Red pocket used to be good. But over the last couple years they have become progressively worse. Very poor customer service with such difficulty understanding them. It takes so long to achieve any resolution to a problem that I have memorized their ‘on-hold’ tune! The latest fiasco is that I cancelled a line on our account to find out that a month later they charged us for that line. I went to our account and found it had been reactivated. They said they can’t give a refund because it is more than 7 days since the charge!! But they charged us without authorization on a closed line! Crazy and very wrong.

>3 weeks to port in a land line with too much finger pointing. Claims 24hr port in. Lies. >Friendly customer service, but ineffective. Absolutely refuse to help without your device in hand. >Voicemail box consistency issues. for a user who depends on VM, this is a deal breaker. Overall i'm not impressed in the slightest with this service. CS TARA was a wall. Asked to escalate multiple times with failure.

I signed up on March 3rd and ported a phone number I’ve owned for years. The very next morning, my service was cut off. When I reached out via live chat, they requested proof of address ID, which I promptly provided. Yet, 36 hours later, I was informed that my service had been canceled because of alleged “fraud”–a claim that is entirely untrue. I tried requesting a phone call to resolve the issue, but apparently, the department in charge is unreachable. As a result, my account has been closed, and I now risk permanently losing a phone number I’ve had for years. I’m doing everything I can to recover it, but this has been a nightmare. Bottom line: Do not use RedPocket! My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I will be sharing this warning everywhere possible.
