Door een vluchtvertraging in China kon mijn kameraad 2 dagen later aanwezig zijn in Lanzarote. Ik had al een wagen van bij Cicar. Dus ik met zijn vrouw naar de luchthaven, want alles was al betaald. Totaal geen begrip daar en zeker geen hulp. Zelfs een arrogant lachje. Ze kreeg hem niet mee omdat haar man hem geboekt heeft. Terwijl ze wel als chauffeur opstaat. Na 2 dagen kreeg zelfs haar man hem niet meer omdat je de auto binnen 24 uur moet ophalen. Nooit meer Topcar... Wij noemen het flopcar. Nu nog hopen dat ze het geld terugkrijgen.
Avons récupéré les informations et dû payer une assurance supplémentaire tout risque de 68 € pour 15 jours et avons du aller récupérer les clés à un autre endroit sans grande explication. Le GPS ne fonctionnait pas de retour en agence refus de changer de voiture car pas d'autres voitures avec un GPS. Vidange a 1200km. Pneus dégonflés...

Lo aconsejo totalmente. Habíamos reservado un descapotable pequeño, y nos dieron por el mismo precio un precioso TRoc, nuevecito.
El trato también muy agradable, así que repetiremos.

My wife has no creditcard of herself
So I did the booking
I gave her my passport picture the booking confirmation and my creditcard that I used to book this car
She is not allowed to collect this car
It is paid in full until 3/8 20 days from now
They said the car will be available 24 h after collection date
How is this possible if you show up ?
I can believe this is you don’t show up
Other carcompany I don’t have this problem

Todo ha sido perfecto y fácil, checking online sin colas, el coche en muy buen estado, el precio estupendo y trato al cliente inmejorable, recomendable 100%
SEGURO A TODO RIESGO NO CUBRE PERTENENCIAS EN CASO DE ROBO CON FUERZA
Cogimos un coche de alquiler el Fuerteventura, nos forzaron una puerta y nos robaron el dinero, habíamos cogido seguro a todo riesgo. Presentamos la denuncia pero no te cubre nada porque según ellos aunque tengas el seguro a todo riesgo no cubre pertenencias, así que ojo con esto!!!
EDITO ANTE LA RESPUESTA DE TOPCAR: Evidentemente no tengo que verificar el contrato para cerciorarme si ha sido con TOPCAR, claro que lo hemos cogido con vosotros y ya os hemos informado al respecto (reserva D252945) y nos habéis contestado que mala suerte, y no podéis hacer nada, no queráis ahora edulcorar una respuesta que viene siempre a decir lo mismo, que no cubre nada.
Y es por eso en que me reitero en informar a la gente que OJO no penséis que por sacar un seguro a todo riesgo te cubre un robo.

Nun zum Wagen , Citroen Grand Picasso (7Sitzer) bestellt , Dacia Lodgy bekommen.
Waren zu 6. , der Wagen hat so wenig Kraft..
Frag ich mich wie man so ein Wagen im "Bergland" rausgeben kann, wir waren teilweise ein fahrendes Hindernis.
TopCar ist dennoch eine super Autovermietung.
Durch den zu schwachen Wagen, diesmal leider nur 4 Sterne. ;)

I decided not to take the insurance they offered (which it seems to cover wheels, damage under the car and similar). The lady at the desk told me that a holding fee as a deposit will be retained in my credit card. (over £600). Well, this is not held, in fact this is charged to your credit card. I should have been informed about this. When I called to address this, I was dismissed by the lady who answered the call by saying that this was the company's policy and nothing she could do about it. I explained that what would it happen if I didn't have the £600 to pay upfront to my credit card company to avoid interest charge. Pretty much the answer .. this is not their problem.
Another man, who refused to give his name, took over the call and in a very rude manner and unprofessional attitude, told me the same... but this time adding if it wasn't happy to bring the car and cancel the contract. I was shocked by his approach to something very simple..... I should have been informed when I picked up the car.
Topcar staff need to undertake a good customer service training and complaints workshop.
Rude and unhelpful people.
I would never rent again from them.
(I had another issue, where I have to call out the tow truck - they were going to charge me for this. My question to them .... if not like I was involved in a crash. Your product was faulty, you need to replace it, why should I pay for that?)
