Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.
My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon.
This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY.
If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD.
On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.

The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.
Shame on those at the top in the PO who knew what was happening and lied about what they knew. and shame on all those involved including those judges who sentenced innocent people to prison clearly without any evidence which made that lawful. you will never recover from all your evil wrong doings.
I will never trust or use the Post Office again after their treatment of their staff and wrongful convictions. This organisation was once regarded as a wonderful, reliable organisation with integrity. No more. In my view the senior staff who were behind the false prosecutions caused by the Horizon system should themselves be prosecuted. The injustice they have caused is appalling.
When I arrived at the post office, the lady at the counter was very polite,
from then on the process of renewing my passport was so efficient,

Tracking a parcel, being delivered from the post office, I received an email saying they had tried to deliver my parcel but no one was home, I have been home all morning waiting on the delivery, but no one from the post office came to my door, this has happened three times now on different occasions

I recently received one of the grey postcards through my letterbox telling me that a package could not be delivered as the sender had not paid the full postage. When I was finally able to access my local sorting office (reduced hours etc.), I was shown that, apart for my name and address, there were no other identifying details on the package (and no postage details from the sending post office!!) Despite having contacted the friend who sent the package, who produced a receipt for the item from her local post office with tracking details & identified the parcel from a photograph I'd been allowed to take, I am still required to pay the fine (more than twice the postage already paid by the sender) before the package will be released!! Needless to say, I asked the customer service agent with whom I was speaking to raise a complaint on my behalf as he told me that these errors raised by machines cannot be overridden!! Just in case anyone from Royal Mail actually DOES take ANY notice of these reviews I have included the complaint number below. Your system has left me no alternative than to pay an unjust fine (which I have virtually NO chance of being reimbursed) as, just like the debacle which ensued with the Fujitsu scandal, we are presumed GUILTY, with no redress available. This is another example of systems which DO NOT WORK & are COMPLETELY UNJUST!!!
The Post Office had a new system called Horizon from Fujitsu. The Horizon system was so full of bugs it made it look as though sub-postmasters had taken money from the Post Office. They hadn't, and the Post Office knew this. They were so keen to preserve the "reputation" of the Post Office that they prosecuted sub-postmasters even though they knew they were innocent. It is obscene the way this organisation blamed innocent people who were fined, sent to prison and given criminal records; some even committed suicide. If you consider using the Post Office, you should watch the BBC Panorama TV programme "The Post Office Scandal" from 2022 available on BBC iPlayer, the ITV series Mr Bates vs The Post Office 2024, and the ITV documentary Mr Bates vs the Post Office: The Real Story. The Post Office covered up the errors that they knew about. They put money and the Post Office brand above people's lives and livelihoods. Outrageous. The even sacked Second Sight, the independent company appointed to investigate malpractice within the Post Office, and ordered Second Sight to destroy their documentation. They were clearly trying to cover their tracks. We need to have the results of the inquiry made public.

The CEO of the Post Office at the time was ordained Anglican priest — this venal woman was rewarded with a CBE when she left the Post Office in 2019. Clearly, this honour should be stripped from her, and there is a petition to demand this.
The Post Office had been informed that the convictions were unsafe. The Post Office deliberately withheld details of the problems with the Horizon system, thus perverting the course of justice. This is not just a matter of opinion, this is fact.
This scandal has been going on for years; it's high time the sub-postmasters received compensation and that their pensions are reinstated. An apology is not enough.
