BEWARE OF THE FAILED PAYMENT SCAM!
11 of us booked separately to go to a big event. We decided to do it pay monthly, as we have several events we are paying off (we do this each year, it works for us). Yesterday every single one of us woke up to our banks having a ‘failed transaction’ from Ticketsellers. We all had more than enough money in our accounts, and couldn’t understand why the payment wasn’t taken. We all contacted our individual banks and they all said the same - the payment was taken and then reversed on Ticketsellers end. Upon reading reviews and speaking to several other people on a Facebook group about Ticketsellers, it’s evident they do this to incur a ‘non-negotiable £2.00 fee for re-instating the payment arrangement’. Apparently they do this ALOT and you can’t ring up ‘to discuss failed payments’ - I wonder why?! Because they ENSURE payments fail! There are hundreds of people saying the same in the Facebook group who didn’t realise it’s a scam and continued to pay tie £2.00 and then it happened every time their payment was due to be made, meaning they paid £10+ extra on top of the tickets & booking fees & interest for payment plans! I’ve emailed them. If they don’t respond we will be taking this further as we have evidence from our banks that the payment was reversed on Ticketsellers end and we have been in touch with the organisers with all of our evidence and the proof from the Facebook group/our banks and they are looking into removing the event from Ticketsellers. They have advised if TS do not rectify this immediately, they will take it further and we can cancel our tickets and recieve full refunds and get our tickets through them personally.
