I initially called into the store in Trowbridge to trade in some of my old GameBoy games. The assistant was really helpful and knowledgeable and I got a great price. Picked up some really good games as trade-ins which he helped me choose for my new Switch console, which were also well priced and worked perfectly. Have since bought several more online using my store vouchers. The process is really easy, all items arrive swiftly and well packaged. 5 stars from me for excellent service all round.
Good product and made sure it was delivered quick
Ordered the mini-series and "The Final Battle" of "V" online for collection at a site I was going to be near. When I went to collect, only the former was available. However the site was (and is) still showing two of "The Final Battle" in stock. Annoying as I rarely go near that branch and it's never in stock locally, with postage costing more than the disc.
I have used CEX a few times over the years but last month they sent me a damaged laptop which I promptly returned. I am sadly still out of pocket as they have been 'investigating with Royal Mail' since nearly four weeks ago, despite the fact that the packaging was still in perfect condition upon arrival. I do not agree at all that the customer should be left without neither the money nor the item for this amount of time, as Royal Mail would be reimbursing CEX the value of the laptop, assuming they agree to. I am extremely disappointed and this experience has put me off ordering from them again. I still need to buy another laptop but don't know where else to go and need the funds returned back to me
I ordered a MIDI keyboard controller, it arrived faulty, in order to debug it I ended up buying additional USB cables and a powered USB hub as I'd assumed they are well tested before being listed for sale, but apparently most shops do not have the facility to test MIDI devices due to "security" (so the buyer is expected to take a gamble?), despite them only usually needing only built in drivers, and being testable with any software supporting MIDI input. When I took it back to the local store I did get a refund, but it was pretty inconvenient and cost me money on the extras I needlessly bought.
Disappointed water mobile phone online tell him it was a category a phone sadly did not charge and when I took it back to the Chichester store they even questioned whether it was an eighth grade phone just said it was very helpful and sorted the matter out however, don’t expect to buy phone being told is in mint
