Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Good luck if you need support!

Despite nearly A MONTH of almost daily contact, two store visits, a mailed replacement SIM, and multiple failed eSIM attempts, they have still not restored access to my mobile number, which is critical for my financial accounts. They also refused to provide a PAC code to allow me to leave the network, claiming this can only be sent via SMS. Total joke!

I contacted VOXI through their website…

I contacted VOXI through their website to be offered a new contract. At no point did the agent mention that this would mean I wouldn’t have a VOXI account and would lose my unlimited social media benefit. I have been trying for two weeks to log in for them to say I don’t have an account. Staff were unhelpful and basically said I should have just known, taking no accountability. Wouldn’t recommend

I have been trying to cancel my 10…

I have been trying to cancel my 10 pound monthly plan for a week, I got it in November 2024 in Ireland and have never used it ; it is coming out of my 90 year Mothers account still every month, I am back in Australia (Lawrence Brophy 12/08/1962 used my mothers address 23 Suffolk Crescent Belfast 119jT, can you please please cancel immediately

Truly one of the worst companies to…

Truly one of the worst companies to work with whenever there is a problem. Trying to get a refund is a borderline dead end, and the lack of a customer service centre to call leads to an awful cycle of non-solutions. Negative feedback due to a lack of a dedicated customer service desk.

Not a great start

Ordered my SIM yesterday and received email confirmation that it would arrive today between 8am and 6pm. 6pm came and went with no delivery so I contacted online support who advised to continue waiting, despite the deadline having already passed. The chat automatically disconnected and when I reconnected, a different agent told me that it had in fact been delivered at 6:54 (presumably AM?), so it seems to have been delivered to the wrong address. I asked for proof of delivery but they were unable to provide it, however sent a replacement SIM which will supposedly take 2-3 days to arrive, but with no guarantee it will actually make it to the right address this time either. I’m paying for a service I can’t currently use and the agents refused to acknowledge this. Can VOXI please contact me regarding this as I’ve already wasted so much time on the agents who have given conflicting stories about the delivery. I can’t call the complaints line because you need an active VOXI number to do that.

I've been with Voxi for nearly two…

I've been with Voxi for nearly two years now and I'm still very happy with the service that Voxi delivers, Like anyone else,I do look at other mobile providers out there to see if they are offering better deals but I must confess that Voxi ticks all the right boxes for me, It's great value at £12 a month for unlimited minutes/ text,75GB and unlimited video usage. I've never had an issue with the quality of signal, ok I don't always get 5G but I do always get 4G with my phone. Also I'm not tied down to a contract either,And with the completion of the Three/Vodafone merger I think that things will only get better. My only niggle is,that Voxi don't have an app but the Website provides all the information I need ,so it's not a major flaw.

I think they are deceptive they lure…

I’m really disappointed with how Voxi Drops are handled. One of the main reasons I joined Voxi was because of the perks like Voxi Drops, but it’s been months since I’ve been able to claim one. Every time there’s an offer, it’s gone almost immediately. there are never enough codes for all customers, which makes the whole thing feel misleading. It’s unfair to advertise these benefits when only a small number of people ever get the chance to use them. I expected better, and it’s honestly very disheartening to feel left out over and over again. If these are meant to be customer rewards, they should be available to all customers not just a lucky few.
