Good product, bad service

The mattress is good, but the service was really bad. - I was only informed that selecting a date and time wasn’t possible after purchase, even after selecting it at checkout. Made moving day to my new house stressful. - Order was inadvertently cancelled without my knowledge, resulting in a change of delivery date. - Mattress turned up but the pillows I’d also ordered weren’t delivered with it. I’m still waiting on these

500 Ortho Hybrid issues from 18 months

I am writing this review after owning the mattress for 6 years. I purchased the 500 Ortho Hybrid in 2019. This was the best mattress I had ever slept on however 2 years later I contacted this company to alert them to the fact the mattress was starting to noticeably dip where our bodies lie. As the mattress is guaranteed for 15 years they sent an assessor round who only measured the surface of the mattress and decided the mattress was OK. We are now 6 years down the line and the mattress has dipped considerably. The centre of the mattress is still in perfect condition and is very comfortable, however where our bodies lie the inside of the mattress has severely compressed causing a lot of discomfort. I asked for another assessment but was told they would set up an appointment and if no issues were found we would have to pay a £40 call out fee. I have been dealing with the assessors who have confirmed that although they do some compressions tests they can't confirm if the compression we are experiencing will be enough to justify a refund. So to sum up I would not waste your money buying this mattress because after a couple of years you may need a new one!! If you buy a sprung mattress it will stand the test of time much better than foam (in my 57 years of experience)!

Rem Fit Bamboo Charcoal Pillow

purchased 23/6/25 - quick delivery - excellent packaging - the best pillow i have ever owned by far! - only had it just over 2 weeks but yeah, i am thoroughly impressed!. Great height, supportive, a joy to sleep on - good for back or side sleeping - compliments my memory foam mattress - impressed! - great investment!

Promised delivery on the 24th Dec 2024, it did not arrive nor any communication as to where it was, only a tracking number with no information. And it still hasn't arrived!

Delivery issues

Bought mattress on dec 17 with expectations it would arrive before Christmas but was offered the Dec 27 as earliest date then a date later they cancelled it and said Jan 2nd. I asked to cancel but they convinced me they could reschedule to the 27th but of course I’ve had no confirmation despite sending several emails so very doubtful I will get it today.

Changing mattress

First delivery absolutely fine. Decided mattress was too soft and wanted to change to a more firm one, 1st delivery cancelled and changed. Then our mattress was collected Saturday morning and ours was supposed to be delivered Saturday afternoon but only the pillow arrived no mattress. Now have no mattress for God knows how long, their 'looking into it'. Communication is shocking. We would like this rectifying ASAP.

One pillow works!

The pillows were recommended by my son and have definitely improved the quality of my sleep. I used to use 2-3 pillows as I have reflux and shoulder problems and after only 3 days using the one pillow I have found improvement in both areas

A six star service

The customer service of this company is second to none, replying to emails swiftly and appropriately, fully deserving this five star review. Unfortunately the service provided by the third party delivery company - Rhenus Home Delivery - was the polar opposite, not even deserving the one star review I gave then. They made sure that when they sent me curt emails saying "Not delivering today" it was a "No Reply" text!. REM-Fit, very unfairly, had to take all thd flak, and even made a generous goodwill gesture. A most excellent company.

Several complaints and issues still outstanding

Order RM-30837 We chose to go with this company due to its award winning mattress and great reviews, however have been really disappointed in the process of dealing with them and still haven't received the product we've ordered. They delivered the mattress okay, but the bed frame has been out of stock which they did not say till after we ordered and there was no delivery date. When asked to give us a delivery date they gave reassurances with an estimated delivery and a promise of a partial refund. Neither which have materialised. To our great disappointment we haven't been able to use the mattress we ordered (worth over 650 pounds) without the bedframe. To give you an indication of the bed frame, we ordered it on the 2nd of December and still no sign of it! There is no number to call either and chat is automated, so have been trying to solve this via email. I appreciate if you could look into this further and for others buying it's good to be mindful of long waiting times.

Good product yet with delivery issues

I researched quite a lot before deciding to purchase my REM-Fit 600 Elite King Size Mattress. Overall, I have been pleased with the product choice and value for money. The ordering process, communication, speed and service level at point of sale and Customer Support back up from a caring team have all been entirely satisfactory. All was going well until the actual delivery date when things changed. My original delivery date was cancelled at the last moment. An apology by text from the delivery agent/carrier promised an alternative date notification within 24 hours but it never materialised. Some 36 hours later I had to contact Customer Support to chase for an answer. They responded speedily but with a further 10 day delivery delay. When the delivery actually took place the main item, the mattress itself, did not arrive. I learned later in the day, it had been on the van but was not attached to my order so the agent didn't bother to question my enquiry as to why it was missing and investigate on site. Instead he dropped the other goods in my hallway and legged it before I could get to the van myself. Worse, he had removed my old mattress and seemed more keen to get away than to deal with my concerns. I contacted Customer Support immediately and, again, matters were escalated quickly. After a stressful day of phone calls and messages a reschedule promise for the following day was fixed. The same delivery agent returned the next day. He was defensive, rude and confrontational so I had to take him to task over his behaviour towards my wife and I. Consequently my entire experience has been mixed, hence the three star review only....very good in parts and exceptionally poor in one....the delivery agent, Rhenus Home Delivery. All of which is a pity because I was extremely pleased with the purchase itself and received good vibes from the product reviews and customer service through the point of sale and support. Regrettably, the appalling attitude and service level of the Rhenus' representatives soured my experience. As a footnote, Customer Support listened attentively to my concerns so one hopes this weak point will be rectified so others will not have similar problems. It has spoiled what otherwise would have been a positive eCommerce purchase.
