The booking experience was seamless. The lady I dealt with was very knowledgable and helpful- sending me additional information to help me decide about my holiday and then ringing me back to complete the booking. I was never rushed and left with the feeling that I was in secure hands with contact details for the person who had administered the booking.

We had various querties regarding a booking for the Italy - Cinque Terre tour in September 2026. The Riviera Sales Executive, Laurie Mathieson went out of his way to investigate and resolve our queries over a number of phone calls, and we were very happy to book this holiday, our 7th with Riviera.

I booked a Solo’s River Cruise online and it was quick and easy to do.

Riviera Travel is a very good holiday company. The staff are helpful, trustworthy and kind.

We booked our holiday with Riviera Travel with great confidence. The Travel Counsellor was extremely helpful and very patient on the call. She demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, was clear in her explanations and knowledgeable about the holiday chosen and the company. The documents came through very quickly and it gave us the opportunity to check through whilst the call was still fresh in our minds.

Booking was straightforward. Niki new her stuff and explained everything clearly, and patiently answered our questions. Communications so far have been excellent. We are looking forwards to our holiday.

All information I needed to book solo holiday was passed to me so booking was easy, staff were excellent.

Riviera have been my travel company of choice since being on my own. Their solo holidays are excellent and tour managers top quality. Their booking agents are very helpful, go the extra mile to ensure you get the best holiday and, when booking with friends, that you fly as a group and have rooms in proximity. I cannot rate them highly enough

Nicki was our contact and she was most helpful with answering our numerous enquiries about the tour. She was prompt in replying to e mails and called us back by phone exactly at the time arranged by us and our friends who are travelling with us. She was very efficient when taking all our details for the actual booking too

Easy helpful agent

The boat was great and so were the people. The food and drink were wonderful and the excursions interesting. Two negatives: resident singer dreadful and no excursion to Giverny. The reason given was that this place was not open until April 1. Why wouldnt a professional team not know this- strange. I did not get an email informing me of this but many others did. They said that they were not offered the chance to cancel, however. A pity this happened but I have to say that it was a good cruise despite this failing.

A simple telephone call with a delightful member of staff made the process easy and secure. She asked me about my recent river cruise and what I enjoyed the most and showed good personal skills throughout the call.

I booked online and at the payment section the system buffered for quite some time and I wasn’t sure if my payment had gone through. I decided to call but when going through the options on the automated answering the selection on the keypad was not working. I hope this had been rectified. I then checked my email to find confirmation of my booking so all was well. Would have been nice to get through to someone though.
