Recently switched to another agent. Found the last few years the level of service has been poor. In the end I got sick of them making mistakes and arguing the toss with them and took my business elsewhere. Have been happy with new agent since making the switch and probably should have done it sooner. Not sure if the issue was with the wider management or the actual Property Manager, but either way I lost trust in them and left.

Maisie Widdas is my property manager at Thornley Groves. She has always been very responsive and efficient when issues have arisen. She obtained quotes quickly for works that needed doing and arranged for them to be carried out by contractors in liaison with the tenants. She is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Maisie.

Excellent service from Thornley Groves, Fallowfield in finding tenants for our property. Particularly from Jess who from our initial phone call to finding the lovely group of tenants was superb, but also special mention to Nina whose communication skills were excellent. She kept us informed both by email and phone to update every step of the way, whilst obviously also doing a lot behind the scenes to ensure the students had completed all their paperwork and monies owed very quickly. Looking forward to continuing to work with them both going forwards! Thank you!

Had a viewing with Karen Filson, who was really informative during the viewing and answered all our questions.

The staff is friendly though some questions might not have good answers at site during the viewing. Such as the actual size of the flat.

I had a great experience using Thornley Groves for my lettings this year. They kept me up to do date throughout the process and Nina, who was my main point of contact, was always very quick to respond. Thank you for a job well done!

This review is in relation to my rental property managed by Thornley Grove. Initially, Thornley Grove showed promise and professionalism when trying to secure my business. However, this quickly declined once I signed on. After only a couple of months, I was passed from one agent to another without any communication or explanation. I was never informed when someone left or when a new agent was assigned to my property. The lack of continuity made it incredibly difficult to manage the tenancy, and I found their service to be disjointed and reactive rather than proactive. For a service I was paying for, I expected far better. Overall, a very underwhelming experience – at best a 2 out of 5. I would not recommend Thornley Grove based on my time with them.

Michelle was very helpful and she does everything to help her tenants. And I really appreciate everything that she does to renew my contract

Estate Agent has let themselves into our apartment without our consent! We were sleeping and heard the door go which we asked them to leave, they then rejected leaving and insisted on coming back in 5 minutes, called up about the issue to be told i would hear back from senior management (which we never heard from). Have valuables in our apartment and also a place we feel should be our home, we DID NOT CONFIRM or agree to a viewing to take place on that day. After having no contact from the estate agents regarding the issue AT ALL. I received a call from a colleague Rabia regarding another viewing, i then recieved a rude attitude after confirming we wont be in and dont want a viewing today if we are not in, after last time!

Me and my partner have recently moved into an apartment in Manchester. This is our first home together and Maisie has made it so easy! When we moved in we noticed a lot of issues and we reported it to Maisie. She called me and explained she’d spoke with the landlord and that they were arranging works and quotes and set some really reasonable expectations. It’s only been 2 weeks and we have already gotten everything done! She explained how to report issues in the future and it’s a great system! She even went the extra mile to recommend some nice places to visit in Manchester as we are from Liverpool! Maisie’s amazing and we are so glad she is there as our property manager! Thanks so much Maisie!!

I have been with you since you took over from H4U When Maisie Widdas took over as Manager of my 2 properties; I note a significant change. Been kept up to date with what's going on. Gets back to me in good time when I left a message. Happy with Thornley Groves but she has taken my satisfaction to another level !!! Great asset to the company

Our property manager at Thornley Groves has recently changed to Maisie Widdas. We are extremely pleased with the way she has handled our property since she took over. We have had a number of issues with the tenants, which she has dealt with competently, offering good advice each time.

Excellent estate agent! We recently purchased a property in Monton and Thornley Groves were fantastic throughout the process. Special thanks goes to Clare Carpenter. It was quite a difficult purchase with a few hiccups but Clare was fantastic, always on hand to assist us and get in touch with the vendor and their solicitors when needed. I will definitely use them if selling or renting a property in the area.

We cannot praise Claire enough for her professionalism in dealing with the recent sale of our parents property.
