Someone who listened and explained
For the past 18 months I have had a very difficult time with So Energy. We returned to them after six months abroad and I now regret it! They have been inefficient, making mistakes with my account and have the n blamed me and harassed me for extra payments. When my small debit balance is paid off I would love to leave them However, in order to get a new fixed tariff in the meantime I note that you have to agree to paying £50 per utility if you leave before the end of the agreement. I bet their chief executive and shareholders are laughing all the way to the bank!
Not too bad as energy companies go. They all have their annoyances, but found that So Energy quite reasonable - they allow you to adjust your monthly payments, within reason. You can have seasonal paying (ie pay lower amounts in summer months, more in winter). And even when my credit was massive a few years ago, they agreed to pay me some back.
Avery warm and friendly voice very calm and softly spoken person and very polite. The lady talked to me letting me know what she was doing had a problem getting my account up so she sorted it and gave me a good deal helped me with my account. I appreciate what she done for me i feel less stress that my account is sorted please can you thank the lady for me. Well done keep up the good work that you are doing yours nigel reeves thankyou once again.

I can't really fault So Energy. I've had nothing go wrong, everything has worked as expected and when I have contacted them for something, it's been resolved asap. I even had my payments reduced after the first couple of months as I wasn't using that much. I like that I'm using renewable energy that doesn't cost the earth (no pun intended) and I couldn't find a better deal anywhere else, so had no reason to move.

Awful company, unable to contact unless they think you owe them money but not when they take the same payment 3 times. Sending multiple “final bills”. Glad to finally be rid of them.
Highly impressed with the way the representative dealt with the issue I had. The representative was very helpful, polite, friendly and professional in dealing with me.
Moved house and took a photo of our gas meter at the last point of leaving my old house. Got a bill from so energy and paid it in full. Then got a 'revised' bill with estimated reading on and an extra £51 to pay. After several emails back and forth Marcio kindly credited my account with the outstanding amount and resolved my issues. Thanks you.

Easy to understand options for Gas & Electricity for the next 12 months, the bonus being a price reduction on last year's figures.
It was a simple process to review the fees that I am paying on Money Supermarket.com, which showed that your offering was good value, so I renewed with a new Plan. I wasn't interested in whether it was "Green" or not, I just wanted the most affordable plan.

I have been waiting since early Mar for the installation of a 3 phase meter. Despite 'So'claiming 42 day leadtime on the website I am still on a waiting list of unknown length and with no position or proposed date. I have spoken to at least 8 Call Handlers and, whilst some are helpful, I seldom get a meaningful response or promised update. There is most certainly a company policy to avoid putting anything in writing. I have been told, however, that there are 'hundreds' of customers in the same position because 'So's subcttr has not got the qualified engineers to fulfill the task. My complaint is with Najinda ( a Complaint Senior who sits one level below deadlock ) but he/she has failed to make contact. The latest advice from 'So' is to switch supplier. Avoid this business at all costs.
Called today as indoor display was showing an excess amount more than normal before 9am and I could not see why .
