Just got done changing our Red Pocket cell service from CDMA to GSMA on two phones using the online Chat. We made the switch because there are a few places we regularly travel to that GSMA has coverage and CDMA does not. The CS agent was awesome getting the phones switched over. By the time we were done switching things over, both phones were already ported to the GSMA SIMS and working perfect.

I can't say enough good things about CS Leslie. I have worked with her on the technical support chat at least twice. She is well-informed, patient, very responsive, keeps me informed when she needs to take just a few more minutes to investigate an issue, and so on. Very very good agent. This kind of tech support is what keeps me with RP, in addition to great RP rates.

I've had red pocket for a little over a year and have had difficulty keeping my phones active even thought I use auto pay. The last outage I had to call support eight times before my problem was corrected. Two of these times I was disconnected and had to start the process from scratch. I spent in total four hours on the phone, mainly on hold, waiting for my problem to be corrected. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened but it will be the last. I can see another carrier in my near future.

RedPocket offers such a great value wireless service at a price far lower than the big retail wireless providers. Granted that the data speed may at times be not that great but in most locations and most of the time, they are quite fast and more than sufficient to be used on the go. Their customer service is also great despite the fact that it's a small company and they don't have enough support staff. Big wireless providers with so many support staff on their payroll even lags in the quality and speed of their customer service. So, RP is definitely better in that category. Only feedback I have is that RP should make the self services be easy to understand and that they should go through smoothly without the need of their customer support. They could improve their web tools and apps to these self services with the right information and reliability.

I had tons of problems with setup of my account - your website is not good when it comes to transferring an account there. The chat person (RP CS Shirley) was very helpful and got my problems solved. I was going to leave and ask for a refund, but she got everything taken care of and working. As to the website, instructions don't always pertain to actual process, automated emails didn't send, in places instructions say "you can do xxxx" but don't actually tell you how. It was very frustrating.
