Unacceptable Billing Errors by Tomato Energy

I am deeply frustrated with Tomato Energy's billing accuracy. My July 2025 bill for the period of 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2025 was calculated using an estimated meter reading, despite my submission of actual meter readings on 29 June 2025 and 30 June 2025. This resulted in a discrepancy of 158 kWh. For context, my usage last month was less than 100 kWh, making the estimate over 1.5 times my typical consumption.This inaccurate estimate has led to a potentially inflated bill, which is completely unacceptable. I urge Tomato Energy to correct the bill using my submitted readings and overhaul their billing process to prevent such errors. This experience has completely eroded my trust in their service, and I highly NOT recommend Tomato Energy as a service provider. Once my contract term ends, I will switch to another provider and advise all my friends to avoid using Tomato Energy.

The best EV Tarrif!

Switched to them for the EV tarriff which has made running my car really cheap. The transition is easy and billing transparent. Just sad they don't do Gas. VJ looks after you too.

Utter disaster

After just a couple of weeks of joining Tomato energy they called me and asked how everything was going? I mean really, in the middle of my working day ...as far as I'm concerned as long as I have electricity I'm happy? So then I get my 3 month bill...which was 3 times the previous 2 bills...which was ridiculous as we had been on holiday for 2 of those weeks and then we were working away for the other 2 weeks...so how was it even possible as I gave them the meter readings....to be fair they did answer the phone and some chap said they'd had problems with their system and would sort it out but had given an estimated bill instead of the actual reading....have now switched...never in 18 years of living in my home have I ever had any problems with my bills....so I do not recommend Tomato energy....I can't believe that if I hadn't checked and stopped my direct debit they would happily have taken all that money!

Iv been with Tomato Energy for a few…

Iv been with Tomato Energy for a few months now and I'm very happy with all it entails, it's transparent you can down load mywatts app and see what energy your using daily and cut back on expensive consumption if need be,I have four cheaper rate hours each day to use two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening, when you have to call the Tomato energy company it's easy and you get to talk to someone straight away, I have recommended Tomatoe Energy to other people,I've had so much frustration with other companies in the past,so I do hope I can stay with Tomato energy for years to come thank you.

Courtesy call

Courtesy call recieved from VJ @ tomato energy, asking if everything was ok with servcie and if there was any thing that I needed help with. VJ answered my Queries with professionalism, and gave me the answers to my Quieries. VJ suggested I use Mywatts App on the mobile, however it is not compatable with my Android 10 Samsung Galaxy 9+. I am Hopeing to stay with Tomato for the foreseeable -)

The cheapest energy cost I could find has quality service

The cheapest energy cost I could find is commited to adjusting usage price when the energy tarrif changes. Very happy with service and while I had some doubts about the new supplier at first they have proved themselves to be excellent since I Joined in October.
