Hot water issues
I’ve very happy with my skuma the only thing I have a issue with is the hot water just not hot enough for tea and coffee with milk

Not fit for purpose depending on your water type. Three years extended product and customer service warranty and completely ignored for 6 months when dealing diedtly with the CEO. £600 out of pocket with a product that worked for a total of 2 months of a 8 month period.
This is the third review I have written for Skuma. I had various difficulties with my machine. On my previous trust pilot review, I stated that the company and I were working together to find an outcome that worked for us both. This has now happened and we have agreed a solution we are both satisfied with, which is why I have given a 5 star rating.
I do like my machine but there are some things I don’t like. It can be a lot of work at times. I dread doing the cleaning bit, the worst of it being getting the filter out of the machine. I’m 76 and I haven’t got the strength to do this. In order to get enough strength I have to put the machine on the floor and put 100% of my strength into it. It’s probably ok if you’re a young fit male. The water isn’t really hot enough for tea but saying that it does make a decent cup. I’m not sure the filter lasts a year, especially if you are a family. I changed mine after about eight months and I live on my own. The infusions can work out expensive but since using the machine I hardly ever have cramp issues. It’s nice to get rid of my kettle. Filling the machine is a bit of a nuisance every day and because I’m in a very hard water area I waste an awful lot of water down the sink (I don’t have a garden). I paid extra for a tube to take the extra water straight into the sink (very overpriced). The downside of this is that the water removed from the machine is so bad that it stains the sink! Thanks Thames Water. When I’ve had problems Skuma have done their best to help me, I just don’t want the problems. I’m wondering if a new machine will be coming onto the market with some of these things ironed out. So, although these are a lot of negatives I do like my machine and wouldn’t be without it. It just needs improvements.

I love my Skuma and the water tastes amazing and knowing if filters out all the bad stuff in the water it encourages me to drink more water. The infusions are really good making sure I get all the minerals my body needs

So happy to have a British engineered countertop reverse osmosis system available. The water tastes infinitely better than tap water and the glass bottles are great to keep your pure water cold in the fridge. Once you've got it set up it's very easy to use and the instant hot water feature is amazing. Highly recommended. Thanks team.

We’ve finally got rid of bottled water thanks to Sküma and happy to provide the whole family including our little ones with clean and great tasting water free from microplastics and other nasty stuff. Our dealing with the CS was great when we had a question, we have always received prompt responses and the solution offered had worked.

I appreciate the CEO's personal involvement in resolving our issue. While I'm updating this review to reflect the improved service we're now receiving through direct communication, I feel it's important to provide candid feedback about our initial experience. The initial customer service response through email was disappointingly slow and lacked proactive updates, which caused unnecessary frustration. However, since establishing direct contact with management, the level of support and communication has significantly improved. We now feel properly looked after, which demonstrates the kind of service standard one would expect. That said, We love our skuma machine. It’s a great idea made simple and is now a vital part of our lives! We only drink from Skuma and can’t recommend it enough. We hope to see more awesome initiatives from Skuma in the near future.

The older I grow the more health becomes a part of my journey. UKs tap water has always been rubbish and even after installing a water softener, my concerns with chlorine and microplastics were next in line. This is where skumawater comes in, I purchased the RO filter and the product shipped very quickly. Easy to install and the product was designed very well, once you set it up, you dont need to worry about anything else. The water is so pure that it wont necessarily hydrate the human body. This is where their infusion kit comes in to save the day, you can cater your life style to the infusion but i highly reccomend the strength booster as a good all rounder.. I have yet to try the others as the less obvious benefits are the taste, smoothness and taginess of each infusion. All in all im happy with this product and I see it as a investment.

Binned the kettle won’t drink tap water again. The whole family loves the unit. It’s easy to use and looks smart. Tastes great very happy with it highly recommend.

Skuma is a start up company which I have had in my life now for 16 months. Customer service is second to none they always there if you need assistance. The Skuma machine is part of my daily life/routine I filter drinking water also for my coffee, it’s changed how I drink my water and will continue to be a part of my life going forward! Thank you Skuma
