GREENTHUMB DISASTER

Looked after my garden for 6 - 7 years they've eventually ruined it what a waste of money, they ruin it then try charging me to put it right😡

Cardiff east branch have been amazing Came to our new build and seeded the garden and the grass has been just amazing! Darren has been on call if we had any questions and came back to us really quickly! Quote was quick and easy and the work got done not long after. Gentleman that completed the work were lovely and good at what they do. We opt for the monthly direct debit same as family members and we are so far very happy. Cardiff east are a great team

What a fraudulent company.

What a fraudulent company.. taking money by DD and rarely showing up, no answer to calls.. just get yoru gardener to do maintenance, lot cheaper as these guys are fraudsters

Removed family cars from the drive to be told they’ve run out of weed killer!! 😡 then said I’ve not got an account, then said it was for a quote ….. terrible customer service I have got an account, I gave you the go ahead regardless of price, …. Will update ratings when/if completed.

I have been using Green thumb in…

I have been using Green thumb in Beverley for a few years now and I’ve always been very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend them .

Green thumbAvoid green thumb put a winter treatment…

Green thumb put a winter treatment down.after 3 days you could visibly see the grass dying. We contacted them and then the head office . for help . Chris from the brigg office in Lincolnshire came out said the loss thinning of grass wait for it every excuse from the dogs weeing to the wet winter or the frost. he then said he has no idea and to wait till September it’s now January. we have been with green thumb for years we now have ended all treatments. they don’t know what they put in there treatment s would not have them back ever .look at the reviews should call them it’s not our fault or brown thumb. The head office was full of positive help but it fell to Nothing . They caused the lawn to look like a rugby pitch. Spraying so called treatment. and they don’t even know what it was . when Chris there area franchise manager threw some fertiliser on the lawn when he was asked why he said it’s to green the lawn that was not present only muddy earth . So remember if you use brown thumb. and it goes wrong it’s not what they put on or anything they do

Trespassed on our property and applied unrequested treatments without permission…

I’m not a Greenthumb customer…and that is the problem. We had a card pushed through our door a few days ago saying that their operatives had applied fertiliser and an anti-moss treatment to our lawn. We did NOT ask for this service. Furthermore, as our lawned areas are to the rear of the house, the Greenthumb people had to trespass to access them. My partner was in the house at the time, but didn’t see them, and they certainly didn’t request permission. Shocking behaviour. We have set our garden up as wildlife friendly and we avoid using any artificial fertilisers or grass treatments. I’m now chasing them to see if they’ll remove the treatment (I don’t care if they suck this stuff up using straws…). 5/2/23 UPDATE: I think it’s only fair to offer an update on this story, as a nice lady called Fiona from Preston North Green Thumb took the trouble to email today (a Sunday) to discuss the issue and seek to understand what happened. It appears that their technician came to the wrong house in my street, having had a legitimate job to do a couple of doors down. It’s an annoying mistake, in the age of GPS and Google Maps; but I’m impressed with the response from Fiona. Taking a complaint seriously and trying to resolve. Customer Service 101, sensibly defusing the matter, and bumping up the stars to compensate.

Green Thumb have fulfilled the first…

Green Thumb have fulfilled the first part of my contract. One man came to scarifyi and aeriate my lawn. Green Thumb charged me £564 for that one days work. I don't know what you think but I feel ripped off. I was not made aware of how little work was required to achieve the job compared to the charge. It was supposed to be two guys for half a day bit in guy didn't turn up but didn't affect the total hours of work. Me an OAP as well! Adrian Gray

VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

We have been using Greenthumb NORTH WEST for several years visited yesterday by David and Dillon who arrived when they said who are very pleasant and did a good job as always. Never any problem with payment we are emailed the invoice and ring up and make payement with a card.

Excellent service and work

Greenthumb have been coming to me for years. I use the Croydon branch and have always had excellent service. Dave and his team have been exemplary always on time and very pleasant to deal with. Our lawn is much better as a result of the great service. Communication with them is very straightforward both by email and by telephone. Can’t fault them in anyway

Rob and Glyn from the Sheffield Branch…

Rob and Glyn from the Sheffield Branch arrived on time. I explained some of the issues around the anticipated work and we were able to easily come to a conclusion as to what lawn areas to treat. Work done efficiently and leaving no mess. Very satisfied with their work.

They are really good.........at…

They are really good.........at throwing litter down in your street after doing work on a neighbours garden. Two vans, one hour, banana skins tossed on the street. If that's how they treat the environment, you should think carefully about letting them anywhere near your garden.Horsell, Surrey, you know who you are.
