Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative…

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Awful

Impossible to deal with as you can't actually speak to anyone over the phone. Returned a phone and Voxi seem unable to process the refund as I am not considered a Voxi customer having returned the phone. Yet you need to be a Voxi customer to speak to anyone or log into your account. Vodafone aren't interested. Issue has been escalated and now waiting on someone to call me within 72 hours which is also what I was promised on Monday. I'm sure Voxi are fine if you don't have any issues but my suggestion is to AVOID

It's funny how they blocked me on…

It's funny how they blocked me on Instagram because I left a comment about how I got scammed! Lol. Awful deceptive company that will steal your money. Edit:- Sorry - you decided to block me on Facebook and Instagram. How ridiculous!? A company blocking an individual because they had a complaint. Ridiculous!? Please avoid voxi at all costs, seriously the coverage is terrible, and if you complain on social media they will just block you. Unbelievable service. Awful. Please avoid voxi.

Absolutely awful side company of…

Absolutely awful side company of Vodafone. The service was awful, either so slow, or nothing would load, the quality of calls were awful, and text messages wouldn't come through till about 10-15 minutes later. Tried asking for support and each support (7 altogether) had zero clue how to help, had zero tech knowledge. I asked for a full refund for the £12 package I bought, and I was told I'd get a full one. They then gave me a £10.40 refund. This company is not only stealing money, have staff that have zero tech knowledge the service is absolutely awful. Wouldn't have even bothered with a review until they stole money. Just stay away. Their massive and cheap inclusive packages are too good to be true. Stay full away.

The price and the coverage is ok but service is v poor

The price and the coverage is ok, but the customer service experience is terrible. Everything is done by chat, and even though you can get through to a human, you can only correspond by chat. When you ask something, they send lots of pre-written text which means you have to scroll back through it to understand it, and because the chat expires after two mins' inactivity, they start sending you something else, which means you lose your place reading the previous thing they sent. Process is very complicated - we think we have renewed but phone still not working and there doesn't seem to be any option to properly speak to a human - even though they are meant to be a phone company! So frustrating and a really poor customer experience. It would be so much easier if (after trying the chat) you could just speak to a real person on the phone. If anyone from the company is reading this, I would really appreciate a phone call to sort this out. I can see that Voxi have kindly replied. below suggesting a phone number, which, when you phone it tells you to go the chat, then hangs up!!!!

Just had the second most excrutiating…

Just had the second most excrutiating ordeal with Voxi on-line chat. Spent over an hour with 2 different reps just to try and get a payment issue sorted. When I asked for a copy of the first chat I was sent round in circles only to finally be disconnected from the 2nd chat! Asked the same questions over and over, told to fill in a form that I could not access and then told to dial 191 which was a voice message that said to use on-line facilities and hung up. I will be moving on!

I ordered a sim from them 3 years ago but I never used it. 6 months ago they started charging me, wich I didn’t notice until now. When I ask for a refund they said I can only be refunded last month and it’s my fault that I didn’t contacted them straight away. Robbing bas****s!!!!!!!! Never give them any of your details, can’t trust them at all!!!

Genuinely awful. Don’t bother.

I ordered a sim to try it. Didn’t even start transferring my number over because I did a speed test and I was getting 30 only, when Three 5G was over 700. They have horrible coverage in my area and slow speed. I reach out on social media to ask for a refund, point blank, i don’t want the sim card, and i’m entitled to a refund in the first 14 days as part of the cooling off period. Whenever anyone replied to me, they were just saying that there are no issues with the coverage in my area instead of acknowledging the fact that I was asking for a refund. They started asking me what kind of device I’m using and if I’ve tried updating my device? yet still not acknowledging that I am asking for a refund. If a customer asks for a refund this should be acknowledged instead of ignored. I had to continuously ask for a refund to even get anywhere and now they are asking me for details such as a memorable word and a pin which I never set up with them. Turns out the “memorable word” is the answer to a security question that I literally selected. These guys don’t even know their own systems or processes. I didn’t set up a Pin when registering for an account, it didn’t ask me to, so how DARE you act like I have to provide details I’ve never given you to get a refund. Genuinely a horrible company with incompetent staff that want to do everything EXCEPT actually provide assistance. I’ll stick with Smarty, thanks for nothing VOXI / Vodafone. Waste of time.
