Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.
This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

I never thought that to obtain water in this quality by home filtering is possible. 30 days no questions asked return policy encouraged me. Fast delivery, ease of set up and the quality of water is amazing. I have 3 more weeks to test but so far it looks like I found the fountain of life. Whatsapp support is also very efficient. The compact machine we purchased is well-manufactured and works exceptionally well. We encountered an issue with our initial machine and reached out to customer support. They were extremely responsive and promptly arranged for a new machine to be delivered while coordinating the pick-up of the faulty one. I would like to give a huge shout-out to Sarah for her outstanding assistance throughout this process!

We have had our Sküma since February and I can’t imagine life without it! We are actually drinking water which wasn’t very often before as even through the filter jugs it didn’t taste great. My adult kids were surprised how good it is. To start with I had some difficulty with getting the hot dispense right but was too lazy to follow it up….however, while ordering my mineral infusions, I mentioned it to Alex and he sent a video explaining how to set it up properly. Wish I’d done it earlier but it is fantastic!! I would highly recommend this product! It’s pretty life changing😊

I wasn't disappointed when I received my Skuma after anxiously waiting for over a year. The Gen 2 product is awesome. Very simple to use and the taste of the water was like no ordinary water- very refreshing and invigorating for every taste and thirst for it.It really does what it says it do and it's well built.Great product.

I got the machine knowing these are early days so was not surprised when there were some minor problems. The most annoying of which was the gradually forming pool of water under the machine which was sorted out by using an absorbent microfibre cloth to soak up the water and clean daily. Other than that, it’s a great little affordable unit and now that I have had this for about 3 months, I have found a balance in the maintenance and the usage. It does certainly require some looking after and constant refilling and emptying as we go through about 12 litres a day as a family of 5. But it works … and that’s my point. I appreciate the fact that being a small startup is really difficult but it’s great that I can reach out to Alex personally who has been responsive. I would also however point out that the cost of mineral refills are rather on the expensive side so would hope this was addressed by the manufacturers.

We have been using a Skuma for a few months and it had a fault. Contacted customer service and after a little frustration of waiting on reply’s Sarah got to work and quickly had a replacement sent to us which restored all our faith in this company that they really do look after the customers. The water from this amazing machine is second to none. I ditched the plastic water and only drink this now. I would 100% recommend this machine it does what it says and delivers crisp, clean, clear water. Don’t even look at others this machine wins hands down and Sarah really does deliver what she says.

I’m very happy with my purchase. Its very well designed and it gives you pure water or water with your choice of minerals in it. Add a tiny squeeze of lemon or lime to it and you can taste the flavour so much more than with standard filtered water. Customer service are very friendly and will resolve any issues you have so you don’t need to worry about that. I bought this to get away from using bottled water and this stuff is as good as or better than bottled water. I recommend this for anyone who cares about the quality of water they put in their body.
