This company are scammers. They stole my money (£718.99) I ordered a table with six chairs that never arrived, i pay it with credit card. Now i dont't neve a table and they haven't returned the money but i pay interest on my credit card. Contact with them was absolutely useless. Today i contacted with Financial ombudsman and open case, he said i would get my money with interest. Don't buy from this company you won't get anything and you won't get your money either. !!!!!!!!!DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
Just called in on the Stowmarket branch on my way home, and must pass on how clean, tidy and well stocked this shop is. A credit to your company.
I was impressed to see how fast they were. I would’ve given them five stars if it weren’t for a few mishaps. However customer service was great so my problem was solved quick.
Was privileged to visit Dereham on Thursday and was blown away by your shop. Me and my daughters had a fab time exploring all your vast display of fantastic products and really friendly staff. We will be back.

PERHAPS THEY CAN TELL ME HOW THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED) Something has gone very wrong wrong with this company, my recent experience at QD Oakham was a very traumatic and embarrassing one. I originally had a minor customer service issue at the store. I contacted head office. Although Customer Services was very helpful. The same could not be said of the new store manager. I accepted with some disappointment the outcome on Friday 22nd October. I returned to the store 4 more times to shop to purchase DIY products. On the Saturday, I was served by a young lady who appeared not to be able to speak but did not complain. On my fourth visit, I entered the store selected my purchases from upstairs and downstairs and was about to go and pay and the manager approached me and ordered me out of the store, stating I was banned in front of all the customers she would not explain why, she told me to call head office because they would be sending me a banning order. she did not appear to be experiencing any fear, she appeared to be enjoying the experience. I left the store quite distressed and embarrassed. I called Head Office and spoke to a senior manager and he soon emailed a response to me. The store manager had responded to a head office investigation into my original complaint by dishonestly stating I had approached her outside her place of work and this caused her fear. I did not do this this and can not understand why QD now entertain such dishonesty. It is a great shame. Although QD does not sell to many essential items I have made many impulse purchases since the store opened. The store used to be a enjoyable place to visit. It is a shame the old manager has gone along with many of the other good staff. There are still some good staff some who great and thanks using my name. :-( The manager at Head Office said I could still buy the items I wanted on-line, I don't think so...
Seriously, seriously bad. People say that I am somewhat overly critical of companies and the service given but, then you deal with a company like this. I don't like being rude about people but, I have never dealt with a company where all the staff are as thick as planks...and I mean absolutely no clue what they are doing at all. Peterborough QD must have the most appalling business strategy and structure going. Queues and queues at the checkouts and no clue how to process them and reduce the waiting. Staff wandering around like headless chickens...no clue whatsoever. People leaving in droves because the staff don't know that there is more than one speed...dead slow is the mantra here...how on earth does this store stay open....it is absolutely abysmal.
i bought few storage boxes, all received damaged one of their customer care manager(Laura) emailed me very rudely that i have to pay for the shipping along with a policy link of their terms and conditions on return, after a bit hassle and few lengthy emails to them they refund me and ask me to donate the damage boxes to charity, again one of their customer care manager(Rachael) again emailed me and ask me to refrain from placing any orders with them as if i was going to use them again. what a dumb management they have, asking their customer not to order with them again. so furious and disappointed
Found a fantastic bargain on folding crates and washing machine cleaner so snapped it up. I had never heard of the company before but since the website looked legit I didn’t think about if it was a scam until after I had paid. I then decided to check the reviews to which my heart sank 70+% negative so decided I guess I have lost my money. I placed my order on Friday the 10 September. Within an hour I had a confirmation email, dispatch email and a DPD email saying they were expecting my parcel. About a couple of hours later I had an email from DPD saying they were delivering on Tuesday 14th. Had another email this morning saying they were delivering today. Which is Saturday 11th Sept. I have checked the order and all the crates are unbroken. One of the boxes for the washing machine cleaner is a little squished but doesn’t affect the product. I have also received a confirmation email stating my order has been delivered. So I got my order in approximately 24hours. I can’t say anything for all the negative reviews but my experience has been an extremely positive one. Depending on the products you are buying it could well be worth taking the risk it worked out for me. And it is definitely not a scam like one of the reviews I read said. So I would like to say thank you and keep up the good work.
I ordered a Croft 3mx3m Pergola on Monday 16th Aug, paid next day delivery, received on wednesday 18th. Came through damaged! Still waiting for customer services to get back to me 7 days on from contacting them. Can't actually speak to anyone only a useless robot on their contact page. I would defiantely avoid this company! I was happy for a replacement but seems as they don't get back, I'm now trying to get my money back, which is seeming very difficult! Terrible service which leaves you feeling frustrated. Avoid where possible.
I ordered a garden bench on 28 July 2021 and didn't receive an email to confirm they had my order and would process it. After a couple of emails and having heard nothing, I emailed again to ask them to cancel the order. Two more emails and I've heard absolutely nothing back. I'm suspicious of this company and definitely won't be using them again.
Was so worried after reading reviews but I had amazing service for two extra large storage tubs, was so pleased have ordered 4 more!! Thank you QD for offering quality product at great price with next day delivery!
I contacted the Store Manager Daniel at the Cromer branch of QD as I had not heard about the delivery of two chairs I ordered whilst holidaying in the town. He investigated & told me that the delivery would be significantly delayed. He was extremely pro-active in trying to improve the situation for me: trying to source replacement chairs etc & contacted Customer Services who got in touch with me very quickly. To cut a long story short both the Store Manager & the Customer Services Manager Rachael were very helpful in trying to resolve the situation. Daniel telephoned me to keep me up to date with what had happened regarding my order & Rachael gave me discount on a subsequent delivery which was much appreciated as I live a significant distance from a QD Store. They were both accessible to me, went out of their way to help me & turned a difficult situation around. I didn't find the website straight forward to use & struggled a bit with it. If I had I would have given them 5 stars - overall a positive experience with QD & excellent staff.
The stores are not too bad but the website is terrible when you search for something you never get what you are looking for its always wrong comes up with stuff you never ever searched for needs sorting out
They are a con. Ordered some plants from an ad in the Sun gardening section and when they did not arrive I emailed them but got no reply. On investigating further, I found lots of disgruntled customers warning of their premium rate phone number that cost some people over £35 to fing them to sort out an order totalling a few pounds. I looked for another company which was selling the same product and ordered from them, only to discover that it was Qd stores once more. They have taken my money and unless you use their phone number it is impossible to cancel. Stay well clear of these people.
Bought a gazebo wanted to return told they would only issue a store credit note. Lack lustre customer service not even the CEO seems to care whether his group empire is loosing out on business, also seemingly does not care about customer retention, I guess they are reliant upon selling high volume ex display - smoke damaged / unwanted and close to sell or useby goods and foodstuffs. I have even gone so far as attempting to negotiate purchasing another item, however due a complete lack of ingenuety on the IT / EPOS set up they are unable to refund on to a gift card so instead of having 64.99 worth of revenue they'd receive 199.99 worth of revenue...

Very poor customer service. I bought some plastic boxes and the lids don't clip shut. Sent an email to them but haven't heard anything after 3 weeks.
Bought a gazebo and cover paid £19.99 for next day delivery got the cover but no gazebo, rang twice but no one could tell me anything just that customer care need to deal with it and they will email me I’ve heard nothing, I will not be purchasing from them again
AVOID. Ordered a garden dining set and it arrived so badly damaged that I can only assume it fell off and was subsequently dragged behind the delivery lorry. We looked for a bargain and instead got a pain in the neck for the sake of saving a few pounds.
