Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up.
Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws.
Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.
I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam
Shockingly bad provider. When I initially ordered, it took a week for the sim to arrive and I cancelled getting a refund. Then I went to Lebara, who I was unable to make calls with and the call, if I could connect, kept cutting out. So I came back to Talk Home and the sim arrived in 3 days, which was better, but now, when I call out the phone is dead and there's no ring tone. The only way I know if I managed to connect to them is when I get a text/call back from them not long afterwards. This is appallingly bad!
Added to the calling problems, the customer service is abysmal, as the assistants are all dealing with other people at the same time (you can see them typing). You are not a priority and you have to wait a long time.
So again, today, I'm just waiting, AGAIN, to cancel and get a refund

From reading the reviews, other people are experiencing the same as I am. What I can only conclude is that unless you're living within areas of good reception (which is very odd considering I'm a major Scottish city and central) then you're going to get a terrible service. The only way to solve this is letting people know PRECISELY WHERE in the UK they have a good service and where they don't. It would save people a lot of time, by avoiding the company and likewise leaving negative reviews.
I have paid via PayPal £5 for a SIM card but I never received it. I asked for refund but they refused to pay back. I raised this concern with PayPal and they sorted it out for me.
I had a problem with a SIM contract when I ported my old number in. I contacted customer services using the chat and the rep was able to fix it in 5 minutes. The rep was very helpful and friendly.
Cannot call out yet again using my number. Last time the excuse was that there was a technical glitch. A month later the phone wouldn't call out because the auto-renewal payment hadn't gone through on 15th of the month when the actual package was due to expire on 17th!
I also tried to request PAC to move my number but even that hasn't been issued using the 65075 number which I used in December to get the PAC issued but couldn't use it in 30 days.
I left a review in December 2024 which they chased me to withdraw and I refused. No compensation. Just a very very shockingly poor company which should be shut down.
If I could give it zero stars I would. The worst network I have ever been on in my life! No service anywhere I go, it might as well be a landline.

I thought this to start with. Since this review I've changed my opinion. We have two phones in the house, both now with TalkHome. Since porting our numbers and inserting the sims we've been unable to make or receive calls. Despite over two hours on the chat line they've been unable to resolve things. I can't even call their helpline as the call fails! And the chat line has stopped responding to me!
Very disappointing. May have to swap providers again which is a shame as it was a promising start. :-(
