ie Mr Jones.
My enquiry was answered by Ollie. He was polite and clear thinking. He expressed himself well. He handled my issue efficiently.
When I reported the leak outside my house, I got an immediate response when they would be able to help, which was only a couple of days. On arrival I was informed that they could not complete the repairs as the footpath had to be dug up. They could not start this for another week but before leaving they checked that the water supply was satisfactory in the house. They came on the day proposed and following the completion, checked everything was satisfactory.
I am not sure what went wrong, communication on the chat was difficult. It may have been due to a weak mobile signal at my end.
it would be helpful if there was more information online in clarifying information for Landlords applying for a water meter telling them that the tenant needs to apply if this is mid tenancy agreement.
I reported a problem of sewage coming from a manhole on my drive first thing in the morning and by 15:00 Jake was at my property and sorted the situation within minutes kept me up-to-date and even took time to disinfect the area after he had finished what a credit to the company, nice one Jake.
When I reported the problem I said the drains were flowing and that there was a bad smell in the downstairs toilet. So the problem as to be somewhere else because my daughter smelt the same smell as she walked down throgmorton rd the road directly behind ours !
