I had an intimidating and stressful experience from Travis Perkins Taunton driver. Met the lorry head on in a country lane, he could have easily manoeuvred to let me past but instead I had to reverse my car round a tight bend on a steep hill resulting in damage to my car. This left me stranded with no form of transport and huge garage bill . I made a complaint but received no apology from the driver, the incident was clearly a source of amusement to Travis Perkins. One star as it is not an option to have zero stars.
Absolute shocking service and wasting time, went into store on Monday the 29th July to place the order and get them delivered for next day delivery which I was happy about it, got told it was gone first thing in morning as the driver was coming from Blackpool store as there was non left in kirkham store, no delivery showed up rang up the store got told it would be lunch time, still no show up rang up store again which then I got told it would be afternoon got a text message it would get delivered between 2:30 and 4:30 and I was on n ordered lists 7/9 checked an hour later got moved to the last delivery which didn’t even turn on time and only turned up just before 6pm which then I got told my flags aren’t even up on trailer, so all these time scheduled they told and then getting driver turning up with no flags not wasting my time but me paying my 2 of lads out of my pocket for them sat around and waiting for delivery all day costed me money, next morning gone and rang up the branch manager told them the whole situation which then got told he was gone find out and ring me back and let me know what happened an hour later never rang me back had to chase my self AGAIN which then getting told the driver done wrong orders for then telling me they will keep me update and let me know what happening which then I AGAIN i had to chase it up my self then finding out I’ve been put down as last person to get delivered even tho the day before they kept changing times, then getting told it was gone get delivered between 2 and 4 still no show up rang the branch getting told it was gone be another hour to wait, the worse customer services could experience knowing the store has messed up not even bother updating me and had to ring my self and chase them all this time and getting told different information it a beyond a joke and costing me money to pay my lads just because TRAVIS PERKINS can’t sort it out barely been getting apologies and branch manager has just been avoiding me to speak to me and not even been offered any compensation or anything will not be shopping with them anymore after 5+

Initially went in to look at paving flags. Got talking to a chap called Glen who was in the kitchens, he did do us some prices but didn’t have what we were looking for in warehouse, himself and a lovely lady did show me some stuff online they could order but we really wanted to see them in the flesh! However he did manage to sort us with new doors for our daughters flat, they’re in now and look fab so big thanks! Lovely guy, great service! Hi Amy it was Leeds elland road as I put originally! :)
Excellent Service Wood Street Walthamstow. Counter staff gave excellent advice to us regarding floor works including materials, equipment and best value. Fork lifter driver extremely helpful on loading materials. Supper professional and friendly.
Ease of ordering through the Branch at Tain. Very helpful staff esp Yvonne the manager who helped identify the correct product. Dave the driver was great re delivery and product offloaded where requested.
Price, speed of delivery and Frank the driver is super helpful! So why 4 not 5 - well for some reason Travis prices are amongst the worst as advertised online but among the best if you negotiate. This is irritating and I don't always have time to go through the process and do buy elsewhere where prices are as shown and I need to buy faster. BTW this is sutton branch Frank.
Not impressed. The ordering and arranging delivery appeared smooth. Asked me to select a delivery day. Goods didn't appear. I gave it a couple of days until I called. Then advised that I wasn't allowed to select a delivery day and that they would try to deliver a week later than I'd originally agreed. I am trying to cancel the order right now and order it elsewhere. It was a small order £380 but it us the start of a major project. I only live 1/2 mile from the depot but seemingly they gave an agency driver this week. I really didn't need that information, I just needed the £380 worth of goods that I've paid for.
Removed our 10k credit facility for no reason. We'd always paid on time and did not owe any money.
I would like to thank Paul Brown of the Swinfon branch for his help today. It took much longer than I expected, however, he was both courteous and helpful throughout. This was at the Dunbeath Road branch
I recently purchased building materials for a DIY project from T Perkins. The delivery was prompt with good communication throughout and the delivery driver was really friendly and helpful. I received my delivery on the Friday ready for my building project Saturday. Upon opening the first two bags of concrete I found that half of the bag had already set. This prompted me to check the rest. By this stage, I've already started pouring concrete! I found that most of the bags had already set and some of them had completely set. At £11.40 a bag plus my time to drive back to TP to exchange them makes this extremely frustrating. Even the bags I exchanged had began to set. Why on earth keep concrete bags stored outside in the rain? Not happy with Travis Perkins nor the money I have spent for awful supplies! The only positive is that your staff are a credit to you!
Phil at the TAUNTON branch - extremely helpful, professional with a definite "can do" attitude. We thank you arranging a prompt delivery of a mini-digger when we had been let down, you saved the day!

Helpful staff who provide a good service. Products at a reasonable price.
On entry, one of the staff members had his feet up on the steering wheel of a forklift, browsing the internet on his phone. The same staff member, when he actually realised there was a customer on site, shouted me down and asked if he can help me. I was a bit startled by his approach l, and he explained some process about staff logging a ticket before a customer enters the grounds. I told him that has never happened before when I have been there on numerous occasions. Every thing seemed relatively fine at that point. When I told him I was just looking around, he then decided to tell me that he was "confused" because people normally come here for something. I then told him I was looking at buying some wood sleepers, to which he proceeded to show me where they were. The same staff member continued to say he is "confused" at why i just want to look and said" if I'm not going to buy anything then I should not be here". He then walked off and a female colleague took over. At that point I understood there is a health and safety policy in place and that staff members need to follow it so there are no issues around that. However, the staff members approach to customer service was very questionable as he presented as quite hostile towards me just because I wanted to look around. I was approached again by the female staff member who asked me if I needed any help. I laughed out of disbelief as she just witnessed what had happened and I said to her that her colleague clearly pretended not understand me even though I spoke English and kept pretending to be confused for some reason and was rude to me. The serious concern and the main point of my complaint is the staff member's approach as he continued to berate me and became verbally aggressive , to the point where he told me to "f** off". His female colleague was present and she said " both of you need to calm down", even though it was clear her colleague had been rude towards me. The other staff member continued to direct profanities at me, which is just beyond unprofessionalism. I have reported this issue to staff member called Michael (who actually seemed quite shocked at the behaviour) and expect the matter will be dealt with internally. Overall, this staff member is clearly a liability to Travis Perkins as I will be escalating the incident to head office.
Elland Road Branch - I don’t often do this but wanted to praise the team at Elland Rd branch. Tony the delivery driver was super friendly and helpful and wasn’t deterred by the difficult access to my site ( others I’m sure would have headed back to the depot) and Rich in the office provided friendly and knowledgeable advice on the kit. In future I will always call these guys first. I can’t praise them highly enough
