Straightforward to fix tariff from current variable with same company and see worthwhile on projected savings. Comparison sites show only very small further savings with two other companies which seemed to give no commitment to green energy sources so have stuck with so-energy
Addressed my issue politely and easily
Very polite and helpful agent whom I think have sorted out my request although I can't see the change when I log into my account. Hopefully, it will update overnight and I don't have to make another call.

They weren't even my energy provider and yet I have had an absolute headache and misery from them for the last 3 YEARS. I purchased and moved into my property in 2022 and my provider was UW from the beginning. SO Energy decided to send me debt collection letters and threats non-stop for the last 3 years, despite me showing them multiple times evidence of when I moved into the property and the fact that the debt was to the previous owner - which they AGREED with. Even after raising 3 formal complaints with them which they 'resolved' and closed and PROMISED me I would never receive another debt collection letter again, I have received yet another one this week. An absolute disgrace and sham of a company harassing innocent people who had nothing to do with them in the first place.
SO Energy and Frea at the call centre were excellent in sorting out my transfer to another deal without further paperwork.

so energy is so far the best energy company. great prices, very good customer service and renewal each year has been effortless. With them life's never been much easier compared to the other energy companies i have used.

Easy fast efficient
I was happy to try out the company but unfortunately their services was not up to par. It cost me greatly and also affected my community. I will have to decline going further due to inability to communicate properly. I have not even been able to reach them to inform them of my decision.
Was informed contract was nearly due for renewal, checked comparison sites for deals. None were as good as offered by SO Energy. Have had no issues in the past with them so renewed with them. Easy to navigate website to keep track of usage.
I have been a So-Energy customer for over 5 years without issue but since around 3 years ago I have had so many issues with trying to access my account on their website, I have emailed,texted,phoned and have had little or no help with the issue, I have used different browsers as they suggested with improvement, I even used a brand new computer straight out of its box with no spyware protection or any other internet protections and still no way to access my account to input meter readings. Today 18-06-25 I used the 100% correct password and user name and still no way in.... How can this issue not be fixed? Am I the only one having issues?
The company made it easy for us to renew & to lock into another fixed rate tariff. I found the cost every month to be very good compared with what some people pay every month, I also like the fact I can increase my monthly payment if I feel I’m using more energy than expected.
Want more communication about our bills going g up and not putting people in arrears as I have had this twice happen to me but apart from that it good
A `complaints manager` has NOT contacted me - you said "within 5 working days". Also, you sent me a link for the complaints email as I wish to add more info - (because you WRONGLY put my name and address on an account billing and address for a supply property which I have NO connection with) - however, this email address does NOT work - the `postmaster` returns it as "not found at So energy". Therefore I have emailed you on the normal email, but you have not replied. This has caused me a lot of Distress & Anxiety, not knowing if this is Identity theft or whatever. You could have just told me what had happened - AND it would have been nice for Laurence to have replied to my Trustpilot review as he PROMISED - NO, instead you made my issue a `Complaint` - which will rumble on for another 8weeks giving me more stress! Why do we have to communicate via Trustpilot?. All I want is to know if I was the one who is associated with the Direct Debit and whether you have made a credit search on me. It would be nice if you could tell me how this issue was caused. I have had to sign up to the Credit Agencies to get my report and may have to pay for online daily reports. Please let me know what I have asked for. Reminder:- An Erroneous Transfer is when you were switched without your consent - in my case I was made a billing/address account with NO consent.
