Friendly staff accept 2 (1 is the owner I believe) over priced BUT often get some great bargains!! and my only local shop save getting the car out just a 10min walk!

Visited the Premier Store in Halton, lancaster to return an item using the Hermes terminal and the “shop packaged” service The process is scan the q code, hand the label and item to the assistant, they package and label The item, a small box was just too big for the packaging and they wanted me to stick the return label to the item, which would damage it. I pointed out the instructions said not to and suggested we split the large envelope down it’s side and then tape up, using the tape in the tape dispenser on the counter. The response, no, that’s shop tape, you can buy some if you want. Even though it’s supposed to be a paid for return with packaging. Shop manager / owner attitude was couldn’t care less. Very poor experience
Untrustworthy click and collect system. Made me sort my own labels, threw them through the glass and asked me to stick them on. When I refused to take their rubbish from the labels, the lady chased me out screaming and threw labels and parcels at my car and into the main road.
Horrible experience aggressive bully shop assistant in premier Post office convenient store Glastonbury Road bury st edmunds. I was collecting a parcel day after parcelforce delivery, He told me off for not collecting it sooner... they have no space. I explained parcel force told me the shop would hold it up to 2 weeks...He got defencive and aggressive and bullish and tried to intimidate... I told him he was a rude man and renound for being rude...he called me a child. then he told me to get out and not come back. I got my parcel and as I was leaving he called me a racist.... I turned around and asked why and what whats his name... he said I'm not telling you get out. I was very upset and put in an official complaint. Has anyone else had similar experiences in this shop. The first thing that happened as i walked through the door was tripping over the worn mats which are laid over dirty flooring. The store smelt dirty. I came in to send a Hermes parcel, and was told the machine was in the corner..I had to climb over a basket of bread which the assistant wouldn't move. Around the machine it was dirty & littered. Really, a disgusting experience.
Have been directed to the nearest shop at Sr3, claiming it was open till 10pm. After a 15 minute walk I got the at 9.10pm and it was closed. Some one out side who lives round the corner was complaining as they always do this. If you can’t be bothered to stay open until 10 then don’t false advertise it. Review now left and company reported for false advertising.
I went to my local shop on Higher Bridge Street.Bolton ,BL1.They are new owners.They were selling single cigarettes for 80p each and charging 60p on debit card transaction sales plus a £1 charge for cash back.I will not shop here again
The price of paracetamol in your stores is disgusting you are charging 99 pence for 16 the identical ones can be bought elsewhere for 29 pence a lot of your products aren't even priced that is unacceptable
have just visited the Premier Stores Chyngton Walmer Road Seaford postcode BN25 3TH and I am shocked by the attitude and behaviour of the manager of the post office the store operates a queuing system for the post office and then a separate queue for the shop and it clear that they ignore the post office clients and prioritise the main shop queue as I had been bypassed at least 4 times by other clients queuing and when I asked to speak to the manager he was very rude and said that I should understand and if I don’t like I can go somewhere else and that he does not care as the post office does not generate him any income which frankly is a terrible attitude and an unpleasant experience for clients I suggest that he is given some training on customer care as he is not representing Royal Mail or Premier Stores in a very good light he should be ashamed and certainly not a Manager of convenience Store.
Friday 28/05/21 went to balby Doncaster corner premier shop woodfield road its was very hot outside and someone made runner without paying taxi fair as I walked inside the shop to buy cold drink 🥤 I was fuming about the man who didn’t pay the fair as I was talking to customer service lad who were serving me that time behind the counter I was angry 😡 swearing that customer who didn’t pay the taxi fair but shop keeper thought I was swearing at him after few days 31/5/21 went back to the shop to get cold drink 🥤 same shop keeper who about 20/25 age start shouting at me and called his manager told him that I was swearing his manager after few moments there’s about three staff and shop owner started shouting people’s from streets he was threatening me using bad language saying I am from Gujrat India one of the staff open the car door and took the keys from ignition switch as I was getting late from customers calls I was on duty and shop manager was very aggressive and shouting and swearing and I trying to explain to him I didn’t swore to him I swearing my taxi customer who didn’t pay me fair after few minutes I said sorry 😞 as he forced me and threaten me using bad language which unacceptable outside his shop I was very upset and confused my brain was in shocked what happened he also trying to attack me taking pictures of my taxi this is my short story .
The Premier shop at Bradford on Avon, insisted on a three pound minimal purchase to use a debit card. These shops are gouging customers trying to minimise use of cash in the pandemic. The staff are also rude and lying about the true costs of a transaction, which he claimed was two pounds. We like to use local shops but a few bad apples hinting are commitment.
Rip off Premier located near Poole Park in Dorset. My daughter bought lunch which came to less than £3.00 and tried to pay by card. She was told the minimum spend for card purchases was £3.00 and she was charged this £3.00 for items that came to £2.50. Absolute rip off and I'd question the legality of this practice.
I used to be a fan of this shop which I would spend around £100+ every week which is £5,200 per year. Sadly their prices have slowly increased over time but what's put the final nail in the coffin for this store for me is the Introduction of a 10p fee for a flimsy carrier bag which is not worth the cost of the bag. I can purchase 100 carriers for £2 for carriers of the same quality. What's more on their carrier bags they use them to promote the shop. So I'm definitely going to take my business to Tesco's as their prices are much better and the carrier bags are much better quality.
Upwell, Cambridgeshire store Bought a sandwich ...when I got I the car and took a bite it didn’t taste great, looked at the date and realised it was out of date, popped back in and asked if I could exchange it due to being out of date, he agreed but no apology what so ever...
Absolutely disgusting behaviour in the st Andrews parade Weston super mare. My son who has autism and has seizures was not allowed in because he is mask exempt, he only wanted a drink and a sandwich to sit on a bench with a friend he hasn't seen for over a year due to shielding. She wouldn't let him in he got so stressed he started shaking and feeling unwell outside of the shop, then a friend helped him as he had a 10minute seizure. It was the first time he had been away from home in over a year. He now won't leave the house as it has upset him so much. I have complained on line , but no response. Disgusting 😡
I was in the shop just browsing, and the guy kept on asking me: "what are you looking for?", "what are you looking for?", I don't know! I didn't say it but I didn't know and he was not saying it helpfully, it was like he was super impatient and had no care for the treating of his customers, and just wanted me to choose something and get out. But that is not the bad part. The shop did not have what I was looking for, so after a few minutes browsing, I was just considering leaving, but I was still polite. Then, he just impatiently said: GET (SOMETHING) (he didn't say the word something but I knew that was what he was trying to say) and was just like "I'm closing so get something and get out sort of thing-they don't close till 11pm that day but he said they close at 4-it was already past four. Then, I politely said that they didn't have what I was looking for so I will probably go somewhere else, and he said: "OK GO, GET OUT, GO AWAY!" What a rude person! He said it like I am wasting his time! I can come in there and browse whenever I should want to really, who is he to be like that at all? Definately not going there again, except maybe to test if it's different in a while. I am a customer and he is providing a service. I soon went to Sainsbury's because I can always count on them to be amazing, as they were.
I went to Premier 223 Strathmore Ave, Dundee DD3 6SN. And picked up bread, and also asked how much a small pot of cream was, i can't remember the exact amount but he said about a £1, i then said thanks and put it back in the fridge, he started shouting at me, why are you not buying it!!! have you found it cheaper somewhere else!!! I was shocked so just said i only want the bread, but he wouldn't stop moaning at me! He was so aggressive!! I didn't but it because i only wanted it if it was like 50p because thats the change i had on me and i wasn't that fussed n couldn't be bothered breaking a £10, but why on earth should i have to explain myself to him! Ignorant so n so!!! I stupidly still bought the bread anyway because i needed it, but i should've told him to stuff the loaf where the sun don't shine!! That was about a year or so ago, i used to buy my bread out of there all the time but I've never been back since!!!
Premier store it is been 12 weeks for my order still have not received it . send email and as usuel no answer . worst experience ever for web buy it look more like a fraud every week .
Recent visit to Premier stores Victoria Dock Hull, absolutely appalled by the attitude of staff and management.I repeatedly asked staff to keep their distance in regards to covid guidelines and after being ignored lost my temper.the female member of staff informed me that she was the manager to which I responded you should know better.the member of staff behind the counter threw my package at me and continued to act in an abusive manner.i was absolutely fuming,I am a health care assistant and work with vulnerable people,I have never been treated so badly in my entire life.
Unbelievable staff behaviour, the guy was on a private phone call and he refused to collect my parcel for Hermes, more than that he asked me to go out from the store and he called me animal when I dare to say it's his duty to provide a service, however I will not enter in this store ever. I never had in my whole life such an experience.
