Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

Awful - do not use

They took an excessive amount of data from my account the first day I was with them. When I contacted them via chat the customer service agents could not understand very well and were no help. I then complained and they refused to investigate or escalate my complaint. The data usage was much more than any other provider I have used, and they even took data from me when my mobile data was switched off! Their app is incredibly low budget and most of the features do not work - so you need to contact customer services for everything. I had to contact them several times and each time their English skills and understanding were really, really poor. They cannot or will not offer much help. As a mobile provider it cannot be relied upon. In answer to your reply - Thank you for replying. I raised my complaint several times via the email you suggested and I did ask you to look into it in detail and investigate the issues. However, each response I received was very patronising and you failed to answer basic questions. You completely refused to admit you were wrong, even when I showed what my usage was. You refused to escalate my complaint when I requested it be taken further. So no, I will not be using you ever again.

If you planning to use mobile app do everything there from the begining, website and app are not compatible

I setup account on the website on PC, purchased Rechargeable card then decided to have everything on my smartphone. Unfortunately web account and mobile app cannot synchronize information between each other so I had to contact customer support for help. And they were (Tom) brilliant. Sorted everything pretty quick. The review that I've wrote about customer support is just one part of my experience of using Talk Home phone app. Actual reason of this app usage is to make a calls. And that is a different story. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make a cal to landline phones, and customer support did not helped me about this issue at all. Responses from CS where pretty quick, but they can advise just to reboot the app or phone. That is disappointment part. Unfortunately I had to install another app to make a international calls to landline phones.

Unbelievable shocking lack of customer…

Unbelievable shocking lack of customer service. Every month, without fail, at the same time, billing refresh, the SIM card fails. There then ensues a circus with the customer support who want me to reset my device, turn my network on/off, etc. rather than actually escalate the issue. Even after repeatedly requesting a network level support escalation, they actively ignore requests to raise. There is obviously a network profile provisioning issue as an mvno with a stale data token hangover, which needs a network level investigation and fix, but this incompetent company does not understand , and refuses to do a damn thing. Utter rubbish

Really impressive customer service

I contacted customer services about an issue and it was sorted out so quickly and without any complications. The chat was really easy to use and I didn't have to wait around for someone to answer. Really great customer service!

Rapid help using the chat app.

Contacted chat about a problem with my subscribed plan not showing in my account in the mobile app. The chat was answered in a few minutes. Tom resolved my problem within a minute of answering on the chat. Top class service.
