Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.

This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
It’s mostly great but ……
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Purified and healthy water at your fingertips
I am one of those people who strives to thoroughly investigate before buying a product, especially if that product in some way will determine your health, and what could possibly influence our health more than water? I had been reading and rereading specialized websites, scientific papers, and customer reviews for a long time, and the more I did, the more convinced I became that Skuma was one of the best (if not the best) option nowadays when it comes to a reverse osmosis system and water alkalization solution. And now, after several weeks of using the product, I can say that I couldn't be happier. The equipment is great in terms of design. Compact and stylish, it doesn't draw attention at all, and the little noise it makes is barely noticeable during the filtration process. The setup process is incredibly simple, nothing like those solutions out there where you have to install complex mechanisms in your plumbing systems. Skuma makes everything incredibly easy. But what truly deserves a separate mention is the water. I have noticed its effects in multiple aspects already, and I am convinced that it is not a placebo. Better digestion, clearer and more abundant urine, and a great feeling of satiety that I couldn't achieve before (when I used to drink bottled water). As if that wasn't enough, as many other people have mentioned, the customer service is excellent. Super responsive, kind and honest. I can't recommend Skuma enough.

Good decent people with great customer service
More than the product itself Alex is a pleasure to deal with and I can only say that they are great people with great ethics and deserve to be successful. Above and beyond service
I have had a bit of a rollercoaster of a ride with these guys and as a result I decided not to hold onto my unit. But thanks to the team at Skuma I have every faith when you make a purchase with them you’ll be more than satisfied

Amazing customer services 5*…
I don’t normally write reviews but felt I had to as I wanted to highlight the fantastic customer services of this company, I had an issue initially with the hydro boost bottles leaking and once someone contacted me back (being able to speak on WhatsApp was invaluable) it was rectified and a replacement sent out on next day delivery, I’m not great with technology and an amazing guy walked me through the set up with messages and videos and really saved the day! I don’t think customer service exists like this anymore so I want to say a massive Thankyou for all the help given it was absolutely amazing

Skuma Review
Skuma Review I have been researching water filters for a number of years and concluded there is no such thing as the perfect water filter. There is a lot of mis-information on the internet with very limited scientific papers to back-up the research. Reverse osmosis with added minerals seems to be one of the best options. If you want a countertop system in the UK that comes down to Skuma or Osmio Zero. I decided to purchase the Skuma purely based on price and running costs. The cost of the Skuma filter seems reasonable compared to the Osmio Zero. The Skuma does produce more waste water than the Osmio but the filter should last longer as it’s not working as hard. The Skuma waste water tank is a bit on the small side and needs emptying frequently. I think the biggest plus for the Skuma is the way it introduces the minerals to the RO water. You have the choice of several water infusions that best suit your taste and needs. They are a bit expensive (cheaper if you subscribe) but you do have the option to make your own if you prefer. The supplied hydration boost taste fantastic and I look forward to tasting the other options available. The packaging of the minerals is also very sexy. I got a glass bottle for storing the water in the fridge that is also very good quality. The hot water function works as well as any other instant water kettles available. You have the option of setting a higher temperature if the water is not hot enough, although this may lead to more coughing and spluttering. In my opinion it’s fine for a quick cup of coffee but not really the best for tea. I do have a couple of concerns with the Skuma against the Osmio Zero that hopefully will be addressed when Skuma become more established. The Osmio has the option of de-scaling and sanitising the machine. They also sell spare parts. As I am away from home for 3 months at a time. Is it is safe to leave the filter and machine unused or will bacteria grow on the filter and internal tank? I would really like the option of sanitising the machine. I had a few problems with delivery and had to contact customer services. Alex was fantastic and quickly resolved the issues. I must say this level of service is unusual these days and I am very happy that I decided to support this young company and wish them great success. I think they have produced a very unique product.
