Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.
This is the third review I have written…
This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
It’s mostly great but ……
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

Skuma is an amazing reverse osmosis system. The water tastes extremely pure. You can get multiple temperatures of water on demand. Very easy to use. Highly recommend.

Amazing, received it next day!
Amazing, received it next day! Great customer service on Whatsapp, prompt delivery, love the design, and my nutrionist recommended an RO system for the home. Skuma was the only one and the most convenient solution for remineralising the water with minerals and vitamins - they produce it here in Bath, UK. Shout out to the team, bless you!

Customer care is a real priority for this company
I decided to move to Skuma for our family drinking water, buying bottled water has never sat well with me due to the plastic waste, so I thought it was about time to solve this issue. After putting in many hours of research Skuma seemed to tick all the boxes. I have read the reverse osmosis water removes not only all the bad stuff but also much of the good, so Skuma with the re-mineralisation infusion cartridges seemed to be a brilliant solution. When I received the unit I was keen to do a TDS water test, my tap water was reading 297 and after running it through the Skuma it was coming out at 37!! Amazing, obviously if you add the infusion this reading will go up but its only adding good minerals i.e. magnesium etc. The water from this unit tastes amazing, I descaled our kettle on the day that we got the water filter and now 4 weeks in it is still shiny and new, I live in a particularly hard water area and the kettle would need descaling every month minimum! I have to say that the first unit did have a few problems, I think this is in part to the unit being mishandled by the courier company, after speaking to Ruya this was sorted, the machine was collected and a new one delivered in its place. Due to the nature of my business I have to deal with many suppliers on a daily basis and I must say that the Skuma customer service has been fantastic, particularly Ruya who has helped me out on a number of occasions. Since having the machine, I can’t ever see going back to bottled water, both my kids love it, plus it has encouraged us all to drink more! I have already recommended it to family and friends. If you are in the market for this sort of thing then you can certainly buy a Skuma without any worry, water is fantastic, customer service and after sales is a real priority for this company, its very refreshing to deal with professional outfit who care about their product and customers. I only wish we had it sooner!

A great portable concept.
In an era where access to clean and safe drinking water is paramount, this RO water filtration unit has emerged as a portable, compact and very convenient system to have your free of radicals H2O on tap, the 2 different water tanks are easy to load and empty seamlessly. Despite having some technical issues at first, the team has had my inconveniences ultimately resolved.
