The word is "who" made it great and that would be Jennifer. She is beyond knowledgeable concerning her products and incredibly easy and pleasant to deal with. If I needed more furniture right now, this would be my first place to look for it and she would be who I'd request to help me look. Thank you for such a great experience. I love my new bed!

Order came in no time

Order came in no time! The rep was super knowledgeable, and the ordering process was smooth with more details about the recliner than on the manufacturer website itself. Price was the lowest we could find online.

Classic Internet, bait and Switch!

Do not buy from this store! They are anything but classy and completely dishonorable! I unfortunately brought three sofas from the same collection two of them came off of the delivery truck, broken, literally falling apart! The broken sofa was noticed by the delivery man and returned the other, was discovered to be broken in the same manner when unwrapped. Read their return policy very very carefully. You can only return items in their original packaging which the delivery man offers to take upon delivery. And if you somehow managed to keep your packaging, there’s a two way shipping and 25% restock fee. After nearly 2 months of back-and-forth, they refused to give me any compensation for the second broken sofa. Claiming the pictures I provided were not proficient. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE CLASSY HOME

This company is in the number one spot for worst company to deal with. Good luck with shipping. you get a week time frame then suppose to be 24 hour notice not happening. They resceduled us 4 times. Company offered 100 off or set up of the bedroom suit. I tried to get ordered canceled they wouldn't do that. Delivery arrived and they said they didn't know anything about the set up and left my husband set it all up. I called manager Rachael. she said she had sent the request for set up offered us 300 off got email saying she would refund the 100. I can't stress enough do not do business with this company. Try local. another suggestion if your in the middle of problems with them stop payment with the credit card company and file a despute. Good Luck!

Purchased garage cabinets

Purchased garage cabinets. Informed they will ship in two business days. Informed them we need them by next week. Well cabinets shipped in two days, but what they don't tell you it takes three weeks and you must be present for a signature. Cannot believe something takes three weeks and cannot recieve without a signature. This company is a nightmare to deal with. Buyer beware.

I just received my new reclining Ashley Ocean Leather Sofa and am in love. Luxurious materials and deep blue leather. It's stunning and extremely comfortable. I have purchased 7 different pieces of furniture from The Classy Homes. Each item has been amazing quality and has had smooth delivery. I love the low prices and the variety offered. Plan to buy again soon.

Have you ever taken vacation days for confirmed delivery times? And waited while no one showed up or called you proactive back? If you love pain, then you should go with Classy Home. And the best is they confirmed a refund while they never replied anymore after the delivery happened. Super unprofessional company.

Literally never delivered

I have been waiting for the dresser I ordered for over 2 weeks. Finally, on 01/16, I received a delivery window of 1030-230 the following day. I confirmed the window four times, twice by email and twice by text. Just prior to the end of the day, I received a NEW delivery window of 9am-1pm. Knowing I had a doctor's appointment at 8am, I called immediately and the customer service associate assured me that she would notate my account and advise the drivers that I would not be available before 10am. The following day, while I was at the doctor, I received a message that the drivers were 30 minutes out. I called back immediately only to be told there was nothing to be done. The associate asked if they could leave the dresser unattended or elsewhere; the associate was so rude and didn't seem to have any awareness of my account or what I had ordered. It is clear that the furniture seller has no relationship with the shipper and it does not appear that the shipper has a relationship with the customer service associates. I have put in a ticket with the Classy Home but have received no updated delivery and no response to my request for a refund. It's a wild disappointment. Next time, I'm buying local. (Edit) After 3 days of silence, Rachel reached out to me yesterday to set up a new delivery window for today (01/21/25) between 130-530. I decided to give it one more shot. At 508pm, I received a delivery update, stating a window of 530-930pm. After taking a half day off work to accommodate the original window (not to mention the previously bungled window), I am beyond angry. I will NEVER recommend this company. Edit to address response: I'm not sure how an ungraded delivery that didn't happen is supposed to resolve anything. I certainly didn't receive any offer of compensation and, in the interest of full transparency, I will point out that there was nothing wrong with the weather on the original delivery date. No one has tried to reach me and I now know that you don't take calls on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday so I am not interested in ANOTHER attempted delivery for tomorrow, knowing that there will be zero customer support available. This has got to be some kind of joke.

Don't bother with returns

I ordered shelves for an armoire which I realized would not benefit me. The package was not opened. By the time I was penalized for shipping both ways and a restock fee, there was little left to refund. I was also told the company would not respond to inquiries Friday Saturday or Sunday. Returns are time sensitive. First and last time I will do business with this company.

Refund

They said they won't ship my order out until March 2025 (it's December 2024). Upon seeing this, I cancelled the order as I needed these ASAP and could not wait. They completely refunded my money within 24 hours even though it gave the warning of charging me 20% of my order. I got 100% refund. It was professional and not very scam like despite other reviews. Might I recommend hiring some help in the warehouse to get orders moving.

Don’t buy from Classy Home they extort and steal your money deliver defective products

As with numerous other customers I have had several issues with Classy Home it took 3 months to deliver my sofa then it was an outdated model that didn’t come with the electric wiring and I paid for white glove delivery they trashed my yard with boxes and packaging materials also my neighbors yard. When I called about the issues with no wiring and sofa not working they argued for three weeks of phone calls then the manufacturer told them to send updated sofa another 3 1/2 months to delivery and sofa has a sunken seat and clicks which is mechanical and covered in manf. Warranty yet for 2 months have been arguing to have it replaced as per manufacturer again now Clssy is trying to defraud me out of $285 for shipping of new sofa from manufacturer it’s already shipped and not my responsibility to pay them for it. They keep sending emails that shipping carrier is holding sofa until I pay Classy Home more money. I am going to administer my right to sue them for taking my money and delivery of 2 sofas that are defective and refusing to deliver new couch sent from manufacturer without trying to extort me of more money! Reply to the below reply: The manufacturer warranty is one year also I paid for Five year extended warranty so Classy Home reply is incorrect on warranty and I have been calling them for three months about the issue and have only had this sofa for less than six months as it took several months and weeks for it to be delivered. Regardless manufacturer is replacing and already shipped. This time not Classy Home as they just sent an email saying they don’t consent to manufacture replacement and they will not validate any claims even though I have receipts showing extended 5 year after manufacture warranty ends.

Purchased a recliner for $1400, wrong one sent

Purchased a recliner for $1400 that was supposed to be electric recline due to health reasons and that's what I had been searching for 6 months for What I received was a MANUAL reclining chair I made the order over the phone as to not have any errors. After recieving, i contacted the not so classy home for resolution. The 'lady' i spoke with Mary was immediately mean and offensive, as if she was prepared to act this way towards customers. Instead of looking up whom sold it to me, she used phone logs to see if i had called, yet left out in her review a 15 minute call that i had on my phone. and claimed the email of the order which was days later as i was told it was, was when i ordered. the 2 emails i got were 2 minutes apart, my email does not work that quick, place order, order received 2 minutes later, it just doesn't work that quick, unless they were both sent at same time days after the actual phone order, their order system was down at multiple times and would have messages like, "you can't order until 9pm" so if i can't order until 9pm and i called and put in the order at 10am, then they wouldn't be able to place the order till later also, which probably wasn't done on sunday night at 9-10pm when the store was closed. She was also stating that maybe i ordered another chair from another store...NO, i have the chair that came from this business that i ordered from this business, (not the right one) but no i didn't order 5 recliners from 5 different stores and i'm not sure who would do that anyway?? IF I had wanted a manual recliner, i could have bought 3.5 of them from WAYFAIR. Who would buy a $1400 manual recliner? no one. But of course logic and reason made no sense to her, with the NY attitude of the customer is never right. When asking for replacement info. i got no response, so now i have a recliner i can't physically use and a box it came in taking up my small lake cabin for over a month now. People used to have morals and character, but not anymore.

DO NOT BUY from this company

Ordered a reclining sofa, loveseat and chair. The sofa arrived with a bent frame and the reclining portion didn't work on one side because some of the parts were missing. I contacted The Classy Home less than 24 hours after delivery and it took them 2 months to send someone out to look at the sofa. It's now been over 2 months. I am still trying to get the sofa fixed and am in the process of disputing the charge. DO NOT BUY from this company.

Poor Quality Product

I really wish I would have done my homework prior to giving this company my business. I’m not a guy who writes reviews very often, I have more important things to do. Only prompted to do so when a company is super shady or absolutely fantastic. There is nothing “Classy” about The Classy Home. I ordered Picket House Madison Gray Wood Storage King Bed and 2 matching nightstands for $1390.88 on 4-21-24. What went right: Furniture was delivered 1 day early on 5-14-24, undamaged. I thought 3 weeks for such a large shipment was pretty good. Furniture exterior was as expected and looks nice to me. Nightstands came pre-assembled. What went wrong: Bed was missing a couple of small screws (No big deal for me because I keep lots of hardware) Drawers for both the nightstands and bed utilize cheap drawer slides that do not allow smooth opening and closing. I will fix this sometime in the future. As I was assembling this bed frame, I noticed the mattress support materials were flimsy and did not look strong enough to hold my 200lb king mattress, me 6’4” 220lbs and my girlfriend, but I continued, knowing this frame probably wouldn’t stand the test of time. Supporting the mattress was (5) – 79” x 1.5” x .75” plywood strips, center supported by (1) 20” x 1.5” x 1.5” light wood post each, then connected together by (6) - 80” X 12” x .25” pressboard (glorified cardboard) strips. This equates to 592.5 square inches of cheap materials supporting a 6080 square inch mattress weighing 550lbs with 2 people on it. After assembly was complete, I put my mattress on it and it seemed fairly sturdy, but the test of time came just 3 nights later when, with my girlfriend spending the night, the bed collapsed near the head of the bed when I rolled over. Super “Classy”…I did not bother to call and complain because I didn't want to wait for cheap replacement parts that would only fail again. If you’re questioning my assembly skills, I have 35+ years of construction and remodeling experience and I’m a master electrician that has designed and built electrical cabinets. Sending this bed frame back would be too much of a hassle and I do like the look of it, so the next day I went to my local hardware store and spent $200.00 dollars for quality support materials to repair the poorly designed bed frame. The bed frame could now be used as a tornado shelter. I own the fact that I didn’t do better research on this bedframe. I was looking for a tall storage bed because I have a small bedroom without much storage space and was having difficulty finding one that suited my needs so when I came across this bedframe with (1) - 4 star review, I stopped my search. (See Update, the next paragraph was part of my initial review/problem) My real problem with this company isn’t the poorly designed bed frame that they sold me under the guise of “Classy”, it’s their blatant dishonesty. The fact I’m here on Trust Pilot writing this review, should tell you everything you need to know about this company. DO NOT trust their “reviews”. I doubt they post many or any negative reviews and looking at some of their posted positive reviews, they look manufactured. I tried to post a review (not nasty) on this bedframe with pictures of the broken frame and my repairs to warn people of its poor quality and The Classy Home hasn't posted it under the product. I only received an email stating “Thanks for your feedback”. They’re not sharing negative customer experiences and that to me is completely unacceptable and dishonest. I will update this review if they ever post my review. I hope this review is helpful to someone smarter than me that researches a company before making a purchase. 6-3-2024 Update: The Classy Home reached out to me and apologized for not posting my product review and offered a refund to cover my repair costs. They posted my review but didn't include all my pictures that gave a clear picture of what happened. At least visiting customers have a written explanation of the product quality. I guess a squeaky wheel does get grease. I'm updating my rating from 1 to 3 because it appears they will try to make things right and I do what I say I will do. I still wouldn't trust the quality of their products or consider them for future purchases.

Having the exact same bad experience…

Having the exact same experience as one other poster to this page. Day 14 of them having my money, and nobody knows what's going on with my order. they blame the trucking company for not picking up the order and giving me a delivery time--but they don't call or email me with updates as promised. Today I am canceling with my credit card and will order elsewhere. I asked another competitor about them, and I've been told this company lowballs pricing, can never place the order because of the below cost pricing, and then wants to charge you a fee for canceling and 'restocking'. this is FRAUD if this is what's happening. They certainly know how to bill your credit card company, but can't find anyone to talk to at a freight company?

WARNING the Fabric s Blackening after 1 year

I purchased the Ashely Donlen white Sofa Sleeper and matching loveseat. I bought them in white faux leather, which is what I previously had for almost 8 years. After 1 year, I started noticing a blackish discoloring in various areas. I tried to clean it, but it's not cleanable. I was sick for about 6 weeks and was forced to work from the couch I placed a white cotton sheet where I sat. When I was better, I was mortified to find, the seat cushion was not only blackened but the material changed to a plastic texture and started to rip. I also noticed the blackened color was worsening on both couches. I live alone and many of the areas that are blackening are not exposed or ever touched. I bought the 5-year warranty and was positive because of the severity there would be no issues. Well, Classy Home said I missed the deadline for them to assist, and advised me to contact the warranty company "Uniters". Uniters denied my claim as they are claiming discoloration is not covered. This is a blatant scam. They advertise stains and damages are covered. I saved my money to purchase these and utilized a $500 gift from my grandmother who has now passed. This is not acceptable in any way. I am going to attempt to file a new claim to see if the ripped cushion will at least be covered. It's all very upsetting. Classy Home should not be selling clearly defective furniture and then not provide any resolution is unacceptable. I’d very much advise to not buy from this company. I avoided my review, in hopes to a solution, but none has been given. My review has been shared with them.

Completely wrong item description

Worst experience ever! We purchased 2 chairs but the website description turned out to be completely inaccurate! Despite this The Classy Home refused to let us return the chairs without us paying for shipping that was more expensive than the chairs. We later noticed that they changed the website description after we complained! But they still didn’t own their mistake! Never buy from this company, if anything goes wrong you have absolutely no rights!

Terrible and non existent customer service

Worst experience and customer service ever experienced. Customer service is ridiculously unprofessional and does not respond to messages. When they eventually do respond, it’s completely bogus excuses despite paper trails of documentation. Save yourself the time, money and energy and take business elsewhere because this company is terrible.
