Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

Misleading rates

"Penny pro" PAYG sim card has a minimum spend of £5 per month in order to achieve the advertised call, message and data rates of 1p. This information is only visible in the terms and conditions. Surely customers shouldn't have to sieve through terms and conditions to find this information. I wonder how many other new customers have been duped by this.

Terrible customer service

So firstly they are cheap but that's the only good point. The SIM took over a week to arrive, then there is a massive delay when trying to make any calls, just hangs for ages then sometimes just fails. We selected to port over a number and the date you pick on the form apparently means nothing you will waits days for the actual transfer to occur. Contacted customer service to be told that is the industry standard and to just put up and shut up. AVOID At all costs!

dont try it!!!!!!!!!

i am just putting 1 star as there is not an option of 0... i ordered a sim card as it was very cheap (no wonder why) and i had so many problems .1. it said unlimited calls and text and a few days later my phone stopped working i called them up why is it not working they said i finished my minuets i told them i thought its unlimited they said it is and its only 3000 min officially but it isn't 2 i lost my phone i tried calling lost and found nobody answered 3.no good customer service i have much more things but my hand is hurting me... dont go there!!!!!!!!
