Don't ignore the 1-Star Reviews. They're real experiences that will also happen to you if you choose Sonic. When I inquired about car shipping from MD to CA, I was quoted $795. I confirmed the exact shipping date that I needed weeks in advance and was assured by Grace Flores that it'd be no problem, so I pay the $200 deposit. Sonic pulls a class a BAIT and SWITCH move. Two days before the ship date, I get a call from Luke Howard saying the cheapest truck available for my shipping date is $1550 - DOUBLE the estimate I was given. He starts making nonsense excuses like it's a popular route, trucks are full, etc. etc. But what I'm wondering is, if they're truly professionals in this industry, why wouldn't they know this ahead of time when giving me the quote? They start to give more excuses like "$795 is a cheapest a driver has accepted previously for this route, so that's what we quoted." It's all nonsense. I already know how Sonic will respond to review. They're going to say they can't guarantee the price when making a reservation. They need to understand their market demand better, rather than BAIT and SWITCH customers. Anyway, because I needed to ship my car, I book the $1550. Luke said he'd give me the driver's phone number; he never did and I needed to follow-up. The phone number he did give me wasn't the driver. That person hands me off to someone else. Luke said I'd be getting a 6-car truck; I got a 12-car truck. Luke said I'd be able to track the location of my truck - nope, not available. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND SONIC. TLDR - Don't trust Sonic unless you're ready to pay DOUBLE the estimate they give you.

I should have headed the warning and the BBB! Save yourself the headache and just check BBB first! This company is know for scamming and poaching clients. I wanted to get my car transported. I was previously quoted 925. Sonic said they could beat that price at 695. 2 days later they contacted me saying I now have to pay 1300 for the vehicle or pay a 200 cancelation fee. I was promised one price then they tried to strong arm me into a cancelation fee

Was a great experience. My first time requesting this kind of service. They tried to get me a lower price but the prices vary from the original quote. But I'm happy I have my car with me. Data, the driver was very professional and took care of my vehicle and delivered it on time.

Recently (last week) used Sonic to transport a vehicle from the Phila area to South Florida. Pricing was comparable to some of the competitors, but what made me use Sonic was the number of positive reviews on TrustPilot and even if a slightly negative review Sonic has a 100% reach out to resolve issues. No other company came close to the very large number of positive reviews. This industry is noted for having some bad players, but rest assured Sonic is above all that. David was my consultant and he was great! Even during the weekend if David wasn’t readily available his assistant stepped right up. The driver they utilized for the actual transport was fabulous and took very good care of our older Saab. Car even arrived in record time! We will use Sonic again and I highly recommend David and his company.

Harry from Sonic transport made getting my vehicle shipped from Ohio out to me in Colorado easy and painless. He gave me a great upfront price with 0 surprise fees. The vehicle was picked up on a Saturday and arrived at my front door by Monday afternoon. Harry kept me updated from the time I booked to the time the vehicle arrived at my door. Jasmine, with Sonic Transportation was so helpful. I was up against time as it related to having my vehicle transported from Cali to Texas. The previous driver that was contracted via another Transportation Co.backed out of the agreement to transport my vehicle. I contacted Sonic Transportation & spoke with Jasmine. She guaranteed me that my vehicle would be picked up & transported by a certain date. It was not only picked up by that date, but actually picked up a day earlier. I worked with Derek Hicks to transport my car from Georgia to State of Washington. The price was very reasonable. I was given a 2 day window, the driver picked up my car not far from where I lived(approx. 1/2 mile). The car came within the expected delivery range with not a scratch on it! I met driver approx 5 min drive from my home in Washington to pick up car.. Overall, it was great experience!! I would recommend.

I signed a contract for a service from FL to AR. Not the lowest or highest price. The disappointment comes when I need to cancel within 24 hours and they want to charge $200. They did absolutely nothing. nothing, but email a contract and charging $200! The website when you google them has highlighted NO CHARGE if cancelled before a truck is assigned. But the contract protects them by saying they have up to 5 days of the pickup day to get a truck or you owe them! No way do they have any grace period before the car has a driver to cancel without paying them. I’ll not use them again and will add I hope others will beware. Of course they cover themselves. It’s not their fault if they cancel or can’t find a driver and are not responsible for any car damages. Awful!
