This company is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!
This company is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!!! My family and I recently evacuated from New Orleans due to hurricane Ida. We were originally told that utilities would not be restored for about one month, so I booked a rental home in Gulf Shores, AL so my family had a place to stay. Thankfully, utilities were restored in our area much sooner than expected. I tried calling Turnkey to request a cancellation and refund to which they told me I would need to get approval from Airbnb (who I booked through). I contacted Airbnb about it and they told me they understood the situation and would be fine issuing a refund as long as the host company (Turnkey) would approve it. I then went back-and-forth with Turnkey probably around eight times trying to get approval for the refund and cancellation. Not only did they lie about not receiving a request from Airbnb, but they continued to pass the buck and say that it was Airbnb‘s fault, which it was not. I also explained to them that my husband is active duty military and had received orders from his command to return to work. Even with this they didn’t care. I also contacted Turnkey several times to try and get a supervisor to call me back. Nobody ever did. This company lies and does not care one bit about people. I will NEVER rent any home that is managed by them EVER again!! Update: I just received a reply to my review. Of course, they seemed very apologetic for the issues that we were having, yet NO ONE has reached out to me to try to make things right. The only email that I received was one once again stating that they would not be willing to issue any kind of refund even given the circumstances of having to be evacuated and being active duty military. Once again, do not use this company to book any vacation rental whatsoever! They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and don’t care at all about people, only making money!
