Cardiff east branch have been amazing Came to our new build and seeded the garden and the grass has been just amazing! Darren has been on call if we had any questions and came back to us really quickly! Quote was quick and easy and the work got done not long after. Gentleman that completed the work were lovely and good at what they do. We opt for the monthly direct debit same as family members and we are so far very happy. Cardiff east are a great team
What a fraudulent company.. taking money by DD and rarely showing up, no answer to calls.. just get yoru gardener to do maintenance, lot cheaper as these guys are fraudsters
Removed family cars from the drive to be told they’ve run out of weed killer!! 😡 then said I’ve not got an account, then said it was for a quote ….. terrible customer service I have got an account, I gave you the go ahead regardless of price, …. Will update ratings when/if completed.

Avoid this company. Customer service is absolutely non-existant. They don't reply to emails, they don't answer phone calls and they clearly dont care about customers. I had the aeration and scarification treatment on my lawn, and they left behind 9 bags of waste! They didn't tell me and I only saw them when I arrived home later that day. They've always taken the waste away before, but didn't this time so I tried to contact them to ask for it to be taken away immediately before it rained. It took me over a week to get a reply from them after consistently ringing every day. I was then given a very half-baked apology, told they don't take away waste now because its too expensive, and then I was sent on my way. My patio is now damaged and has moss all over it, and carrying 9 bags of wet thatch waste to the garden skip has also damaged the interior of my car. Not to mention the number of spiders and flies in my car now! This is simply unacceptable. I've been a customer woth GreenThumb for years now, and ever since they increased their costs, their customer service has gone to crap. It seems the more you pay, the worse service you get. Avoid this company - there are plenty of others who actually value customers, and I will be moving to one of them now.

can't for the life of me understand why they now don't take cash. I asked the operative if he wouldn't accept cash how about a card payment? No. Direct debit or bust. This is no way to run a business and in future will cost this company dearly.

Chichester branch. Zero customer service. Email and text to give date of next visit. I telephoned to confirm 48 hours before visit. Told after 2.30. Waited in. Phoned at 3.45 as not arrived. Told Will definetly be here. They phoned at 4.45 to say he had run out of time and not coming, couldn’t re-schedule appointment on phone I’d be sent one in due course!! Not good enough. They manage to take my direct debit on time!!!

My lawn is worse now then when I got them in 😂. Brown grass all over. They just put a leaflet through the door saying what treatment has been done. Also mentioning I have to fork out £109 for scarification. It’s a massive no from me absolute waste of money.

I recently had an interview for a position at Green Thumb, it seemed very good and friendly, they promised to be in touch. Alas over 3 weeks have passed and I’ve not heard from them. This is very disappointing as some sort of feedback would have been appreciated. Since the interview I heard from a customer in my current role, who used Green Thumb and said they weren't very complimentary, maybe I’ve had a lucky escape from the Chichester branch.

My advice is to avoid .... Absolutely horridness customer service and worst service as well. Started the service since April and the grass got worst every time they visited. They blame the hot weather ... but this was early April until July ... Grass mostly dead ... Not sure they know want they are doing ... Cancelled the servers and the Groby branch contacted me for outstanding payments? ... They say you can cancel anytime, don't believe it, it's a lie, they will charge you whatever they want claiming it's part of their service. Take the hint and avoid them.

Kevin from Lincoln turned up couldn’t be bothered to explain or discuss what needed doing,handed me a leaflet instead of explaining, here less than 5 mins , ticked boxes saying I’ve got moss and thatch when there isn’t

The first year of employing Greenthumb showed a small difference in the overall appearance of my lawn and actually killed about 20% of weeds, but unfortunately this was not to last and I now have to agree with the high percentage of bad reviews on here. Their treatments have not made the slightest difference in any respect whatsoever and I have therefore cancelled my contract, along with neighbours who are testimony to the same opinion. My original high hopes for this Company have done a 100% negative turnaround. Their excuses for extremely poor performance would make a saga in itself! I would also mention that their administration department also need an overhaul. I have always paid my invoice within an hour of treatment, yet have still received several reminders that payment is due. You certainly need extended patience to get through on their telephone system to a member of staff! All in all, a very disatisfied customer!

When I first started using Green Thumb Lawn Care, I was satisfied at the condition of my lawns and service. However, over the last few months, the treatment and services have been appalling. The young guy is done and dusted in just a few minutes, with no communication whatsoever. Also, my monthly premium increased by £3, even though I explained to them that I no longer have a rear lawn! I have now cancelled my contract, as the treatment does not justify the extortionate costs.
