SWA has a duopoly on flying to Fort Lauderdale. I had to change my flight. The price went from $188 to $464. Congratulations SWA you are now like the other airlines.

Never book hotel through southwest.com

I booked flight tickets and hotel on southwest.com to Las Vegas to attend business meeting. When I tried to check in at planet Hollywood, my reservation was not there on hotel system. Southwest customer service not available at that time (7:00 PM Sunday). I did reservation again with a little bit more price and checked in. Next day called customer service, and able to talk with rep after waiting 30 mins, they called hotel and not able to resolve or identify the issue. Finally Southwest said some technical issues regarding hotel reservation and processed refund. Never ever book hotel or Car reservations on Southwest.com. Their systems cannot be trusted and their customer service is awful

If there were negative stars they would get 5

Long story short, mechanical issues, bad decisions, bad customer service and then a bad policy that ties the employees hands from doing the right thing. The broke their contract by failing to get us where we were going in time for our cruise. Their failure cost us over a thousand dollars, plus lost time on a cruise we paid for, stress, aggravation and disappointment. Their failure to offer any kind of refund, even in vouchers (our last choice), shows that the bottom line is more important than the customer. Ironic for a company that supposedly runs on heart

Southwest the Best Airline in the USA

Southwest is the best Domestic airline in the USA, their flight schedules are convenient and affordable. Their no fees for luggage and date exchange and their Rewards program has been great for our College son to travel from San Diego to San Francisco during holidays for free several times. Thank you and keep the good work.

great experience

i use southwest at least once per month, and my favorite 2 things about southwest is the bag allowance and their flexibility, i make last minute changes very often, and the staff is always very helpful.

Nonsense "No Show" policy

I have booked round trip flight from Burbank to Tulsa (on 08/10/2014) and Return on (08/14/2014) Confirmation number: M68QR5. The Burbank to Tulsa ticket was "Wanna Get Away" and Return flight is booked as "Anytime"(Which is a flexible ticket with much higher price). Due to heavy traffic I could not reach up to catch the outbound flight in Burbank and due to which "No Show" appeared on my outbound flight but they cancelled my whole Itinerary and forfeited all the charges So I lost my return ticket as well although I have not travelled yet. Once my ticket has been cancelled I received an email which has link to Southwest "No Show" policy. It states that only "Wanna Get Away" and "DING" type tickets are subjected to "No Show" policy but they forfeited my return ticket as well although its a "Anytime" type ticket. When I called Southwest customer care they say that its their policy to forfeit all the amount on the itinerary although I'm willing to travel on the rest of the flights on the itinerary which does not make any sense.

The Best

Love the company, its policies and its employees. Wish more companies would be run this way. I have spoken to various employees on flights, etc. and they love working for the company. How often do you hear that? AND they have a wonderful sense of humor. I share my love of Southwest whenever I can. I am lucky to be with a company that rates in the same category -- they also truly do care about their customers AND their employees and it shows --- it also shows in the steady annual growth of our company every year for nearly 27 years. So these types of policies do pay off for everyone.

Good rates

found some of the best rates on a last minute flight to Florida. Only downfall is that I had to drive to Manchester for the flight, but well worth it.
