Impossible to get hold of someone that knows what they're talking about

UK call center yes, but every call reaches 'reception' who have no visibility to your account, nor any technical or customer services capability. They promise to call back, never do. They promise to reply to emails, takes days. Router came misconfigured and locked so even when I connected to it via ethernet I was unable to manually setup the PPPoE settings. Waste of time, avoid. EDIT: I have shared my details with you, feel free to call and I'd gladly give my direct feedback as I've been trying to do for the last few days.

Connection mostly good and staff helpful

Line did go down for a few days and they did everything they could to help asap, Kevin was very helpful and we got credit back for the next month due to the inconvenience.

Patient and effective

Rebel persevered through a long, arduous process getting Openreach to install FTTP. Openreach would not allow me to initiate contact to arrange an appointment which is mind-numbingly short-sighted and unhelpful being a teacher that cannot take calls during the day. I can't imagine the mess I would be in with the undeserving, greedy broadband companies like Virgin Media, EE, Vodafone, BT, and their labyrinthian, unfair contract terms and predatory 'customer service'.

Superior Customer service

Great product with no issues . The only broadband service that offers a monthly rolling contract. Call answers quickly, unlike the big boys . Excellent Customer service . I highly recommend them

Easy to contact

Easy to contact. Kept to timeliness. Kit arrived but I needed a connection for BT line. Phoned customer service who were really helpful and it arrived next day.

Simple and easy…

After 18months of having a complete nightmare trying to get Gigaclear installed I was very wary especially as I was informed I had to have a new Openreach socket installed. I worried for absolutely no reason! The Openreach engineer was extremely polite, efficient and tidy. The service has been brilliant! Never dropping out. I love the month by month contract to. Just great all round so far.

less than 1 MB/s Rebel Wifi

Horrible service and lying customer support. ive been told that in my area rebel is experiencing setbacks and is working to fix it. this was about 2 weeks ago now when they said the longest it would take to sort out would be a few days. to be frankly honest, im paying full price. i expect what i pay for. and Rebel isnt giving me that. they’ve already dismissed calls and basically said “yeah itll be fixed soon” SPOILER! its not. Rebel, i dont care what your excuse is, deliver my service or give my money back, thats the only reason for your existence as an entity, so yeah fix it, cheers. i get anywhere between 500kb/s and 1.5mb/s speeds, this is literally with an ethernet cable so i cant make it any faster. i was promised a minimum of around 20mb/s for the whole house, between us thats a minimum of 4mb/s each. we also paid extra for the booster. (i use the word “booster” lightly) its basically placebo, or at least it is for us in our house lol. be better :)

Great small company

Had an issue with setup, contacted rebel and they looked into it and replied via email overnight. Openreach hadn't connected, they got it sorted the next day and waived my fee for the month. Very impressed so far, was worried about it being a smaller company but almost reassured by that now. Would recommend

Substandard speed and reach

Considering we bought their fastest speed (around 1000mbps) the speed is poor and we had to buy a separate wifi booster because the router doesn’t even reach two floors, even though a £60 setup fee was already charged. Unfortunately due to being a student house we’re renting for 12 months more only so they were our only choice, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.
