Poor customer service

Can't believe a simple process of getting started with a SIM could be made so difficult. The initial information with the SIM indicated that once it was in the phone and registered it would take 24 hours to activate. After 24 hours it hadn't so contacted them through the Chatbot and was advised it takes up to 48 hours. It activated after 54 hours, other SIM's I have used take an hour at most. Not liking the service I decided to cancel, another process that is not straight forward. If you cancel then the contract is not cancelled until you use your STAC with another provider. I wasn't going to use the STAC. You can't remove your payment card from your account unless you contact them. I ended up pausing my contract and will let it time out over the 6 months timing out period. Everything about Voxi is designed to make it difficult for the customer.

I'm shocked at reading all the negative…

I'm shocked at reading all the negative reviews. Been with Voxi for a good few years now after deciding to avoid expensive contracts and to buy my phones outright. I've had no issues at all with Voxi and only had to speak to them when I first moved to them, which must have been over 4 years ago. You get great sim only deals and they are essentially Vodafone, so you're getting a great network as well. You can also keep an eye on the website, and if a new plan comes along that offers more, usually always at the same price you're already paying, you simply purchase a new plan, which I've literally just done. I would take the negative views as a pinch of salt. Voxi are fine and I was happy with customer service when I did speak to them, but that was many years ago. The fact I don't need to call customer service shows I've had no issues.

Voxi – Surprisingly Excellent Value with Solid Performance

’ve been using Voxi for a while now and honestly, it’s been a genuinely great experience all round. The 5G speeds are fast and reliable, especially in London — no lag, no buffering, no dropped signals, just seamless connectivity whether I’m on the tube platform or walking through central. Even when I travel around the UK, coverage holds up really well. For a low-cost network, it punches way above its weight. Sure, it’d be great if EU roaming was included, but even then, paying £10 for 60GB of data is an absolute no-brainer. The value you get is hard to beat, especially with unlimited social media usage on top. It just works. No fuss, no hidden charges, no nonsense. Voxi might be low-cost, but it doesn’t feel budget — and that’s rare. Highly recommended.

Awful customer service and plan

Awful customer service and plan. Customer service used to be good but now it's bey poor with lots of copy and paste answers where they don't actually read the issues you are having. They also don't have a contact number to ring on so you HAVE to deal with the poor customer service online. Also I got a plan with 60gb and they are telling me I have ran out of data even though this isn't true when looking at my usage. When I tried to raise this with CS they wouldn't address this. Also the "perks" (in quotation marks as they are hardly perks) are very poor compared to other providers. Also the free social data seems like a con - quite from CS when I said social data was being included in my overall usage - "for you to enjoy unlimited social media data whilst using WhatsApp means you should have normal data for it to work and that depletes your data.". So basically saying that using WhatsApp (which is meant to be free data), will in fact actually deplete it.

Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid avoid avoid. They've been taking my money even though I never received or activated the sim and previously cancelled the service via chat. Resolving this has been a pain with the chat function being very slow and timing out every couple of minutes. When I requested for an email confirming cancellation and the refund, I was told they can not provide this. All I have to go on is screenshots from the chat. They cannot even provide a basic confirmation. This should be illigal. Avoid!

cheaper monthly deals are a scam

As soon as I got a cheaper monthly package my internet completely drops off for hours or even a whole day and suddenly I don’t get any coverage in my area. Nice try!

No PAC CODE provided from SMS

I think every mobile network provider will give the PAC code immediately except this VOXI. Is terrible experience

Recently quit Voxi after nearly 6 years…

Recently quit Voxi after nearly 6 years of being a customer. Their customer service has always been poor, and has worsened recently both in terms of quality and availability. I finally decided to move after I saw that they were offering their best long term deals to new customers only. I asked them if I could also move to a better deal as it's only fair that customers that have been with the company for years also get these plans. They of course said no. So essentially you are taken for a fool if you stay with them for a long time. The rude customer service agent told me I could move elsewhere if I wanted and he could tell me how to get a PAC code. How thoughtful! Even getting my credit back from them was a long and tiring process. Anyway, have moved to another provider now, and my only regret is that I didn't leave Voxi sooner.

Wish I could rate this company 0 zero…

Wish I could rate this company 0 zero stars because my experience has been beyond dismal! I bough a package earlier this year- onboarding was shocking- didn’t even end up switching because of it- randomly they debit my account yesterday. I don’t even use VOXI why are they debiting my account???? Stay away!

Waiting over a month for a refund !!!

Worst customer services experiences ever. Always being fobbed off. Phone ordered on 8th Nov Returned on 15th Nov Confiremd received by Vodafone and signed for by Pip Hoy on 19th Nov Live chat with Voxi on 6th Dec confirming a return was being processed and a team from Voxi had been in contact on 21st November by email ro "Email will be sent to the customer next working day to ask them to contact us to process the refund", and no such email was ever received, including in spam/junk. Reconfirmed they had all correct contact details. Was told team will be in touch again within 5 days to process refund. No such contact at all. 16th Dec 5.15pm - Live chat again, fobbed off by rep called Saurabh when asked to be put through to a manager for help after he stated it takes 30 days for a refund - he did not even look into the account or take any details. Told me to visit a local Vodafone store and take it up with them and then closed the chat !!!! 16th Dec 5.30pm - tried Live Chat again - more helpful rep - looked into the account - said he cannot look into why refund has not been made and asked for me to call: "03333040172 they are called as Moto refund team, I am unable to share the exact refund details, as I am unable to access it here, so to get the exact refund detail, please get in touch with the team, and I am pretty sure you will get your refund soon by connecting with the team." The team is only avaialable from 8am to 4pm, so will try there tomorrow. But in summary would not ever think of doing business with this company ever again, even if they are part of vodafone. My payment for the phone was taken within 30 mins of placing order, so how they can justify 30 days to make the refund is beyond me !!!

We got a great deal on a new phone from them. It was promptly delivered and arrived well packaged and in good condition. They gave us great service and for this reason they seem like a very honest, trustworthy and reputable company!

Steady service provider

Steady service provided, voxi drop is a bonus. I think if the service improves & they get an app it would drastically improve the overall experience. Noticed that they have just rolled out Esims too which is a positive move.

Very poor internet speed in my area…

Very poor internet speed in my area (Spalding Lincolnshire) and not even in this town which is a village, in all villages across the uk the signal is very low sometimes the internet not working at all. I was with voxi for about 5 years, but now i'm deciding to move in another network.
