Rude arrogant staff member. He saw us come into the store, and carried on stacking shelves! I waited a few minutes and asked if I could return a parcel please. He said not until he’d finished stacking his produce on the shelf !! I took my custom and parcel elsewhere. He obviously has no customer service skills ; not interested in making money from sales ….. in fact I’m not sure why he’s there ! I won’t be returning! I doubt his business will last very long.
Just want to clarify that I had no option but to choose one star before I could write a review The Dyce, Aberdeen, store……… When the post office first moved from Costcutters to Premier Stores, there had been a lot of discussion in the village. I have never come across such rude, ignorant, unhelpful people. I thought it might be teething problems with changing from people who had the post office for over forty years. I did keep going, then stopped altogether as there was no improvement. I became the same as so many people and would travel to Aberdeen instead of having to visit the post office in Dyce. I had to go today as I had to post something urgently…… Absolutely no change at all, rude, dismissive, and regardless of who should have been served first, the server jumped from till to till. The previous post office was part of Dyce, this one in Premier Stores is alienating the whole community. Shocking customer service
Seems to be a theme here. I went to Premier store , Watsons, Newburgh to use a UPS access point. I was greeted by a faceless young chap that treated it like it was a big chore. It must be hard or something to find friendly staff, or at least train your people to be hospitable. For a community shop this guy seriously lets your side down. I had been at this shop before and it seemed fine. Make sure you employ only good friendly staff, because a small local community shop needs that.
Premier store in Grantown on Spey has a pay point but if you try to redeem a voucher to add to electric key your told no can do not trained then when you complain they get aggressive one man shouting at me in Punjabi so I cldnt understand whats been said assuming its to abuse me when previously spoke in English..if you are happy to take the revenue the pay point brings but only provide half of services then abuse your customers when unhappy this is unacceptable if you don't train ALL staff to use it and get away with it by training only one it shldnt be allowed if you go in when the only one trained isn't on shift how is this a service? The voucher clearly shows instructions how to redeem voucher with a code to scan but the ppl who run the store were not interested in following instructions given by saying cldnt do it if you can't follow instructions to make it easy your in the wrong job. I now have to go elsewhere by bus just to redeem voucher because the ppl who run the store are inept and aggressive when its their fault not the customers who expect a paypoint to be a paypoint full time from 7am to 10pm..this store clearly is incapable of providing a much needed service to ppl who are disabled etc so shld be stopped from pretending to do so..I will be complaining to head office as trying to resolve with the store not happening so I will go above their heads nobody is untouchable..just train all your staff to provide a service you falsely advertise as having. To abuse a vunerable woman in Punjabi makes you a weak bully.
If could I would leave a zero star review Store on Clarkston Road, Glasgow are dishonest. I’m never ever setting foot in that branch again. Got short changed by £1. £5.00-£2.50=£2.50 not £1.50. I didn’t correct the mistake because I wasn’t prepared to be called all sorts of names.
Nottingham Road, Bingham, NOTTS. Don’t bother using this store for UPS! I’ve tried twice now and they simply don’t seem to want the business. The first time (some months ago) they told me that they had too many parcels so couldn’t take any more, surely more parcels means more revenue for the shop? The second time (this morning) they gave some random reason that they couldn’t take my parcel, apparently they wanted three copies of the customs declaration attaching to the outside of the parcel, stacked on top of each other. Oddly enough, both times that my parcels have failed to be accepted the small shop in East Bridgford has gladly taken them from me, obviously they’re glad of the opportunity to make money.
HADSTON precinct. Took parcel to be returned via Evri. Put label on parcel as advices by seller. Had to print another label off in shop. Took to counter get receipt to be told could not scan two labels. So said well I’ll just take this off and went to rip one label off. Tirade of abuse by woman behaving counter including ‘f***’ people like me. Then told not to take parcels there again. Said I was aggressive. Only wanted to drop parcel off. Never swore at her spoke loud or impolite. So very unprofessional and unwarranted. Clearly wrong day to go in store. Clearly not right person for job. Will never go in again will shop at co op next door. And get parcels collected. Thought supporting a small business
All stores in southend on sea are so rude. They just want to talk on there mobiles to there mates in a foreign language and try to do till whilst they are serving. I just stand there with my stuff just out of reach till a queue forms. Still on his phone waving frantic at me for my stuff. After a long wait the penny dropped. He puts phone down and I give him a good talking to about manners and being rude. Falls on death ears as when I go they are straight back on it. Im now avoiding these shops and encourage others to do the same until they learn manners. Minus 50 stars.
Disgusting service and treatment of disabled people at the Premier Store Ashland Milton Keynes. Avoid these stores, rude and aggressive.
Premier stores at Mill lane, Ryhill. Wakefield. Customer service are robbing gits for overcharging people. Stay away or make sure you ask for the receipt and check the price of items you buy.
Pembury Road Eastbourne - owner 100% rude rude rude bad attitude DO NOT recommend - stood in the wrong place to be served - really ..........100% negative
Premier shop drive road glasgow bought a Warburton loaf tonight at £1.79 what a rip off thought the Premier shops were reasonable prices won't shop here again
I'm afraid I have to add to the 85% negative review of Premier Stores regarding Manor Road, Sudbury, Suffolk, co101pb. Too often we've allowed out of date stock go under the radar. But when I tried to return a filthy bottle of white wine I was told it was my fault for not checking the contents (through green glass). I had to return a second time and was told that - without raising my voice or swearing - I would not be able to exchange the product if I behaved as I did; entirely civil but frustrated. I didn't want an exchange for an additional £1.20. I wanted a refund. You'll tend to find that the cashier is relentlessly on the phone with scant regard for customer-facing service. These corner stores are not enjoyable, in my *unprejudiced* opinion and you'll be better off getting exercise and walking to a professional outlet at a cheaper price. The audacity of comparing their products with a walk to Aldi was beyond hilarious. I have no receipts or photos but after 12 years I will swear an affidavit that as a regular, I wouldn't set foot in the door any longer for reasons above. You decide on what is, "convenience" but it is not price or professionalism. UPDATE: Oh my God. I asked my 16 year old to pick up some Xmas second class stamps for Xmas as I thought even THEY can't mess the price of a stamp. Unfortunately they can! As of 17:00 14/12/203 I had to escort her back to the shop WITH A RECEIPT I SPECIFIALLY ASKED MY DAUGHTER TO RETAIN AS I KNOW THEY ARE TRICKERS/FRAUDSTERS/. They are cynical tricksters and took £15 off my daughter's card. They gave it back pretty quickly when I showed up. Disgusting, Vile and who rips off a teenager! Just f*k these shops when you can't even get a 2nd 75p stamp without being charged for 1st. There are other issues with these shops but I can't roam into the world of libel or slander. Trust me! I'm not lying. Any trick will be pulled by them. The difference being £9 or £15 pounds. To me that is a crime unless you want to give away £6. It's a wonder these shops still operate. Out of curiosity I've just read *EVERYONE'S*, the WHOLE lot, review and you think..... who overprices so blatantly, who tricks kids, whose service is in the gutter, who sells moldy milk, whose trash is all outside, who wants to listen to (no prejudice) an Asian conversation with no eye contact at the till until it turns abusive. Sure I can get there in 2 minutes for a ropey onion or 20 minutes round-trip to a PROPER outlet. The *common* theme in these reviews is rudeness, a sense of arrogance and that we are all stupid. Which we kinda are for ever having used the franchise in the first place. UPDATE. I'm my own worst enemy. Really need to avoid what seems to be a crime syndicate. I questioned a stated price at the till which was completely different to the price as marked. I showed the cashier who was *filming* me and she brushed it off as "prices change all the time." I'm pretty sure you can only sell at the marked price and not an elevated number at the till. Trading Standards!
Station Road, Taunton. Offhand male who overcharged me and had no manners.
I felt intimidated, felt staff was talking about me, also 2weeks ago,I was lucky enough to have 3 numbers on the lottery, the sales assistant tried to say just a lucky dip,but I knew different as I had checked my numbers so I was once step ahead, and this was dishonesty on her behalf, it worries me, that there could be pensioners, who know no do different being caught out,
Dresden store tall dark guy so rude. I asked for help. He refused.AVOID a customer helped me to do a return. I told him how rude he was even ruder in his reply. And to Premier this man is a disgrace. I will NEVER go in there again. And would advise anyone thinking of going not to unless you lie being insulted. This man would be better off working in a morgue. Certainly not in a customer facing role.
Dropped off valuable DHL parcel. No paper receipt as assistant said DHL sends by email or text. Nothing received. Shop assistants when I phoned three times too busy to check parcel or help with tracking number. Finally I was told the parcel was not in the shop. DHL was helpful but could do nothing without the tracking number which was the responsibility of the shop. Be careful leaving parcels at this shop.
I occasionally use this store as they are expensive and there isn’t a great selection. All i wanted was some bread. I checked through what they had and almost every loaf or packet of buns was out of date. Some were out of date by over a month. These items were full(expensive) price. I pointed it all out to the person running the store but they didn’t understand me. I left without buying anything. Pretty sure selling out of date food at full price is against food safety rules. Tried contacting The Premier Store group but as the store is independently owned, they aren’t interested. If you have to shop there, please check the expiry dates.
Galloway Avenue stores in Ayr . 2 new staff are shocking , they do not have any customer service skills at all . They are rude to everyone , one of them refused to sell a lighter to a customer because he was a drug user , they limit the amount of alcohol you can buy eg one bottle and one pack of beer . One asked for ID from my son which he didn’t have on him , he said he comes into the shop everyday to which she replied she doesn’t care , he said the shop was a joke now . He went back round with his ID and she refused to serve him because of when he said about the shop. I have witnessed her being abusive to vulnerable adults and adults with learning disabilities and if you say anything they turn the abuse on you . The other staff are great apart from this terrible twosome . They are losing alot of custom because of their attitude and looking down their noses at people . They don’t even deserve one star
