Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative…

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Great 5G Voxi

I've put a SIM in my 5G M6 Pro router and I get 432Mbps dl & 32.8Mbps ul. I got a £15 SIM offering 140MB instead of 35MB. So far all of my data comes out of the unlimited apps allowance. I was on Lebara but for some reason Lebara cut my 5G dead and only allow 4G. So well done Voxi. CMS. Leeds.

Incredibly unprofessional company that…

Incredibly unprofessional company that steals your money. Ordered a phone as a gift but it was returned unopened, still waiting on a refund over a month after the phone was received by them. Have been lied to time after time over 5 or 6 web chats and still over a month later there is no refund to my credit card. Quite simply thieves.

I recieved my sim card followed the instructions to register sim typed the 10 digit sim number then I asked me to choose a plan and took my bank details 2 days later sim is still no activated and the voxi site didn't prompt me to make an account so I don't even know how I can cancel it now:(

DONT USE VOXI

DONT USE VOXI - I had a great plan with them and enjoyed their product for 4 years, but they really don’t value loyalty like other phone networks. My debit card expired and the payment declined - without any decent warning they cut my service (on Christmas Eve!) and are now demanding I pay £30 a month for a service I previously paid £12 a month for. The customer support is useless and they don’t seem to care about the situation at all. Thanks for a nice 4 years VOXI - switching to EE now. Merry Christmas xoxo

Would rate this a zero if I could ( Update)

the website never seems to work properly they're always filled with bug alerts or server issues which have left me standard abroad. Customer service is useless, they suggested I call the fraud line after I told them multiple times I dont have a plan because I cannot login. The only good thing about this network is there offers. When I called the service line ran by Vodafone a robot said voxi has webchat then said goodbye without help ( Update: To be fair now, I had my issue fixed it did take alot of repeating myself but for the monthly price you pay it is worth it and the coverage it is good)

So after being requested by Voxi to…

So after being requested by Voxi to contact them again I did so, three times in the last 24 hours. Each time they disconnected the link and I was left hanging, with the normal auto message "we have not heard from you for some time". What a load of BS. I have had this difficulty with this network for 18 months but after they suggested I change my settings the problem only got worse. I even changed my phone thinking that was the problem but no still have no date connection. No customer service apart from disconnect and shit network on the back of Vodafone. Avoid if you can.

Unbeatable phone deal.

I actually didn't realise Voxi did phones as well as SIM plans, and was in the process of leaving as I wanted a new phone, but then spotted they did the phone I wanted, and with interest free payments too. The phone was delivered the next day, and with their amazing 140gb deal, I've saved myself at least 15 pounds a month on any other deal out there! Unbeatable.

Refusing To Refund Cancelled Order

Purchased a phone from VOXI and a sim only plan. Decided I no longer wanted the device so rejected the parcel delivery, DPD marked the delivery as refused and it showed as being returned to sender. 2 weeks later, VOXI still failed to refund the phone. Reached out, VOXI advised the handset hadn’t reached them and therefore the phone could not be refunded until such time they received it. As VOXI arranged the delivery, the issue is between VOXI and DPD and the customer is not liable for missing parcels once refused. However VOXI didn’t want to acknowledge this which left me having to perform a chargeback. Within 24 hours of raising the case with PayPal, they found the case in my favour and refunded the balance. Absolutely appalling service by VOXI, will not use them again and would recommend others against doing so.

The worst webchat

I've been a happy customer with VOXI for some time, however recently since adding my wife to the network I realised my experience was just luck. Her number was meant to be transferred on the 18th and we are still waiting. There has be no confirmation of progress or completion and now her number is inactive. The bot VOXI use is horrendous, every time you feed it information the thing immediately thinks you want to exit and the moment you finally get the "Chat to a Human" option, the button does nothing. Now my wife is stuck with no access to her phone number and we have missed some important calls, with no way to get in touch with a human at VOXI to tell us what has happened with the number transfer. Update: 21/12/2024 After much time wasted, we managed to contact VOXI and they blamed the issue to a technical glitch with there porting system. Yet not once did they bother to inform us of this issue and now the sim card has no service. 3 days now without any service and very little support from VOXI. Update: 12/01/2024 I as promised working service on 24/12/2024 and nothing, then again on 03/01/205, still nothing, then again on 06/01/2025 and you guessed it, nothing. By 08/01/2025, all patience was lost and I demanding explanation. It took there "technical" team, "customer" service and "supervisor" all this time to resolve the issue they caused, only to blame my previous provider and for them to say my compensation demands were unreasonable, what a joke of a network.

Completely avoid - read the small print

Customer service is dreadful, they said I couldn't cancel a sim without returning the phone I had bought and sim together. I never received the sim and these were two separate orders with different order numbers. Apparently this is hidden in the small print. I am also unable to log into my Voxi account to cancel as I needed a number which is sent to the Voxi SIM which I don't have. Customer service have told me twice over the past month that I will be refunded. I have only recently found out that these refunds have been blocked by someone else within the company and guess what they sent a notification of this to the phone number of the SIM I never received. I asked for a complaint to be raised but this has been refused and the complaints line only deals with people with a Voxi number. Remember I have never received a SIM. Please avoid this company or you will have an appalling customer service experience if you run into any issues. Update Thanks for the quick reply below. I have used this way of contacting you now over three times (via the chat service) but now have no confidence in someone resolving the situation. Perhaps if someone was able to email me using the details provided I could provide more details but I'm under the impression that you are just trying to appear helpful without providing any actual help.
