Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative…

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Took money from my account and didnt…

Took money from my account and didnt fulfill order, painful webchat told me I had placed no order despite 4 emails from Voxi confirming my purchase and telling me would be next day delivery, nearly one week and i still dont have a refund and dont know where to go next. I have just finished my 3rd webchat and feel that im speaking to an ai bot, refused me to speak with a manager

Took over 3 hours to cancel a sim…

Took over 3 hours to cancel a sim plan over VOXI chat. every sentence took few minutes to respond by them. and frequently tell me that they will disconnect when I was waiting for their reply. They asked my credit card cvv number in order to process a refund which feels like a scam. And the person send me link to provide cvv number three times. I think the person made the mistake and send someone else link to me. In the end, they still cannot process a refund. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person Faiyaj disconnected me. when I finally been transfer to the shift manager Anubhav, while he said he was checking my account, I got disconnected again, and no one was picking up the chat ever since. I will try to get the chat transcript and file complaint. VOXI has the worst customer services, avoid it like a plague. I will remeber this experience, and I will not use them. Save yourself, do not go with them in the 1st place.

Don't bother

I ordered a couple of phones from this company. When it didn't arrive after a week of waiting I tried to get it sorted on live chat but they just messed me around for 4 hours. The customer service agents hardly understand English and are completely useless. Avoid at all costs, they will scam you! There's a very good reason why their rating is so low on trust pilot. I should have checked beforehand.... Edit: I knew that Voxi would make as if they are trying to help and go and reply to my review. I am still on live chat at this moment and they are complete s*** waste of time. Don't bother You guys make as if you are happy to asist but when it comes to it you don't give a toss about your customers. SCAMMERS! Ps I'm going to make sure to leave a negative reveiw on every reveie website I can

I don't do Facebook and I've now been in contact with Currys and cancelled the order.

I ordered 2 voxi SIM cards to be delivered to Currys days ago and still nothing. Tried calling Currys and no one answering the phone. Wish I'd stayed with Giffgaff now.

Awful shopping experience and customer service

I ordered a phone on Thursday night on a Black Friday deal and received the confirmation that it would be dispatched on a next day delivery service. I did not hear anything from Voxi so I contacted them Monday evening. As others have mentioned, there is no customer service number, the chat bot is useless and finally when you get through to a human customer service agent, they are not native English speakers. Despite numerous attempts at explaining that I have an order confirmation email, the agent kept telling me that I didnt have an order and didnt want to know about my order confirmation email. I was asked to re-place the order but the cheeky agent tried to upsell me another phone instead of the phone I ordered at the Black Friday deal price. I have since learnt that they continued selling this phone on Friday, so if there was an issue with my order they could have contacted me and they would have still been able to fulfil the order. Terrible customer service with no-one with the authority to provide any genuine help. I wouldnt recommend choosing Voxi over more reputable networks or retailers.

I travel a lot

I travel a lot, specially through countryside. Coverage is horrible, and even if it's there download speeds outside cities are terrible. Comparing, my friend with "double lettered network provider" has almost no problems The prices ok thats why is gave it 3 stars. Otherwise would give 1, maybe 2

Unhelpful Customer Services

Customer services was extremely disorganised. I'm a new customer with Voxi having left 3 mobile, I ordered a sim card which never arrived so contacted them, they confirmed it had been delivered but could give me NO information what so ever in regards to who signed for it, what time, or even a POD image. I was advised it was delivered via DPD, only to find out at the end of the conversation that was wrong and it was Royal Mail, therefore a replacement sim was organised to be sent to me. Fast forward 1 hour, the sim card arrived with Royal Mail! I contacted them immediately to cancel the replacement sim so I could proceed with the set up of the sim card that had just arrived, only to be told that I needed to wait for the replacement to be delivered for me to throw it in the bin and then proceed with the setup of the sim card just delivered. Total waste of time for the courier company and Voxi themselves having to organise this. I can't yet comment on the actual sim card or the signal in my area as I can't set up my sim card currently, but so far the customer service hasn't been great and I've been quite disappointed so far with the service received, I just find it extremely odd that they couldn't provide me with tracking information, proof of delivery, name or time of whom my sim card was signed for, but I guess that was because it was never delivered in the first place giving it turned up an hour later! Update; The replacement sim card arrived, I contacted voxi to set up the original sim card, as I was instructed to dispose of the replacement one, turns out I needed the replacement one as this is what I had to use, rather than the original! Finally sorted transferring over my new number which will be done within 24 hours, I have never known buying a new sim card to be so confusing and chaotic!! I ask a simple question from the advisors and it's like getting blood out of a stone to get an answer from them. I'd think twice before taking out another contract with them again personally!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. It can't not be worst to be honest. There is no phone number, just a chat with a person that has very l power to do nothing. I was charged twice for 2 months £10, total £40 for I don't know what. They told me that they can't find my account because my email is not recognised. They have no other way to identify me than the email. After insisting to be helped, they asked me for a screenshot my statement and uploaded. The upload system doe snot work in Chrome. I select the file and nothing happens. so they tell me that I have to contact Vodaphone. I told them that I did and they told me to contact Voxi. Then the customer service person tells me to go to Vodaphone with my bank statement and my ID. I think I have been scammed as I have not paid for no service but Voxi can't help me. Great company

hopelessly unprofessional…

Voxi is a hopelessly unprofessional organisation. Bought a SIM card July. It sat in its card til yesterday. I then found I’d been charged since end of October for the sim card which I’d never used and which was never activated. They must be able to see it’s not been used! The agents are in another country and English is so poor sometimes they just don’t understand the basics of an issue. Won’t refer you to a manager who might be able to help. In the end there’s nothing for it but the ombudsman! Will never use Voxi again. Update: Voxi has still not resolved their overcharging issue despite seeming as if they would attempt to here in the public domain.
