Why do all the advertising pictures show indigo night crème as full to the brim but when you purchase it, it is way below this level. Is this not misleading?

Tatcha receives mixed feedback from consumers, with nearly equal proportions of positive and negative reviews. Many customers praise the effectiveness of products like the Dewy Skin Cream and the Rice Wash, noting their lightweight feel and transformative effects on skin quality. However, a significant number of reviewers express frustration with Tatcha's customer service, citing issues such as receiving empty packages, poor communication, and unresponsive support. Some users report adverse reactions to certain products, including breakouts and allergic responses. While many appreciate the product quality, the overall sentiment is marred by complaints about service and order fulfillment. Consequently, Tatcha's reputation is currently a blend of admiration for its skincare line and disappointment in its customer service.

The most amazing moisturiser!! I purchased the dewy skin and I’ll never go back. The feeling it gives me when I apply is pure glow! I couldn’t recommend it more!

First time ordering or trying Tatcha, took advantage of their current promotion offering a free 75ml Essence when ordering any full size moisturiser. Very disappointed as the package arrived today with no Essence inside, no free samples either just the expensive face cream. No reply to any of my emails, the chatbot is awful and no answer on telephone.
I can only speak as I find, I have placed 2 orders within the past 2 weeks directly using the Tatcha website, the order process was smooth and simple. The products arrived next day (unbelievable service level) even though I did not pay for this service. And more than that, the products and packaging are lovely. If only other Luxury brands (Nespresso) were half as good in looking after their valuable customers..... exceeding my expectations - so thank you !
Terrible experience! I tried to order a product on their website a few days ago. Could not get the code for check out website said I needed for an auto order. Sent an email and got a response today that was not about check out. Asked for phone number and talked to someone. Went to check out with new password provided and THEN "review order" button would not work. Called again...order placed with customer service person, who also said an email confirmation had already been sentl Did not receive it and emailed that I had also already checked spam. Response told me to check spam!! E mailed again to cancel order...they called me back to confirm cancelling and then literally hung up on me!! What is wrong with this company.?!..Ratings indicate my experience is certainly not unique!!
Ordered a product I’ve been using over a year and it arrived smelling like chemicals, chunky and burning my face - the product clearly went bad.
I returned 2 items. Tatcha confirmed after a month they had received it and then said they would issue a refund. After another month I still do not have my refund and they are not returning my msg. There is no way to contact them except through msging and email. I am now being ignored. Add to that the cream caused me to break put completely.
Every year in January, Tatcha has a promotion called "Lucky bags', in which customers can earn a mystery bag of goodies in proportion to how much they spend ($100-$199 orders receive a mystery bag worth 100+ and orders over $200 receive a mystery bag worth over $200). I had heard about this for years, but had never taken skincare seriously. I decided 2023 would be the year to finally start my skincare journey, and I wanted Tatcha to be the brand I did this with. I purchased over $200 in products (hilariously only 2 items made this up, since Tatcha is extremely overpriced for the simple ingredients they use in their products), got the more expensive lucky bag, and waited for my skincare journey to begin. However, the package was lost by UPS, as it was shipped with quite possibly the slowest shipping I had ever seen from CA to NJ. I immediately contacted Tatcha and filed a claim with UPS. The claim was approved by quickly, which means that Tatcha would receive a check for the value of the package, which includes the gifts ($400+). I on the other hand could not get in contact with Tatcha, as their only means of customer service is through email. They conveniently closed the phoneline they previously had for customer service calls and their live chat was suspiciously never live, even during the middle of the day. Finally, on 1/25, after a week had passed (which was now 3 weeks since the date of purchase) they finally answered with conflicting responses. The first one said that they needed to wait for the check to come from UPS before they could issue a refund, and the second was that they had approved my dispute with my banking institution and that I would be refunded. I emailed them back expressing my disappointment with this extremely delayed response and that for no fault of my own, I would completely miss out $200+ worth of products that were included with my purchase. I sent that email on the same day they responded to me, 1/25, and today is 2/4 and I still can't hear back. Clearly their "customer service", if you could even call it that, has washed their hands of me. I am absolutely disgusted by this lack of basic professionalism. If anyone's looking for a skincare brand that's actually affordable and produces real results, I recommend Glow Recipe or Peach and Lily!!
Amount debited from bank account is over a 100 more than my receipt. Sent email. Got auto response almost a month ago and no follow up. Chat is closed. Phone lines as well. No way to reach this company to get it corrected. Horrible!! Never again!!
Ordered the Dewy face cream , with a good decent first customer offer ( always a nice touch ) item was sent out the same day , and promptly delivered within 48 hours, well packed, and with a free sample and nice little thank you card , only used the cream once so far but it feels nice , and time will tell at its effectiveness, will definitely be checking out more of the range x
Shipping moves at snail speed; expect about 3 weeks to receive your purchase. This occurred the first two times and the second time someone emailed out of the blue to apologize for the shipping delay. "It's not our standard so please accept this 25% off code for your next purchase as an apology"....except that code either never worked or had an unspoken expiry date. They are shooting themselves in the foot and have lost a customer.
I placed an order on their site and unfortunately (yes my fault) entered my card details in wrong (wrong security code.. couldn’t be bothered double checking it so yes, my fault) anyway, I used a gift card on the order - the whole order was declined, okay that I understand but now? Now it says the balance on my gift card is $0 and they do NOT answer your emails or direct messages on social media!!
Very bad experience, ordered a water cream and when it arrived it felt suspiciously light. Opened it to find they had sent me an empty box! Absolutely disgusting, pretty obvious what had happened. Not even an apology but they did replace upon getting my email. Wouldn’t buy again from them.
Ordered on November 28 and it shows to be delivered December 11. When I track the order it stayed put in the same place in California. Order never arrived. Zero customer service. Emails bounced back to thank you for reaching out to us. Zero live agents ever available. No ability to leave a voicemail. Finally was notified via email after six weeks that I would get a refund and they could not deliver it because of wrong address or lack of signature. This is very inaccurate since the tracking shows it never left California. Beware of this company when ordering.
I ordered two booster car seats was charged $112 took forever to even receive the package an when I received the package it was completely the wrong items!!!!! Why these people sent me 2 car seat covers instead of the car seats I paid $112 for!!!! The number on there website isn’t even a real number!!! I emailed them numerous of times an never received a response back!!! I had to go through my bank in order to even get refund!!!! I can’t believe they would scam people like that literally trying to get new car seats for my autistic children an this is what the outcome is!!!! Very poor very sad that people can do stuff like this!!!!
First time ordering direct and it was awful. It is so very hard to get ahold of someone if you have any issues. For the amount of money you spend, you’d think they would have excellent customer service who go above and beyond. They take weeks to ship and when it finally ships they use a cheap shipping method that takes many days. Sephora doesn’t do this and I’m glad I now know. I thought ordering direct would have been better, but this experience proved me wrong for sure.
They have the WORST customer service ever. I contacted them three times, but they have yet to respond. This company is a big SCAM!!!! The promotion code for free shipping did not work, and I paid 20$ for shipping, but THENNN then ups contacted me for 32 more dollars. I already spent 20. Why should I pay extra???? Why did they not mention it while checkout?????? Also, the price on the website is in American dollars. When I ordered never mentioned it. And I ended up paying 224 CAD instead of 160$. They are horrible and ruined my holiday gift.
HORRIBLE customer service. I have tried calling 3 times and emailed the customer service team 4 times including a follow up email this morning and i have received NO RESPONSE. I would have appreciated ANY form of response rather than being IGNORED. I used to buy tatcha products through sephora but my experience buying directly has been so horrible that i am just going to stop buying the products period if no one from the team responds to me.
I previously wrote a bad review about Tatcha. Since then Ashley from Tarcha resolved my problem in a timely manner. I had received a damage package and couldn't get thru to customer service. I emailed her and not only did she immediately get back to me I got my replacement the next day! Very satisfied
Wow what can I say! All the products I have tried (the essence, the watery cream, the dewy serum, the eye cream, the cleansing oil, rice polish and primer) are amazing. Expensive but so worth it and the delivery was amazingly quick and tracked. Also received 4 free goodies with my order including a full size essence RRP £95 with my order. Blown away
