Tried calling snap rentals to say I will be returning the vehicle 1 hour later but could not get through on the phone line for more than 30min. Then I receive an email that I will be charged a 200$ fine as they could not contact me a day before my scheduled drop off date , which is an absolutely a lie. Why would you contact a customer a day before ! It doesn’t make sense. The only communication I got was an email. Somebody at snap rentals just trying to make an extra buck or does not aware of their bookings status.

Everything went very smoothly

Car offered was of very low quality. 200K driven. Brakes squeaking with a grind, dented and scratched all over, had a funny smell. Made me go back to refuel because it was a hairline below the top part of Full or risk a $25 service fee.

Online booking and ability to check in in advance process was good. Efficient pickup and drop off. Staff friendly and helpful. Very economical compared to other providers used in the past.

Amazing service both with booking our car for a few days while we were visiting whānau in Sth Island but the shuttle service also awesome friendly and all round Miharo koutou!

Car not really equipped for going up and down the mountain Should have told me this Won’t hire from a company not at the airport again. Just inconvenient

We used after hours pick up and drop off, and all instructions given for this were clear and simple. Vehicle was clean and tidy, and ran well.
