Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

I wish I had checked the reviews on here before wasting my time, effort and money with this company. I bought 2 sims, one arrived quick the other to wrong address - hands up thus was my fault I rang them they promised to send to right address. 3 weeks later I've still not received it, they don't respond to any form of communication quickly if at all. I've made a complaint as they shared my details with a marketing firm in Pakistan without my consent and nit acknowledged my complaint. Now I think my details have been stolen I have submitted a subject access request and again nit acknowledge. Avoid this company like the plague! You gwt what you pay for I guess or not in my case. I can't even get hold of them to cancel both sims that I haven't even started to use.. beyond poor service!

Don't bother!

I have had 3 sims in 3 different devices over the last couple of months. All were working well until one of the sims (in my phone) suddenly was unable to make or receive calls. I have made numerous attempts to get through to customer services, you get cut off or have to queue for ages only to be told they're too busy and to call back later! I've emailed, fb messaged and raised tickets several times and so far not had a single reply. On the one occasion I actually spoke to an actual person, was just really fobbed off and told my sim is active and ok. I've turned my phone off/on, manually reconnected to the network as advised, it works for a while and then loses connection again. I've previously been on EE and 1p networks with no signal problems whatsoever, so don't understand what the problem is. Today I got through to someone on live chat who again tell me all is OK when it's not! Their advice is to take the sim out and reinsert which worked for all of 5 minutes. Also the app is now not working correctly. My 3 sims are duplicated in the app for some reason, and you can't now see any history or payments etc. I just can't be bothered with all this hassle and all the time I've wasted trying to get it across to them that there is a problem, so I'm afraid I'm off elsewhere and I do not recommend unless they improve customer service, app and phone problems.

I have never known such a crap company…

I have never known such a crap company my sister changed over to this company 3 weeks ago during calls it cuts off then when you try to call back its doesn't connect and on many ocassions we have phoned her saying number unknown so tied to call them about 5 times then their number disconects so through sent email still no reply I do think ee should remove this company from using their network

A total Shambles

Sadly I had a really rubbish experience. My expectations were low as it is a smaller company and was fairly cheap. I bought a sim only deal. Initially I had very little signal. My number ported over after 24hrs and my phone just showed no service regardless of my location for the rest of the day! I rang my number from the landline to test it, which just kept the continuous ringing tone from the landline, the trouble is my mobile didn’t ring at all so I’m likely to have missed calls with people thinking I’m ignoring them. Online customer service was unresponsive. In the end I decided to cut my losses and ditch and switch the same day back to my old provider. Porting my number out wasn’t easy either but that could be because I did it only 6hrs after porting in. A total shambles

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. After not being able to make calls I rang customer service who told me my bundle had been switched to roaming only, but couldn't tell me when or who had done so. I said I wanted to cancel and they directed me to their website, which directs you to the app. The "send email" function on the app which you need to use to cancel does not work. Back to the website, which says you can cancel by calling customer services. They direct me back to the website to log in to the account, but now my password has stopped working. Ok, click the forgot password link to email me a reset link - no email received. Back to the website to "raise a ticket" to get support. NO REPLY. Don't sign up to a contract with this disreputable operator, they'll do everything possible to stop you ever leaving.
