Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative…

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Absolutely hopeless

Honestly this is the worst phone company. I overlooked the couple times they didn’t send me my data roaming add ons I’d paid for. Whilst trapped in an airport with a toddler. But this time they authorised payments on my account that I wasn’t aware of. Refused to refund them and instead gave me a ‘free’ months contract. They cancelled my account on Christmas Day. Leaving me with no way of contacting anyone. When I tried to get hold of voxi they claimed id failed security even though I gave the exact same answers I always give every time I have an issue with them! (A lot) I ended up having to change providers and number. Now have a whole plethora of issues, locked out of many accounts, missed doctors phone calls as I was never able to get a PAC code. Avoid avoid avoid (Oh and even in the middle of Cambridge city centre there would NEVER be any phone service. Constantly on emergency!)

Overcharged

I bought a sim card when I lost my phone but i didn't need to use it in the end. I tried to cancel but didn't have any luck so paid for it for 3 months in a row. When i finally managed to speak to a customer advisor on live chat they would only refund one month of payment as they only refund payments taken in the last 3 days. Trying to contact customer service felt like a bit of a maze, there was no option to email.

I beg you please fire whoever is in charge of your website

I ve had voxi for 5+ years and while their coverage and bundles are decent, i have never gone on their website, not even once, and had a smooth experience. In all these years, every single time, there is an error, or some delay, or the same payment type i ve been using for ages suddenly is not working. And the customer service is so out of the loop, they have no idea what is happening. Whoever designed your website is doing such a poor job! You can probably hire some students that are better at this. It’s wild how basic buttons simply dont work

So bought a sim

So bought a sim, went to activate, the sum number not accepted... So after a lot of looking, trying the online chat which is a bot and useless, I thought OK, buy another sim... Guess what, that doesn't work, it said the sim was produces SEP24, so it's not old, just voxi is rubbish, half the links on the activation page do not work. You have zero support with them, who knows why they sell the sims if they're no use and you can't activate them.

Atrocious customer service

Transferring a number over from Vodafone to VOXI has been on the most hollowing experiences I have ever had. I've been on phone calls with Vodafone all day trying to move my number over to VOXI and they tell me to use VOXI's chat services online (which don't work). Half the links on their site for help don't even work and when I finally got through with their X account, they said to call up Vodafone. I feel that any issues will just be passed around in the future. I have no idea why a company has no communication within itself between different branches. It's absolutely insane and would not recommend at all.

Poor customer service

Attempted to cancel my contract as I wasn't able to log into my account. I had to re explain my situation multiple times as every message sent another agent would reply, so no consistency. Very stressful service, would not recommend to anyone at all.

They Lied

The told me the contract will work on iPad. It doesn’t. They told me I needed a text message before I could cancel the contract but the iPad does not receive text messages. They said there was no other way to cancel the contract. They said I would loose my first months payment despite notifying them on the same day that I took out the contract that I wanted to cancel it.

My MIL has recently switched over to…

My MIL has recently switched over to you from Vodafone. The reason she switched over to you was so she could phone the Republic of Ireland’s from England. She had a nightmare with the PAC code, then now she can’t use her phone altogether, even though her number has transferred over. This is an absolute joke ! No customer service, no support. I will be making a complaint to the Ombudsman.

Account almost impossible to log into 🤷‍♂️

Forget the speeds you may or may not get, it is almost humanly impossible to log into my account to to either upgrade or downgrade it. Search online, they haven’t fixed this issue for years (allegedly) 😷
