Flies on the buffet food

Our stay was at Holme Lacey House near Hereford. One of the Warner Leisure hotels. We visited the market garden restaurant for breakfast and Dinner when we noticed that the buffet food on the centre stall underneath the skylight window was crawling with green-bottle flies, they were also crawling on the mirror behind our table. For this reason we avoided selecting food from this area so our choice of buffet was limited to hot food only. I believe this was wholly unacceptable and constituted a safety hazard that could have resulted in an illness. We have visited other Warner hotels so much so that we are platinum guests and have never experienced this before.

A
Perfect Stay

I have stayed at 13 of the Warner Sites. Most recently was my 6th stay at Heythrop Park, my favourite of them all. The sheer expanse of the place is breathtaking. With a choice of 3 superb restaurants to dine in and 2 entertainment venues to enjoy visiting acts or the in-house entertainment team, it is the perfect place for a break.

Deteriorating Warner service

Warner have brought in a policy of not servicing rooms the day after arrival. This is appalling. We pay a lot of money to stay at Warner, we should not have to do our own housekeeping. We are disgusted about this new policy.

This was the first stay at The…

This was the first stay at The Runneymede on Thames, we have stayed at many Warner's before. We were welcomed at the reception and given our keys. There is only one small lift which is suppose to hold 6 but when you get wheelchairs in there is not much room even for the carer. Food was not as good as he has been other times and the activities which are now charged for was not good either. Prices had gone up with drinks etc but there was now a service charge on drinks brought to your table. The entertainment was very good and the room was clean and tided each day. We have decided that this would be our last Warner's holiday as we cannot see things getting any betteer

Nice old Stately Hall - poor maintenance, service and management

This was our 1st stay with Warners. At Thoresby Hall. - beautiful Hall, fabulous grounds & estate - reasonable food for a 4* hotel - decent entertainment - but, overall not good - the welcome in reception was poor - despite having a Signature room in the New Buildings it looked tired. The guttering in the entire block leaked - service was very poor. Too few staff, all over worked, in experienced and badly managed - parts of the building looked tatty, in need if maintenance/renovation. Ripped & worn carpets in some areas. Some carpets held together with duct tape. Badly stained and marked sofas/chairs and soft furnishings. Some curtains on old hall ripped and worn - the Bistro restaurant in the evening was badly lit, cold and characterless; odd for such a beautiful room. Needs table lights and more style = we had a relaxing week because of the grounds & space. But not a good experience for reasons given = Warners needs to stop buying new expensive hotels and renovate the established ones. And get them properly staffed = we just cancelled our second, and last Warners break 😞

Easy to book

It was extremely easy and straightforward to make a booking. I was able to find out everything I needed to know, like what entertainment was being offered each night. When thinking of a short break we look at Warner Hotels first as we know it is good value for money with plenty to do. We booked yesterday for our break on 9th February.

First Christmas away from home

First Christmas away from home Able to relax and be looked after. Entertainment, especially in-house was good. Service in restaurant was excellent, we had a wonderful waiter by the name of Taz, and his colleague Igor was equally friendly. Food was good, very tasty and my wife even had fish cooked for her as she didn't want the sauce.

All holidays taken are relaxed enjoyable and good value for money.Extremely easy to book and operative…

Extremely easy to book and operative very knowledgeable and helpful. I have used Warners for breaks over 13 years . Never had any problem that hasn't been sorted immediately problems are rare . We book year to year on every holiday and have travelled to almost every warners available apart from ones close to home. As warners continues to buy more hotels we often try a new venue every year. Would encourage anyone to experience a warner break.

Fantastic time at Littlecote House

Fantastic time at Littlecote House. Clean comfortable rooms and food was lovely and service was great. So we rebooked for a different hotel whilst there.

I'm 60th birthday ready to leave that day. Put in chalet mold paint missing bathroom water over floor. Bed not made dust every where . Manager Paul came down said it was for updating . My response why let out. Moved to room . Not much better ,partner wanted to go home. No entertainment at night. The whole stay. Others there said poor and they where platinum stay. Paul manager fair play he did all he could. We would never go back. If it was NOT for Paul manger we would have left.

Enjoyable experience.

This was a group booking. The individual bedrooms were truly lovely and spacious, with great character. This gave me an enjoyable experience. The entertainment also made a difference in the evening, as there was nothing close by within walking distance to visit. I enjoyed it so much that I made another booking before I left.
