Similar experience to KayKay...Not responsive nor proactive sorting issues
Similar experience to KayKay.
I have an instalment plan for 2025 festival tickets and the monthly payments have not debited from my bank account.
I emailed about this issue multiple times in November and December and I was told it was being investigated. They then went cold for 4 weeks so I emailed again. They suggested calling to make the missed payments over the phone which took 20 minutes.
Despite being apologetic I would not recommend.
I wish I could benefit from some of this amazing customer service I'm reading about below. I've had a problem with my payment plan for a festival ticket purchase - the payments are not being collected. I first contacted TicketSellers about this at the beginning of November after the first payment was missed. After their initial acknowledgement email, I was not contacted again until 27 November, when I was assured 'Our tech team is currently investigating the issue and we are confident that we will have an update for you by next week.'. 'Next week' came and went. I emailed again to gently request an update, and when that was further ignored I sent an email to complain. This has again been completely ignored.
I can be understanding about technical issues if I am kept informed, even just a little bit - but this company stonewalling me feels horrible and I'm really stressed about my payments not being taken. I do not want to have to pay a large sum in one go nor have my payments stretch out longer than intended.
Great experience with this team who were extremely responsive and managed to defer my tickets to another event as I was unable to use them this year. Great service mindset.
Excellent customer service. I managed to lose my ticket confirmation emails somehow and they were resent to me about one minute after I enquired. Great, friendly service.
I had to contact these guys as I missed one of the child tickets from my order. They dealt with it quickly and efficiently with great communication and a very friendly response. Couldn't be happier. Thank You.
Really appreciated the helpful and friendly customer service, when I needed to speak to an advisor, both on the phone and over email. It's refreshing when you get to speak to an actual person, they don't take forever to pick up the phone and they can resolve your issue. Yes!
This company went above and beyond to answer my questions and when they needed to check with the venue for anything that they were unable to answer I was kept updated and they gave reassurance that I hadn't been forgotten.
Thanks especially to Georgia.
I am amending this review to reflect my customer service experience. I still would like to warn individuals about the high (about 10%) hidden fees that will not be refunded even when an event is cancelled. Also wanted to remind people to always check the terms and conditions. Especially if you are spending a fair bit of money. I think TicketSellers has been investing in their customer service team, having had awful reviews in the past - so credit where credit is due.
I still feel that as only 1% (digitaljournal.com, 2020) of people read the terms and conditions, that TicketSellers would benefit from a bit more transparency regarding the ‘hidden fees’ because expecting a customer to phone in (the number looks like it charges for calls, too) to find out what the hidden fees would be, just feels a bit deceptive and pretty unrealistic.
Despite still feeling that the way TicketSellers operates needs to improve - even if they describe it as “standard practice” - I’m not sure such high hidden fees really are standard. Previously I have had an event cancellation and was refunded in full - so I know that in this unlikely situation where an event is cancelled it is possible to not be charged.
Thank you TicketSellers for investing in your customer service - after speaking with a few members of your team I want to show my appreciation for your attentiveness to your job and resolving this matter.
11 of us booked separately to go to a big event. We decided to do it pay monthly, as we have several events we are paying off (we do this each year, it works for us).
Yesterday every single one of us woke up to our banks having a ‘failed transaction’ from Ticketsellers. We all had more than enough money in our accounts, and couldn’t understand why the payment wasn’t taken. We all contacted our individual banks and they all said the same - the payment was taken and then reversed on Ticketsellers end.
Upon reading reviews and speaking to several other people on a Facebook group about Ticketsellers, it’s evident they do this to incur a ‘non-negotiable £2.00 fee for re-instating the payment arrangement’. Apparently they do this ALOT and you can’t ring up ‘to discuss failed payments’ - I wonder why?! Because they ENSURE payments fail!
There are hundreds of people saying the same in the Facebook group who didn’t realise it’s a scam and continued to pay tie £2.00 and then it happened every time their payment was due to be made, meaning they paid £10+ extra on top of the tickets & booking fees & interest for payment plans!
I’ve emailed them. If they don’t respond we will be taking this further as we have evidence from our banks that the payment was reversed on Ticketsellers end and we have been in touch with the organisers with all of our evidence and the proof from the Facebook group/our banks and they are looking into removing the event from Ticketsellers. They have advised if TS do not rectify this immediately, they will take it further and we can cancel our tickets and recieve full refunds and get our tickets through them personally.
Bought 4 tickets the a gig in March, the gig has been cancelled, I was sent refund minus 4 booking fee's, this is an absolute rip off , booking fee's for doing what ! Avoid this company I would never use again ,money grabbing vultures
