The Website is misleading, and customer service is a stone wall. DO NOT use this website. Believe all the reviews. They're terrible.

It's beyond annoying and unprofessional to contact customer support that can barely speak English, yawning in the middle of a conversation while listening to kitchen dishes, pots and pans noises and car horns in the background. Just an unbelievable experience. Felt as if I was in the middle of some third world country. Highly NOT recommended.
Very bad experience. I can understand it was COVID19 Cancellation but why you booked ticket on your platform when other platforms where unable to book due to covid. Its seriously the fraud that you booked on your own by taking payment from us and not refunding
When France prohibited travelers from UK, we had to cancel our flight because we were flying into Heathrow and then to france several days later. Travelocity has consistently told me my credit is $2100 per passenger but the credit they have emailed me show $1700 per passenger credit. Then, I was unable to get to Paris for Christmas like we had planned because no one at Travelocity could access the credit and schedule a flight with it. They kept telling me to contact Virgin. I held on the phone for Virgin for more than 2.5 hours - TWICE! Each time the airline advised me that I had to go through Travelocity as they were my travel agent. So, I had $8500 in credit but could not use it AT ALL. So, my family and i had to cancel our flight to Paris for Christmas. VERY DISSAPOINTING for my two kids and my husband and me. Then, after crying for several hours that my dream trip would not be, i tried to schedule our trip for the summer when my kids were not in school. Travelocity couldn't even help me with that. They said they had to "take this up" and someone would get back to me within 72 hours. Yea - I am not holding my breath. I am sure I have several more days of dealing with their "customer service" in trying to get my airline credits scheduled even when there is 6 months before I want to travel. Bottom line - DO NOT USE TRAVELOCITY FOR FLIGHTS.
I will never use Travelocity again. When I had to cancel a flight, I respect the fact that due to the deep discount I was unable to receive a refund. What was insulting was that in using their website, they gave the impression that canceling the flight could mean that a leg of the flight was not canceled. Their website is obscuring and difficult to use, so in double-checking my cancelation, I accidentally canceled my flight insurance. I learned this by speaking to a live person after over 2 hours of waiting (total). When I reached a person after the first 30 minutes, the background noise was so loud, I think her office was in a warehouse, then when she "transferred" me, she hung up. The recorded message warns you that it will be a 45-minute wait. So after the second wait, someone got on the phone 40 minutes later and told me the bad news that nothing was refundable and that I had canceled my insurance. Yeah, this was fun. Lucky for me, the hotel, warned me not to use the package, or I would have been out $2,000 instead of $700. I still had over a month before the trip. I did not use profanity, but I did raise my voice.
Horrible. Torture. Don't use Travelocity. Book directly with airlines and hotels. Travelocity tortured me which made me finally give up and forfeit my airfare. Never again. You don't gain anything by dealing with them. All you do is add a nightmarish middleman into your booking.
I was not able to fly because of COVID restrictions no flying. The only thing they could do is credit me for the flights. When the restrictions were lifted, I tried to use my credit, agent could not find it. However, got an email saying my credit would expire 3/31/2022 via email.
I went through Travelocity to obtain a rental car in Orlando (MCO). I specifically requested to pick up a rental at the airport. I was disappointed to find out that they booked with a company that was off sight. They booked with Nu/Action Car Rental. Since I prepaid, I could not cancel the contract. They provided a number to call once you arrived at the airport to be picked up. It was a recorded message instructing customers where to go in the airport to get the shuttle. The shuttle didn't arrive for at least 45 minutes. Once I arrived at the rental lot, people were standing around and no one provided instruction on what/where to go. I wandered into a small trailer where I met with a rep. He went over the paperwork and tried to sell me travel insurance, a toll package, and a cleaning service for the car. Yup, you read that right. They offered a pre-paid cleaning plan for $25 or $50 if it is returned uncleaned. I declined everything they offered. I did not like being pressured to get things I didn't need or want. I informed the rep that I had my own Sunpass, to which he informed me that it would not work. He said I had to use their toll service, as it is scanned by the car's tag and not my Sunpass. I reviewed the Sunpass site and found information on adding a rental to your account and providing the days of service. I was able to bypass their toll and use my Sunpass. The rep was either being deceptive or misinformed. When I was leaving the trailer I was met with a lady who had a stand just outside the door. She asked what I had planned to do while in Florida. I felt uncomfortable discussing my plans with a stranger. She was very persistent. I replied that I had planned to visit family. She asked if I wanted to visit the parks. I said no. I realized she was trying to sell me timeshare. I told her that I was tired and just wanted to get the car. She directed me to a young girl. The girl handed me a table with an illustration of a car and gave me a key and instructed me to circle areas on the screen where I found damage on the car. I asked if someone would bring the car to me. She replied that I had to look for the car in the dark parking lot. I asked how was I to do this, she said to push the panic button on the key. I wandered around the lot pushing the button with my luggage trying not to fall on the gravel pavement. Luckily, an employee saw me struggling and assisted me. He pointed me in the direction of the car. It was very dark and there were no lamp posts. I drove the car up to the front of the trailer where there was light. The car was badly damaged. The rear bumper had dents and a lot of scratches, the passenger side had dents, and the front right and left fender had parts that looked as though they were put on, but didn't fit properly. It was obvious this car had been in an accident. I was too tired to complain. I marked the damages and as I was walking back to give the tablet back, the young girl remarked, "oh there she is, finally." Wow! As I was driving the car to my destination, I was at a stoplight to adjust the rearview mirror and it fell off in the middle console. Thank God I was at a light, who knows what would have happened had I been driving. I was able to slide the mirror back on the clap. I continued to drive, as I was only a few miles from my destination and didn't want to turn around. It was late. The next day I went outside to re-inspect the car. I noticed the back seat on the passenger side had these white stains all over the seat and it looked as though a soda had exploded as it was brown stains inside the interior of the roof. I have the rental for 3 more days. I plan to take it to the carwash and have it disinfected before I return it. I don't want to be charged $50. I hope I don't have issues when I return the car. I've read other reviews on Yelp and most people have left negative reviews for Nu/Action Car Rental. Please don't make the mistake I made. I hope that Travelocity sever ties with this company. It appears that most people have experienced the same issues or worse.
I hadn't used Travelocity in a while. But wow things have changed. Customer service is a mess. My flight out of Casablanca was cancelled due to a COVID country-wide shutdown, but the Travelocity site said it was still confirmed. I called customer service and they said the flight was still confirmed in their system and that I should go to the airport. Thankfully I was able to get through to the airline late at night and they confirmed the flight was cancelled. Stay away from Travelocity, they used to be a good company - Not anymore.
I needed to make some changes on a vacation package that included flight, hotel, and driver. I called Travelocity and the representative, Nurhan Isman was great. She was very patient and helpful. Definitely deserves some recognition.
I recently booked two round trip tickets for my son and myself from Providence to LAX. The confirmation email did not include my son and when I investigated I found my name on both tickets. Travelocity told me I could not change the name on one ticket to my sons as the flight is non transferable. So… I had to purchase ANOTHER round trip ticket at a $300 increase from the original cost. I have tried to speak to someone at Travelocity but get virtual agents, disconnections and no answers. I’m trying to get a refund on the duplicate ticket and am told I can’t. They are working on getting me a credit but there maybe a fee associated with the cancellation I want my money refunded on the duplicate ticket as well as the flight credit I used to purchase the ticket. Lastly I want the difference in cost I paid for the “ new” ticket for my son. This experience has been atrocious and speaks volumes of their customer service. Their agent completely ruined my confidence in Travelocity and I’m stuck with an extra ticket I can’t get refunded plus I had to get another ticket that was very costly.
I booked an expensive flight with Travelocity in September and the flight was cancelled soon after. I was given the option to cancel the booking and get a refund which I did. I am still waiting fro the refund and pay high interest on my credit card for the flight charge. I have called and emailed numerous times and get the same answer that they are working on it. Almost 3 months and nothing - pathetic!
Travelocity will say they are working on issues you are having with a hotel, but will not try. I ended up paying double and Travelocity will not refund or give me credit for another trip. Customer service is bad and it is a hassle to even get to customer service. Stay away from this service! Nothing but headaches from this company.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would! Tried to book a flight with a credit I had and got an error message online saying "Something went wrong, please try again".. so I decided to book with Southwest (which I normally always do). The next day I see the confirmation for the flight that didn't go through. I call to have the flight voided and my credit returned only to get a complete run-around! The rep told me she did what I asked her to do, but no confirmation email was ever received. Called again the next day and was told over and over that I contacted the hotel customer service (when I for certain called the flight customer service). One rep hung up on me and another sounded like she was half asleep in bed. Don't ever use this service if you want to get your money back!!!
DO NOT TRUST OR DO BUSINESS WITH TRAVELOCITY. They are thieves. Booked a room for two nights at Harrahs in Atlantic City. They charged us for the two nights but only paid Harrahs for one of the nights. We had to pay Harrahs ourselves at a higher rate for the 2nd night. Travelocity will not refund the 2nd night according to their "terms & conditions". THEY ARE THIEVES.
They get an A from me ... Atrocious, Abysmal, Awful, Appalling ... take your pick. I love their TV ads with the two ladies wearing ill-fitting clothes (four sizes too big and six inches too short). The catch line is "we got you". They sure did, I can feel it whenever I sit down. Long story short, they take zero responsibility for any of the flights you book through them. They'll just direct you to call the airline and figure it out yourself ... but only after you have wasted hours speaking with improperly trained and incapable staff.
I used this site to book a trip to Hawaii and then I had to cancel due to covid... No worries they said I could use the trip for another trip. Which worked out well but I still had money left so I waited to book another flight. It was bad!! they couldn't find anything. I was put on hold for a very long time and was disconnected 3 times. Then they canceled my booking and I had to rebook because of an error on their side which cost me more money in the end.
Refused to honor a $50 gift card we received. Gave us the run around for weeks before telling us, “they’re not honoring gift cards at this time.” Avoid Travelocity. A deceptive business with atrocious customer service.
io mai piu viaggio con questa agenzia.
Booked a room through them. Not only were there dead roaches, but it had some kind of bug droppings in the bed, my guess is either roaches or bed bugs. I even checked to make sure it was feces by mixing a sample with water and watching it smear. Cockroaches or bed bugs, either way I am not sleeping with them. I was told I would be refunded by the front desk, returned the key, and left (literally left to sleep in my car rather than risk bed bugs biting me, or roaches crawling on me). After contacting support several times and being promised a refund by Ramada, the manager changed their mind over 4 days later. I contacted support 3 times and each time was told there wouldn't be a problem and to just wait for the confirmation. Instead of making things right and refunding me, travelocity kindly told me to f*** off, siding with the hotel. What is the point of booking with a middleman if they middle man offer absolutely zero protection. On top of that travelocity didn't even schedule my booking correctly, even though I filled out my own information somehow my reservation was in my Fiancee's name (probably because I was using her computer and even though I was on my own account their subpar backend on their site somehow pulled her info). Garbage company that does not care about it's customers. I will never do business with these again. Sticking to direct booking. Also avoid any Wyndham hotels for the love of God. Charge will be disputed, I have evidence. Stay away from these crooks, both travelocity and Wyndham.
