Very easy to book a holiday. Good, clear instructions. Prompt responses when required.

I went to the Destinations Show to meet the Riviera people in person. The reps were very efficient, listened to what I wanted and came up with a solution. I have used Riviera before and find them an excellent company to deal with.

Have recently booked a Douro River cruise for next year in celebration of a special Wedding anniversary. Many thanks to Sharon for taking us through the booking process with a professional and friendly nature.

As usual (8 trips now) the booking experience online was seamless. Yay!

Phoned Riviera and spoke to Sharon who guided us through booking a better holiday to Peru than we had originally thought of. She was very helpful and professional. We have been with Riviera before and went back because we have alway been pleased with the quality of their holidays and the level of service we have received

We booked a guided tour to Sicily in June using Riviera’s website. This was an all inclusive package, including flights and hotels. It was remarkably easy to do and everything worked smoothly. My only quibble, and it is a small one, is why I needed to create an account password having at least 14 characters.

Second booking with Riviera using a ‘Welcome Home’ discount offered following our first Guided Tour to Japan. Excellent customer service throughout, using email and then a scheduled phone call to complete the booking.

I needed additional information before booking our River Cruise so phoned and spoke to Shana. She was friendly, knowledgeable and patient and held our booking so that I was able to discuss different options with our travelling companions. She made the whole booking experience less stressful. So good to be able to speak to a human being!

Booked a holiday yesterday for one of two available dates in 2026. Really should have selected the other one, but when requested this afternoon, Riviera wants to charge £40. It can only just have been over the 24 hour window when I rang back, but they won't budge on this. Considering this is my first holiday with Riviera and the trip is not until 2026, I think it's very harsh (OK so yes, it's in accordance with the booking conditions, but how jobsworth!). Not a good start to our relationship!
